Well, had a new experience today at this dentist office. I made my appointment for a routine cleaning well in advance, put it on my calendar, and set up my reminder notices. I arranged for time off work for the appointment. Apparently, there is another REQUIRED step. They called to confirm my appointment and also texted me. I actually thought I answered the text, but upon checking, I forgot to hit the send button. I checked the voicemail and the text and both indicate that confirming your appointment is something they prefer. It does not say it is REQUIRED. When I arrived on time for my appointment, they told me that since I didn't confirm, they double booked the appointment and that I would have to leave and reschedule!!!! When I protested, they just gave me a copy of the previously signed (a year ago) patient appointment policy. This the very first time I have ever had any appointment cancelled due to not confirming. I've had some issues with a few infected teeth recently and the Dental Depot on the west side was the easiest experience I've had at a dentist ever. The front desk is very helpful and understanding of budgeting + making payment plans which was a huge relief. The dentist Dr. Bennet was extremely patient and kind considering I was kind of freaking out when I came in for my emergency appointment. But I now have a care plan set up and I feel very comfortable with both the dentist and staff. read more

I had an appointment today at 9:00 AM for a crown. I got there at 9:22AM, the night before I was at the hospital dealing with a legitimate family emergency until 4:00AM. The asian lady at the front desk went back to talk to the dentists. She came back and told me I was too late for my appointment and that I had to resechdule. I said I would not, since the tooth worked on last time (5 days ago) is now extremely sensitive to cold, and when I bite down all the pressure is on one side (the tooth just worked on). After I mentioned this tooth having increased sensitivity and issues when I bite, the lady said and I Quote: "Well you should make it to your appointments on time." I was told last time that a crown appointment is blocked off for 2 hours. If the late appointment grace period is 15 minutes, and i get there not even 10 minutes after that, why would the appointment be cancelled? I'll gladly go to a different office, since i was a brand new customer last friday. Thank you Dental Depot for showing me you have the worst front desk staff, who wish they were dentists, and like to take out their self-hatred on other human beings. read more

The dentist was great. The dental hygienist was okay. The receptionist is what got me. I came in Tuesday at 3:45 for my 4:00 appointment. At 4:15 the lady said she can't verify my insurance and she called them and they said I wasn't covered and she need to reschedule because it's past the 15 min mark or whatever. I told her to reschedule and I called my insurance. My insurance said they never got a call from the office but she can fax over the info, when the office got the information they immediately got me in to clean my teeth. The receptionist definitely lied and the look on the girls face was funny when I came out my cleaning session. Why y'all act like my insurance wasn't good? Lol. read more

I don't know where to start but my experience was unacceptable. 1. music to loud and not what I enjoy. I ask assistant to lower volume and she never did I had to ask Dr. 2. told me crown was in on phone only to arrive and told it wasn't. The I insisted to look for it, wow they found it. 3. Fiting new crown I was told it wouldn't cover my tooth and it was made wrong. 4. I was given shots to num my mouth and they were going to cut offf or trim my gum. and then they discovered that it was made correct and they didn't have it placed far enough down into place. I had all my teeth pulled for dentures and my chin bruised so bad I felt like I was beat they only gave me 12 hydrocodone for the pain so I was absolutely suffering when I finished the prescription they said they couldn't refill it and I didn't like anything about my dentures or instructions after wards I would not recommend dental depot for dentures my mom aunt had dentures I told them how everything was done and they said they had much better experience at there dentist and I would not get dentures here I'm even posting my experience on social media very unhappy I feel like I've been beat up and they said by law they couldn't call in a refill I suffered I know they lied to me they could have dont go to dental depot for dentures I couldn't take the ibuprofen they prescribed me I couldn't take because I take a prescription it could not be taken with but I don't recommend at all and my dentures look fake I've seen them online to buy and they look better these are cheap I never got to pick shade or shape or anything I'm so disappointed they dont care about there patients be carefull I went to the one on main in Norman oklahoma I didn't even get to pick my dentures or the shade they are not white and the bottom dont look right and one of the assistants didn't put numbing cream on before she stuck the needle in my gums on the bottom and it hurt it was like she was trying to hurt me that's in the places I hurt the most still 3 days later the girl who did the top it went well but a different girl came in to do the bottom and she put the needle in so hard it felt like she hit my bones another girl came in and told her she put topical numbing pads there for her she didn't stop to get them kept going and then put 2 on the last 2 jabs I can't believe it I'm so mad I can't type fast enough I'm just so upset I should of looked at reviews first just don't go there I can't thank straight right now I'm so mad and disappointed these are my teeth they don't care about you it's just money this was the worst experience read more

The office manager, Ms. Elizabeth Maloy's CONDENCENDING AND HARSHNESS ATTITUDE TOWORD ME ON 4/13/22 WAS UNBELIBABLE. She refused to let me talk. Ms. Meloy wants to be in control, she wants win and she wants to be right in the conversation. Therefore, I gave up and left office. I've visited Tecumseh office at least 5 times since Jan. 2022 to solve the issues of the bill and claims but I've never seen Ms. Maloy until 4/13/22. Where has she been? Ms. Maloy pointed out the name of claim error of 10/2/21 which my insurance called Tecumseh office on 2/14/22 and it has been corrected and my insurance has already paid. Ms. Maloy your office is the one needs to refund $109 in order for my insurance to make a payment for 10/22/21. Ms. Maloy will never understand her poor management skills. I wonder who put a person like her as a office manager. read more

This office is horrible. There's a sign out front that says they're accepting new patients, and there's a reason for that, all the old patients are gone. Office manager is very condescending and will not offer any kind of goodwill at all. Was overcharged for two crowns and a predetermination wasn't done with the insurance company to start with. Don't go here if you're expecting any kind of concessions on something you don't agree with; you won't get it. Receptionist was okay, type of care and care quality go out the door, I came just for a regular cleaning haven't seen a dentist in a while....got a part time job they paid for cleaning. Now the fact that the dentist wasn't there was my first red flag ...they said his wife had just given birth and he needed to go to his wife understandable but not only did I not see the doctor I really wanted to see..I got stuck with two dental hygienist that seem like they didn't know anything and they dug into two of my front teeth and some other doctor that seemed like he did not want to be there and now have cavities in them I take care of my teeth the past 5 years no problem and all of a sudden I go to this place and have TEO FREAKIN CAVITIES I. The office manager contacted me. Upon seeing my review she realized that the computer system had a glitch and my kid's appointments were indeed scheduled. I appreciated that she reached out to me. She asked about my other grievances and I told her what had happened. She informed me that she wasn't the manager at the time of my issue but apologized for what had happened and she assured me that corrections were being made. read more

I only every use Dental Depot in case of an emergency. Had impacted tooth, already been to the emergency room and was told to go to the dentist immediately following emergency room. My pain level has grown from an 8 to a 12. I need some type of relief. I didn't even see the dentist was given a prescription for more antibiotics. The dental assistant was unfriendly and when I said the X-ray machine was too tall and it hurt. She tells the dr. That I can't even open my mouth. I asked if she could lower the machine and she refused. Appointment to go back in two weeks. I'll be at another dentist before I go back to there. read more

I got my wisdom teeth removed here last week. They gave me no information about post op, just put me in my friends car, gave me some papers and a bag and sent me off. They didn't give an iced head wrap like every single other place offers, only a one-use disposable ice pack. Now I believe I might have an infection and they won't answer their phones. I am frightened and do not know what to do. It is very safe to say I will never be returning to Dental Depot, even if it's just a cleaning. read more

So my husband went in for a cleaning well he got more then that he got a bacterial infection for just a cleaning. So we was in pain with a tooth we go back they give antibiotics ok that's fine. Well we are 3 weeks in the teeth is needing to be pulled and we can't get a treatment plan. My husband has been up every night with his tooth hurting we call its something different every time.
