Chorizo eggs Benedict
Chris C.

Had DoorDash delivery, everything arrived warm. I tried the eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and had chorizo for added flare. The chorizo was nice and salty with good back end spicy but not overwhelming at all. Also got a side of biscuits and gravy, little on the flavorless side for a simple southern dish, but not bad.

Oven-Baked Caramel Apple Pie Crisp

Order online through the app and got there 3 minutes early and they said the food wasn't ready so I quietly and patiently waited once I got the food and left I looked inside to see my dessert burnt and with 4 apple slices in it this is RIDICULOUS I am paying these overpriced prices I expect my food to be treated with a little care and not leaving it to burn.

Hair in my food bad service and slow on making and deliverying my food I don't think I would order her again

Actually charged me an extra dollar for 2 oz of dressing for the salad

Waitress needs training. Brought our food including my steak. Never waited to see if we needed any steak sauce. I needed it. I had to ask another waitress for the steak sauce. Went over to the side with coworkers and just started having a conversation amongst themselves and ignoring us. It's obvious that they are all very close because you could tell by their body language and the fact that they all yelled they loved each other as they left. I'm glad to see that they are close, but don't forget your customers too. Came back after we were finished and asked if we needed anything else. My well done steak was only cooked thoroughly on one end. Added on $1 extra because we asked for an extra tiny container of dressing. Never mentioned that there was an extra charge. honestly, I feel very sick to my stomach after eating that partly raw steak. Yep, crossing this one off the list of places to eat.

A very stand-up establishment in the historical town of Old Vincennes. Located off the banks of…read morethe Wabash River and nestled into the epicenter of what is the first "Main Street" in Indiana... ... This quaint Diner offers up the general fare you would expect from a divey-diner experience, but elevated. From the exquisite breakfasts, to beef manhattan lunches. You may also, want to choose from a wide array of delectable homemade pies, ahhh... The owners and staff are beautiful people that pour their souls into the food, and are there daily. Get there at a decent time during their posted hours though... If not, you'll miss out on the food you want, because everything is made to order, and so fresh, they don't waste any "thyme" with leftovers. A small secret... if you have a sweet tooth... Tell Chris, the owner, that your "Food tasted as good as Tom Brady's loving eyes look" & you'll be rewarded with a free piece of Pie!!! Gosh, oh golly, I love this place!

I mean, you could eat here three times a week for the price of going to any other restaurant once per week. Most of the breakfast dishes were like...$5 or under. Serious deals for this kind of food, not something you see these days. I appreciated this diner for being one of few restaurants that just serves bare bones, basic food for cheap.

After hiking and viewing museums on the west side of the state, I was hungry and decided to give…read moreGraze 1885 at try. This restored building is very cool with multiple rooms for dining including above the main entrance. With free street parking out front, I was able to grab a spot and proceed to order at the long side of the L-shaped counter (pastries are displayed on the short side facing the door.) I decided to go with a Reuben sandwich that comes with potato salad and chips (odd combo). I also ordered a Peachberry Crumble from the pastry side while waiting and an iced Pekoe Tea. They have utensils on a display at the far end of the counter. The crumble was a perfect blend of berries and peach flavors and was more of a "bar" than a crumble since it held together nicely. Great taste. The Pekoe Tea was refreshing and just hit the spot after all that walking! Before long, one of the staff brought out my plate and additional utensils and napkins. The Reuben was huge! It came on diagonally slice marble rye and the sauerkraut was pickled with a tangy tart flavor. Really good, but I decided to save half of it for later. The potato salad serving was rather small, but it was delicious. Just a bit of crunch on the potatoes (not sure what they did, but it was good!) The chips were lightly seasoned and were tasty (not just salt). Nice crispy crunch there too! I was really surprised how much I enjoyed the meal and liked that even in the hours after normal lunch, they were still having folks drop in. (Note that they stop serving lunch at 3.) Definitely a place to check out if you are in Vincennes. Review #2974

Yesterday I brought my kids for a Saturday morning breakfast. This was Graze's first weekend after…read moretheir reopening this past Wednesday, so I want to start off by saying that I realize they are just getting back into the swing of things. First off, this is such an inviting, cozy little spot in a beautiful historic building on Main and the girl running the front counter was very sweet. My sons and I assumed the only food available was what's put out in the display cases. They do not include other food items on their menu board. That being said, we each ordered a caramel cinnamon roll. I ordered a hot chai latte (delicious!), my eldest ordered a hot macchiato (very good), and my youngest a hot chocolate (a bit on the watery side...not much flavor). Had their full menu been visibly displayed, my two hungry teenagers would have definitely chosen something else. After ordering, we sat at an available table and waited for our cinnamon rolls. They were brought to our table in a few short minutes. I assumed since we were "dining in" that they would have warmed the rolls prior to serving, but they came out room-temperature making them a little on the dry/hardened side. I'm sure we could have sent them back asking that they be warmed, but we didn't want to be a bother as there was now a short line of customers waiting to be served. They still tasted good and I'm sure they'd be delicious warmed up and maybe a little larger in size. Regardless, I'm happy Graze 1885 has reopened its doors! It's so nice to have another alternative for breakfast / lunch downtown. My only suggestions would be to 1) ask the customer if they would like their food warmed up, 2) consider an alternative way to display the full menu...a digital menu board that can be updated as needed would look very nice. Oh and placement of a customer-accessible trash receptacle would be great! I look forward to frequenting Graze in the future. :)
