I should've been warned by the sign on the door that read cash only, credit machine is down. But I had some cash so I figured why not. I got sat in a little corner where I'd figured I'd be forgotten about. And I was right. By the time the waitress came to take my drink order I had already decided what I wanted to order. It had been about 10 minutes of waiting so far. I waited and waited and waited for my food to come out and when it did I was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered a chicken skillet and my chicken was way over cooked. Bits of it were crispy. My broccoli was soggy as well as my potatoes. My partner had a moons over my hammy and it had absolutely no flavor. We finished our food anyways as were short on time and didn't want to wait another forty minutes for them to remake anything. And then we got to wait for them to bring the check. And we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally it got brought to us after flagging down our waitress. Absolutely horrible! Never come to this place the staff never attends you and the food is horrible. Also this is not the first time this has happened last time we recieved moldy bread and today we recieved a cofee that had a wrapper in it which is absolutely disgusting and to top it off when we we would call for the waiter she would not come. Overall the food was disgusting raw,hard, we were unattended and the whole place was really dirty. If you want to ruin your day and appetite go ahead and come to this dennys. Went after going to the Global Winter Wonderland. When we got there I waited about 5 minutes for someone to ask how many people in our party I told them 5 and then the girl walked away. I assumed she went to look for a table. More people came in and I saw what looked like the manager writing their names down then sitting there down like 2 or 3 minutes after. So I went to ask if my name had been written down and it hadn't. So he wrote it down and I went to sit again and wait. More and more people walked in and got seated almost immediately while we STILL waited. Total time waiting to be seated was 30 minutes. Then we ordered and it took 40 minutes to get our food, even though we all pretty knew what we were gonna want and ordered as soon as we sat down. When we got the food it was cold like it had been ready and just sitting there for quite some time. Not even luke warm it was simply cold. Never AGAIN! read more

My other experiences at these restaurants was so-so or just not good. I understand that at some points people are very tired, but this guy francisco was very nice and attentive. He would pace back and forth asking if our food was good, which is a good skill in the food business (this pertains to, the right cues of when to approach a customer or guest at your restaurant or at the restaurant you are working at and knowing how much attentiveness is needed). I feel he will do well, when progressing in his future career or restaurant job. Anyways moving on, he was great and attentive. He asked if the food was good, did we need anything else... the crew seamed nice and quick, like they wanted to please their guests. He made a good cup of coffee, most people would of served the old brew yet he was nice enough to make a new batch, and boy was it good. Overall good service, but my one criticism is that even if the restaurant isn't that busy please clean the tables more often! Why? Because, as a guest with my family we had to move around to find a cleaner booth/table to sit at. Keep it up with the great food/service, I hope to come back again in the future. read more

Felt like I was being harassed by the worker who constantly told us to be quiet when in all honesty we were all on our phones. He said "can you keep it down there are other guests here." We were so confused because we were not talking. We would understand if we were being loud but we weren't. It was very disrespectful and unnecessary. read more

I called to make an order at 11:55pm. I was told it would take 15 minutes before they give me a call back when everything is ready. I had waited until 12:30 when I decided to call because no one had called me, and was put on hold until supposedly the lady that took my order would come to the phone to take the call but I waited for 10 mins and decided to hang up from waiting for too long. I went inside at 12:40 and was told that someone called me but I had no missing calls at FULL bars. I then had to wait another 30 mins because the lady that had attended me canceled my order, originally when I went inside she was on her phone texting behind the cashier stand. It wasn't until 1:30 that my girlfriend and I got to eat our cold food and melted sundae. Thanks for ruining my night Denny's. read more

Bad service. Wasn't too full and still took thirty minutes to bring us food and fifteen to bring a drink. And the salmon was very dry and flavor Very disappointed. read more

I gave this place a fair go even after reading the reviews. Coming for breakfast, I had a build your own slam consisting of grits, oatmeal, 2 eggs easy over, and sourbread toast with coffee. I guess there's no training involved to work here. My "waitress" didn't know how to keep my cup filled. My grits were cold and watery. They managed to get the toast and eggs right, but there was sooo much oil on the eggs making them slide right off the plate. I'm sure part of it is the help you get these days -- they don't know anything:( I'd recommend avoiding this place unless you just want a place to warm up:) read more

I will NEVER again step foot at this Denny's. After finding HAIR in my food more than ONCE on the same plate, i was completely disgusted and wanted to puke. They offered to remake it or take it off my menu but what about the other food we had ordered? It couldve had hair in it too.. revolting...hope anyone else didnt eat food with hair in it..feel like barfing rn while writing this.ugh.. what kind of workers do you have, do they even follow safe procedures while making food? Slowest service ever took them like 15 mins to bring drinks and ya been like 30 mins to serve food

With thanks to our server Andrea F and to my sister for treating me to dinner. However that is where my gratitude ends. The service tonight was terrible. I watched 4 customers walk out, My guess would be because no one greeted them after waiting for approximately 14 minutes. My sister and I were in the restaurant for at least an hour and the only time we seen the manager on duty was when a party of three traveling thru from Los Angeles ( our table was within earshot of their conversation) asked to speak to the Manager. They let the Manager know they were leaving as the server took their order however no one ever returned with their food or drinks after waiting 30 mins. The table across from us waited just as long before their food arrived but only after the gentleman reminded them he and his wife were still waiting for their meals. In this economy, on this night, Dennys needed to greatly improve on their Customer service. I believe improvement starts with the Manager. Make your presence known. Pitch in and help pick up tables in preparation of your next guests. We witnessed our server Andrea F holding her coworkers accountable for their tables in asking who has table such and such and letting them know what was needed. In my opinion this should have been the Manager on duty job. My hope is that this comment is read by the Manager and takes steps to improve. read more
