I've tried calling in to make a to go order between the hours of 5am to 5:45am because I'm a night owl and also work night shifts. But whenever I call I get answered for 5 seconds if that and immediately put on hold till the phone hangs up. Literally is this a joke or something? It's Memorial Day and I just had a burger and coffee here. Burger was fabulous. Service was fabulous. Would've given 5 stars except that the poor host had a never ending line of check payers so he didn't have opportunities to seat people. Manager was busy gossiping instead of watching the front. No one helped seat people which I know is not a common practice. Either need a better manager or hire a 2nd host so that they make sure your customers are being taken care if as they are coming and going. Otherwise, service was great and everyone was super friendly. They just ignored the front on a super busy day and left all up to one host while there was at least 1 manager and 6 - 8 servers and bussers. read more

Standard Denny's food. In my opinion the tastiest hash browns in town. However, service is terrible. Not the wait staff, but there must be something wrong with the kitchen. I have been here on several locations and waited 45 minutes or more to get our food after placing our order. This is unacceptable for a grill. Especially a family friendly establishment targeting kids in their marketing. Tough to keep kids excited about sitting in a booth for 45 minutes. read more

Breakfast is good. No question about it. Service is quick and friendly. Came here late at night for a bite to eat and it was like a totally different restaurant. Although it was not crowded and there were plenty of servers, the service was incredibly slow. We waited about 20 minutes before our order was taken. After a while we could see our order sitting under a heat lamp, ready to be brought to the table but our server was too busy chatting with who appeared to be the manager to bother. A couple of other servers looked at the ticket and rather than tell our server it was ready or bring it to our table themselves, just walked on. When the food finally did arrive it was cold and again, our server had wandered off to chat with some of the staff. As I said earlier, good place for breakfast but I would certainly not go there for a late night meal. read more

I called to make a to go order while staying at the hotel across the street... First off it took about 3 minutes for anyone to answer the phone, then the young male waiter who answer was snippy and impatient like I was wasting his time. He took my order as fast as he could and told me it'll be a few minutes. I go down about 15 minutes later and wait at the hostess station for about 5 minutes with no one even acknowledging I was there, no we'll be with you in a minute or anything. I get my food and the order is all wrong. The cheeseburger had no condiments, the cheese on the burger and grilled cheese was not melted at all and everything was cold. So im a waitress and this place is just down right awful. Our waiter was good. But the rest of the staff. SO RUDE. We waited about 40ish min for our food (the place was dead) granted there were 8 people at my table. The food was gross... we waited about 8 min for silverware. The lady we asked for silverware had the worst attitude about it. My friends waffle was burnt but he was so hungry he ate it anyways. The mozzarella sticks were soggy and the cheese in my quesidilla wasnt cooked all the way. When i went to the bathroom all the employees were sitting in a corner booth doing nothing but talking. There were no paper towels but there were a stack of picnic napkins. Ive never been so disgusted with a restraunt. They dont even deserve one star. Never ever will i be back. Steak skewer skillet was not that good barely had vegetables and the steak wasn't tender. Also watched the hostess help a server cut strawberries and they didn't use a Cutting board and didn't see them sanitize the counter surface first. I had dinner here with a group of girls on a Saturday evening, there were only a couple of other people in the restaurant. The service was slow, it took way too long to get our food. I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich, with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. The turkey sandwich was supposed to have avocado and Swiss cheese, but they were out of avocado and they forgot the cheese. The sandwich was grilled, it had a rancid oil taste. The soup was disappointing as well. A big fat thumbs down! read more

we went to denny's on saturday night with 8 of our family members i normally expect ok service and wasn't looking to have the best food .. but i was wrong from the time we walked into the place we were greeted promptly sat quickly and our waitress { randy i believe was her name } was at our beck and call until we left .. our drinks were full and our food was cooked to perfection and we even had a special request .. the staff was as friendly and all seemed to be in a great mood . i want to thank each and everyone of them from the kitchen to all the waitress's and even the management for such a great experience .. we will definitely be back.. the hall and mccarty family's read more

We visited Dennys in Tooele on Feb 11, 2017. It was about 7 PM. It took a while to be seated as our party was 4 adults and 4 kids. A party of 10 was also seated just before us. It took about 10 minutes to order our drinks. Our waitress was dealing with both large parties as well as other tables. Another waiter had one table, and that couple were getting very upset, as no one came to their table to even start their drink order until they flagged someone down. Our drink orders arrived and the waitress in her efforts to handle both large groups spilled the tray of drinks on one of our party. It took almost 10 minutes until the waiter showed up to assist in mopping the floor. He was clueless. We had to instruct him on how to mop the floor. Sad. Our waitress was embarrassed and apologized repeatedly. She was actually a good waitress just having a bad night. The manager visited our table and asked if she could bring us an appetizer and brought the kids some goldfish snacks. That's all she did. She didn't assist in refilling drinks or making sure all was good. She stood around talking with the hostesses. Two of the adults in our party had to go home to change clothes, and they got back before our food arrived. None of the adults were provided with silverware and napkins until we asked.
