The menu reflects the extra charges for dressing or sauces if you want it. The inside is the same as it was, nothing fancy inside. The waitresses all seemed helpful. We tried the chicken wings they were good. The baked spaghetti is almost $10 and you get a small plate and piece of garlic bread and a salad. I tried the ham & cheese sandwich. It was ok, .over all the food was better than we remembered from the last time we went. Ice tea was $3.00 a cup and they serve it in a Styrofoam cup. I think we might go back again and try something else or get some more wings. The blue cheese was good. Glad they are waiting on tables again.

The special comes with 2 pieces of boneless fried chicken breasts, 2 sides, and your choice of a roll or cornbread. However, if that is too much food and you don't want leftovers, you can ask for a 1 piece special as well, like I did tonight. I paired it with fried squash (with ranch), broccoli casserole, and a roll. The service is always great. They check on you and keep your beverage filled (for me that is a Jumbo unsweet tea). Sadly they are only open weekdays. But go check them out, they have different daily specials each day of the week.

The home fries were generously supplied and featured satisfying crispy edges. - I subbed the toast/biscuit for a single blueberry pancake which was large, scrumptious, and served with rich blueberry compote as well as warm maple syrup. - Definitely worth a return trip.

After spending a weekend in Hendersonville NC, my family and I decided to enjoy dinner at Golden…read moreCorral before embarking on our journey back home. Usually Golden Corral never disappoints my family because they have a huge selection on their buffet that everyone can enjoy. However this was not the case for our visit. When paying for our party of 6, the young gentleman at the counter kept saying that we had 7 buffets instead of 6. In addition, he told us drinks were a part of the meal, but never told my family they were an upcharge. Thankfully our party decided to have all waters. While walking to our table, I noticed that many of the menu items were empty or low. For example, the taco bar area had no food and the salad bar was extremely low. This made me a little nervous, but I kept an open mind. After being seated we were greeted with an extremely friendly waitress. She came back to the table often refilling our drinks and took our empty plates off the table. Although we had a wonderful waitress our visit did not go very well, which is why I am giving Golden Corral a low rating. During the whole visit no items on the buffet were refilled, which was appalling due to the high volume of customers enjoying dinner. They actually ran out of pizza, yams, baked potatoes, and taco bar items. The salad bar was completely depleted. In addition the food was extremely bland and not the same quality as other Golden Corrals that we have been too. Maybe Henderson had a rough night? But only having half of your buffet bar partially filled is appalling. On the other hand the restaurant was clean, with no visible dirt. The staff we encountered were friendly and our waitress was phenomenal. However, if our family was in the area again, we would probably try another restaurant in the area.
