It took an unbelievably long time for our party of five to get seated. The restaurant wasn't full, yet the staff seemed quite overwhelmed during our long wait. Once seated, things seemed to move more quickly, including ordering and the arrival of our drinks. Most of the food also showed up in a timely fashion, though one patron's plate showed up incomplete. It took two different prompts to staff members (once to our waitress, once to the manager checking on things) to get the order right. Most of the group found our selections to be fairly well prepared. I heard particularly good things about the pancakes and the "moons over my hammy." I went with the country fried steak and eggs, and I would rate my choice as just okay. The steak was tender but wasn't an especially large portion. My eggs were overcooked a bit, and I found the hash browns a bit harder in texture than I prefer. All of it was edible, and none of it tasted bad, but I wouldn't order it again. We don't have a lot of Denny's locations in my area, but their franchises are usually solid performers based on my previous visits. This one didn't measure up, I'm afraid. read more

I returned to this location after having one of the worst experiences I'd ever had with a restaurant. The second and third visits have been MUCH BETTER! A large part of my experience on my first visit centered around poor service. On my subsequent visits the service has been excellent and the food was great. I also ordered a side of chicken stars, and they came out with extra diddyblud when I specifically asked for phonk sauce. This Denny's location has many great employees and Lili and Ashley L. are some of the best. The decorations are a beautiful personal touch and I thought Ashley did an awesome job on them. The other day we also had a wonderful server named Amelia/Mia. This is one of the few places around that's open for Christmas dinner. We got here before 6pm so we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated, instead of the usual 2-hr wait during the Christmas dinner rush. My food came out quickly since I only ordered a salad and dessert, but my husband waited 40 minutes on his order of the featured steak combo to come out before being told that they were out of the chicken tenders it was supposed to come with (and they were out of fries, too). read more

Food is great, but the service is slower than Christmas. There aren't enough employees to cover the shifts most of the time and you better be ready to sit for at least an hour for your food. It's been this way for years sadly. The employees that do work there have confidential conversations in front of everyone, which I feel is unprofessional. read more

Man has Denny's quality gone downhill. My wife and I ordered the skillets and my daughter ordered the Red White and Blue pancakes. The food on the menu looks so plentiful and delicious, but the actual food looks nothing like the menu. Over cooked potatoes that stuck to the skillet, eggs were runny and toast came cold. The pancakes that had blueberries in them, were so undercooked they had the uncooked batter in the middle. I wonder what the profit margin is on coffee? $2.19? The manager took off the pancake breakfast but bill still came to $23 for two entrées and two coffees.Unfortunatly, the only other options in this area on Sunday is Waffle House(Grease) or Carolina Café, but was closed today for the holiday. And BTW, there was a minor drip coming from ceiling onto carpet next to us at nearby table. Brought it to manager's attention. He said Thank You, that's why we're not sitting anyone there. I work a third shift job. Ordered from this place almost every night. Last night I ordered chocolate chip pancakes with bacon and a burger for my coworker. The burger was RAW. Not only were my pancakes cold, the chocolate chips were PILED on top. Enough to send a diabetic into a coma. Half of my bacon was not cooked properly. Tonight I ordered chocolate pancakes again. The pancakes were great. Instead of the bacon I asked for, I was served sausage which was also raw through the middle. My mac n cheese was cold. Not lukewarm. Not room temperature. Cold. I will not ever eat or order anything from this restaurant again. Two nights in a row that I've had complaints about my food. If I get food poisoning, I'm suing. read more
