My family and I have been here several times. Every time we have had bad service or service that we had to wait longer than 20 min as in tonight, which we finally got up and walked out. We won't be back again. We just drove to the Dennys at Pacific Ave and Hwy. 512 It was worth the drive! Offered a booth instead of forced to use a table. Then served immediately. .. how nice. read more

My family has bought many takeout meals from this Denny's and too often something has been missing from a meal. When this happens I immediately call and they offer to correct the problem either right away or the next time we come in. Because we have called way too many times with a meal discrepancy the manager has suggested that we no longer do takeout with them because it seems I am never satisfied with them. Really? Because her employees from the cook to the waitress make an error with our meal - again - I should not do takeout business with them? Blaming me for their mistakes? One time our cheese quesadilla came with no toppings. They replaced it and only received part of the toppings so they had to replace that. Just recently I ordered the senior scrambled eggs and cheddar breakfast. Got it home, no bacon. I called and explained to the waitress and she said it does not come with bacon. I said I am looking right at an online menu and it says bacon so she looked at their menu and said I was right. So we collected on the missing two pieces of bacon at a later date. And when we did once again the manager suggested we do not do takeout with them because we are never satisfied. Hello - never satisfied with incomplete meals. I have never complained about the taste of the food because it is delicious - just with the frequent incomplete meals that the cook/waitress cannot seem to get right. They have a policy that before a customer leaves with the takeout, the waitress will go over the order with them. Mistakes should be caught by the employee and the blame put on them not on us like the manager is doing. When I place an order for takeout and someone else picks it up for me, it is not my helpers place to check and make sure every little item is there by opening up all the containers. It is the responsibility of the employees, the Denny's workers to get the order right the first time. read more

Love the food and the service. Recommend breakfast over everything, definitely the best! Staff is always friendly and I really enjoy my experience there read more

I decided to leave my review after several times of being repeatedly disappointed in this peticular Dennys. My fiance and I have gone here late at night a few separate times due to our work schedule (between the hours of 11 pm and 1 am). The hostess is always very rude and impersonal. She never smiles, just seats you and drops the coffee cups down as if she is being bothered. At first we thought maybe she just having a bad day. .we all have them..but again when we have gone there, she has the same attitude. We never have anyone come check on us and NEVER EVER get our coffee cups refilled. (and at $2.25 for a cup of coffee no refills is rediculous.) Tables and floor were dirty while employees stood around talking. We have come to the conclusion that we won't be going back again. The service is simply awful. read more

Great food and services, we always call the food ready by time we get there, my wife and kids love the country fried chicken dinner. That's all we ever get read more

Breakfast this morning. Seemed ok. Typical Denny's quality which is mediocre but I expect that and nothing to say in that regard. However, tonight I'm doubled over in pain and steady diarrhea. Process of elimination allowed it was from this restaurant. Be careful. read more

If it let me give them 0 stars I would have today. I've been to this Denny's before and the service by certain individuals has always been great. I always take my kids out to eat for their birthday and today we took the whole family for my wife's birthday. I knew they did free food for my kids for their birthdays, but didn't assume the same was true for my wife, but as she was ordering a dinner item, the waitress said that she could get a slam for free since it was her birthday. It wasn't exactly what she wanted, but we're not going to pass up a free meal either. We ate our meal and when I went to pay they asked for her ID - well she hadn't driven and I was buying so she hadn't brought it. The lady, who I'm assuming was in charge because she didn't look to anyone else she just stuck to her guns that no ID, no free meal. When I tried to explain that the waitress never said anything about it and that it wasn't even what my wife really wanted, she couldn't have cared less. I work and teach customer service, she didn't look for options or take our word at all. I get policies, but when one of your employees doesn't do what they are supposed to do, such as tell you you'll have to provide ID and we rely on the information we're given to our determent, then you swallow the bullet and teach your staff. Very poor service Denny's. I rarely write bad reviews because I get that everyone has bad days, but if I had time to picket this one I would. I feel bad for my wife because I was pissy about it all the way home, not a fun way to spend 20 min. on her 30th birthday I know Christina was my server, but I didn't catch the name of the "woman with no soul." read more

O.K., I normally would never write a review for such a large "fast food" chain as Denny's. But this store is a fairly new restaurant just recently built and deserves some insight. First off, this restaurant was built on a previously owned restaurant site. A restaurant named America had some really great breakfast food and I was surprised that it went under (Especially surprised, given the high volume of traffic across the street at Wal-Mart and the lack of dining options on Mountain Highway). Nevertheless....Every now and then on weekends, after I take the dog for his walk of course, I crave a big breakfast but I am too lazy too cook it. On this particular day, I went in to sample a breakfast skillet. But after looking over the many breakfast options I decided to go with the avocado and bacon breakfast burrito with hash browns on the side that I intentionally ordered with a lot of gravy. For a Denny's, this meal was exceptionally better quality than I expected. The burrito was absolutely perfect, fresh and delicious! The hash browns and gravy (along with copious amounts of ketchup!) was extremely good. The waitress was kind of "clingy" and annoying...but not too annoying (Perhaps she thought that I was a regular and jabs are the "thing" here). The food came quick and I had no issues with the service. I like the fact that since this place is new, clean and also has large plasma T.V. screens to enjoy sports, news or cartoons! BONUS: I think this place even sells beer! I left this place very full and happy! read more

The facility was nice and clean. The young man up front, Zach was as sweet as pie and very helpful, I even tipped him because he was so helpful. However the service was absolutely horrible. It's hard to enjoy a meal when you go out, even if the food is good, when the service is so bad. We came in at 620, we were seated right away by the young man at the front. It took 10 minutes for us to even get a drink order in, another 20 minutes for our food order to be placed. We noticed 30 minutes later that the family of 3 that cam in after us had gotten their food, we only had 3 people with us too so this didn't make much sense. 10 minutes after we noticed and we're commenting to one another on this fact our food finally arrived and the waitress finally started paying attention to us and being "sweet". We had been ignored, aside from the drink and dinner order, up until this point. I'm sad to say that I won't be returning because there really isn't much to offer as far as small diners where we live and even this Dennys is a 20 minute drive from our home. I'm sadly disappointed and the only reason there is a single star is because of our host up front. Good job Zach, you will go places in customer service with your post I've energy. read more

The hostess and our waitress were nice, but it's been a good half hour and our food hasn't come out yet. The place isn't that busy either. Kind of early for a review, but man I'm starving and this is taking way too long for a Denny's. Let's just hope the food turns out okay... read more

Pretty great place for a Denny's but when things start to get busy they overload their waitresses to the point of self destruction. They need more front of the house staff, but the food's perfectly fine. read more

hey I know dennys? a review? wtf! But really, I was impressed. Its been years since I was hungry at 4 am and decided to hit dennys, and here's how it went. The wife and I split a lumber jack breakfast. basically a little of everything. So we leave both full of pretty decent food but there's the big news. The cost was less than if we decided to go to jack in the box. about $6 each for a good sit down breakfast. read more
