This has got to be the worst customer service I've ever received. When I arrived to place my carryout order it was 1:30 pm on a weekday. There were 4 tables with patron at them with parties of 3-4 people & 2 patrons in the bar. I was given a menu & patiently waited for 25 minutes before I was acknowledged again. Once assisted by a different employee they took my order incorrectly. I caught the mistake & tried to inform the employee who then took the receipt tossed it at me & walked away. Another employee came & helped me who happened to be the ONLY person with customer service skills. Once my order sat for 10 minutes after being done the young lady working at the register brings my food. As I checked the bag I informed her that my dessert was missing. After telling me I was wrong I showed her the receipt & the contents of the bag. She then replied with,"Ugh" turned around & began to prepare my dessert which came with ice cream. As I noticed she didn't wash her hands & proceeded to prepare my food I tried to get her attention. Although she turned & looked at me she rolled her eyes & ignored me. When she brought the food I asked her to please remake it as I noticed she didn't wash her hands nor had on gloves. She responded with,"she didn't have to." Then told me to,"hold on" while she got her manager. As I again waited patiently there were 3 customers in line as well waiting to pay to had witnessed everything & told me how well I was handling the situation & that they noticed how rude & nasty she was being to me from the moment I walked in. When she finally returned she properly prepared my dessert & took my payment. While taking my payment she began to say things & spoke in a manner that NOBODY should EVER speak to a customer. One of the other patrons had to intervene & told her how they've witnessed the difference in the manner she treated me versus everyone else. By the time I left it was 3:45 & my food was cold. This is just the footnotes version of all that transpired. Long story short...I will NEVER return to this Denny's EVER again. If there was an award for the worst customer service they'd get it hands down! read more

I can't believe I'm giving a Denny's a 5 star review but this has by far been the best breakfast I've had in year s at any Denny's. My friends missed their flight so we stopped by for some food since it was 4 more hours until the next one. Our server was Lisa. Friendly and Hilarious. Even though she said they had everything on the menu, I ordered the 1 thing they didn't have on the 7 page menu. Oh wells... I'll survive and and get something else... She kept coming back and checking on us and making sure our coffees were always filled. The food was actually pretty good. It was a little slower in the restaurant so maybe the cooks had more time to make our food? The food came out quick too. The food was good but that wasn't what made our evening. Our server, Zachary, was absolutely incredible and hilarious as were the other servers in our area. We were initially hesitant about eating at a Denny's but Zachary was wonderful. We've eaten at several higher, finer dining locations but Zachary is certainly on par with attentiveness and amiability. read more

Worst service ever. No hostess, no bus person so waitstaff had to take away from their work to do it. Wait staff very apathetic & slow. Unless you are very patient and have lots of time... avoid this place. Managment definitely needs to train staff & set up systems for more efficiency. read more

A bit better than my last denny's experience that's for sure. New management is always a great thing. And by far MUCH better than the Denny's that is about 8-10 blocks or less blocks away. I can't seem to give anything higher due to the long lines that are associated again. read more

Typical Denny's... nothing to special to write about. But, you get what you expect: A nice decent meal that is extremely affordable. Also, the operating hours beat almost anything in the near vicinity. If you're hungry early morning or late at night, stop by this Denny's the employees are extremely kind. Side Note: If you're there drinking late, make sure to finish your drink by 2am or they will take it from you! read more

came here from a hotel nearby as a last resort dinner option. much regret. not the best area, waitress took fifteen minutes to come back each time and said the system shut down and caused the delay (yeah right), was initially charged for asking them not to bring pancakes with the meal. didn't know that asking for less meant paying more, but they did cancel my drink to offset it. the waitress blamed the manager, saying he wasn't being a manager and wouldn't void it so she went out of her way to cancel the drink to make it right. she was tabling for the whole section and was clearly overwhelmed while another waitress had two tables, it shouldn't be hard to shift tables. the other tables in the section also had long waits and mistakes on the receipts. the food was good and i got what i asked for. might be better in daylight. flying out in the morning and won't be back. read more

Horrible experience over all, we stopped by Denny's after a long day at work, we ordered 2 cokes and 2 waters and my friend asked if they were serving beer and the waitress Janet said yes but not any mix drinks which it was fine because he only wanted a nice cold beer she proceeds to ask for his ID, no problem my friend takes out his ID and gives it to her keep in mind we're from California his birthdate was fine he is 22 years old even the ID confirms that but suddenly Janet says that they don't take vertical IDs that they only take horizontal Form IDs, We have never heard of such thing, we have eaten and drank alcoholic beverages at the same Denny's before with tony serving us and even the manager has served us mimosas before it just doesn't make sense, We asked if it was a Washington state law and Janet responded yes that it was which we thought it was nuts because my friend has used the same ID everywhere bars, airport, clubs etc it just didn't make sense to us! At the end we were bummed out disappointed and decided to leave the restaurant horrible customer service, no wonder this restaurant has poor ratings. Please save yourself some money or go somewhere else, food it's not that great to be completely honest! read more

This was the first Denny's I'd been to in years. The service was amazing. The server was really engaged in getting everyone's order. It was late so I really just wanted my food. They put on a good show, it looked like he did that with every table because it seemed pretty scripted. Anyways, amazing service, and great food! They did mess up my brothers order and had to make it again, which took another ten minutes, but all was good. I would definitely go back again! read more

Dennys is always a good place to go in a pinch, even though the food is subpar. However this Dennys is special, they have Mr. Tony. Mr. Tony made my visit to this Dennys memorable, fun, and the reason I would return to this Dennys. He was attentive without being intrusive, and exact in getting our orders perfect. The food was good, but still the same subpar food you eat at Dennys, but the service was wonderful and Mr. Tony made our day fun. Sometimes you have wait staff that you can't wait to forget, but once in a while you are fortunate enough to meet someone who can put a smile on your face and keep you happy (while you eat subpar food). read more

I don't know if this Denny's is just really good or if the whole chain has upped its game. I had hazelnut and banana crepes and they were delicious. Food is typical Denny's fare. Nothing unexpected here. The service isn't what it should be. When a customer orders coffee, it is expected that the cup will stay full. Being offered a refill only after you've finished your breakfast is unacceptable. read more

Denny's. It is what it is. But for what it is - in this case the closest restaurant to my hotel where I can grab a quick meal after a long day of traveling,this one is good. Why can I not give zero stars? Wife's flight was late and we just wanted food. Denny's should be a safe choice. I don't expect a lot out of them. We sat in "Tony's" area. Tony was funny and tried to make people have fun. That was great at first. We placed our order, waited and waited and waited. 3 booths filled up after we place a simple breakfast order after 8PM. All three booths got their food well before we did. Burgers and all kinds of meals in front of simple breakfast food. Finally, and I say that because we were relieved we had food, we get our meals. I ordered a slam with ham, hash browns, over easy eggs and wheat toast. He sets the plate down and I stick my fork in the over hard eggs. Tony says he will go get me the eggs I ordered but only after I mentioned it. In the meantime, my wife is now waiting for the syrup for her french toast. Ends up that her french toast is cold and done with stale bread. Tony does notice her displeasure and brings her a new order. We spent well over an hour there and if you have been to Denny's you know that isn't normal. I only got one coffee refill after making sure Tony heard me ask for it. When he delivered anything to someone in the dining area, he didn't look around to see if anyone needed anything else. First time in many years that I did not leave a tip. read more

I was seated by a very nice waitress as soon as I walked in the door. The place looked clean and overall had a nice atmosphere. Good service continued through the rest of my visit by my very nice waitress. The steak skewer & eggs was very nice. The food was not overly salty; it was just right in that regard. The one thing was that the food did take a while to come out even though the restaurant was not very full. The bathrooms were decently clean. I think you have to ask for the wifi password. read more

I've eaten here while staying at the LaQuinta on the same block. The free breakfast at LaQuinta is meaningless. Denny's offers a decent value in their Grand Slam product. I usually get eggs, oats, bacon, hash browns, and coffee for under $10. The service is usually average but kind; the coffee is always atrocious (especially considering that this is Seattle!). I hadn't been to Denny's in over 10 years, since they served me a burger on a dirty crusted plate full of egg yoke. I walked into this Denny's after midnight to get a very much needed bite to eat. I waited for a waiter to seat me but nobody ever did. I couldn't believe it... I was standing there for about 10 minutes, then I sat in the front cafe/bar style seating area for another 10 minutes. Had breakfast here on a recent business trip. Has been forever since I ate at a Denny's. Was worried when i walked in about not liking the food. But the food was good! I could wish for a higher grade of coffee, but what they had was what I had expected for the type of restaurant. A pleasant surprise was the availability of turkey-bacon as a breakfast-meat option. Went here multiple times during a weekend event at the Double Tree across the street. The highlights are not the food, lets face it: it's a typical Denny's menu. Aside from the food, the wait staff were the reason this place earns four stars in my book: Tony "Done, bam!" and Michael were both entertaining. This location does seem a bit understaffed, as we waited for a table and with as many large groups as there were besides ours (the place was packed), it seemed there would normally be at least one more person on shift. read more

We stayed across the street at DoubleTree Hilton and went to lobby at Seaports, but the server's attitude about moving a seat over I didn't care much for, so we crossed St to have some breakfast instead at Dennys. The coffee was marginal, the food was fast and good, but the place needs to be closed for a really good cleaning. The carpets need to be thoroughly shampooed or replaced entirely. The menus need to be wiped down, and the rug sweeper should be stored out of sight instead of leaning up against a booth. read more
