Went for my birthday. The food was great and the waitress was amazing! They were able to fulfill all of my requests. We asked for a booth away from other patrons, and they were happy to meet our accommodations. I told the waitress that I hadn't had a chance to explore the San Dimas area much yet, and she gave me some great recommendations for local entertainment and I had a blast for my birthday! Worst Dennys restaurant hands down. My Granddaughter took me to breakfast, wasn't full or really busy. Food took forever and when it did come, the hash browns were raw, when the manager did his rounds when we where almost done, I let him know, all he wanted to do was make me a new one, at that point we were already done, and didn't want to wait any longer the we already had to. horrible service me and my partner came here one night about 1 AM ready to eat as we get seated , The old lady already has an attitude. My partner has hard of hearing and can't hear from his right ear, so I was talking into his left ear when the old lady came back to take our order she told us not to be kissing and that it's a public area and there's kids that come around. all because he had his head turned so he could hear me. I think that was very disrespectful for her to make that assumption and be so rude about it even when I was trying to explain to her, she kept insisting that there's kids that come around. The manager and staff were incredibly rude and discriminated against me because of my service dog. When the manager asked for certification, I explained my dog's training and the ADA law, which doesn't require certification. He rudely dismissed my explanation and denied us service. My daughter and I came to this location for dinner one evening and as we were eating we could hear the waitress and another lady talking loudly about gay people . So I decided that I would have lunch with some of my old coworkers, and we met clear out at this Denny's location on a Friday. We were seated quickly. Initially we sat at a booth, but we decided a table would work best for us to get in and out of the chairs and they accommodated us no problem. Susan, our server came over very quickly with a smile on her face that I could see under her mask. She had bright, bluish, green eyes, and a very good personality. It took us some time to figure out what we wanted to order because we were busy talking to each other which was no problem. In fact, Susan said take your time we're open 24 hours. Ha ha ha! I decided on the chorizo skillet but I substituted turkey bacon in order to avoid eating any pork. Susan recommended that we try the pumpkin pecan pancakes that are only available during this time of year and I gladly agreed. The food did take a little while to come out of the kitchen because we had two skillets but it was nice and hot and made exactly as ordered. Susan then brought out the pecan pumpkin pie pancakes with a slight drizzle of the pecan sauce and boy was it good! I want to commend J. Real, as a server and all-around great guy at this Denny's. He's a REALLY HARD worker,but has a sense of humor and anticipates your needs and wants. He has a "can do attitude" and that is becoming hard to find these days, IMO. I tried the breakfast bowl which reminded me alot of the KFC Famous Bowl, with all the good stuff cut up and ready for you to snarf: a big biscuit, eggs, hollandaise sauce, fried chicken bits and I tossed salsa on there and a couple of smokey links.
