I had a dentist appointment early this morning and decided to satisfy a craving for stuffed French toast before heading into work for the day. I was greeted politely when I entered. The hostess was handling a phone order so I used that opportunity to run to the restroom. The restrooms were fairly clean with maybe one gross stall. I was seated pretty quickly. The restaurant definitely wasn't super busy being a Thursday morning, but there were about 8-10 tables split between two waitresses. The booths could have used a quick wipe down with a disinfecting rag for the splattered grease stains on the seats but that's to be expected for the establishment. I started off with a water as I browsed the menu. A lot of restaurants are on the "dirty" drink trend so I was interested to see if Denny's was riding the wave (they aren't yet lol) but I did see a Mocha Cold Brew that caught my eye. My waitress initially told me they no longer had the supplies for it but quickly retracted and let me know she could accommodate me. Loved that! As planned I went with the stuffed French toast slam (eggs scrambled with cheese, bacon and sausage). Wait time was reasonable (I was able to get two reviews out my drafts lol). Portion size was more than enough. The bacon and sausage were both cooked perfectly. The eggs were good with the right amount of cheese. The filling to the stuffed French toast was super yummy and I enjoyed the quality of the bread used. I am looking forward to returning to try some of the new appetizers and lunch items on their menu. read more

Got a free slam as a birthday gift however in order to redeem it,I have to eat in. I don't eat in at restaurants anymore due to my being handicapped. I ordered through the app and paid for it on the app Had it picked up to eat at home. Got a slam that included a biscuit and sausage gravy,2 eggs & 2 pieces of breakfast sausage. I added a side of hashbrowns. The biscuit appeared to be fresh but the sausage gravy was white gravy with a piece of sausage chopped up into it. No flavor. The eggs were over easy which were ok. The sausage was overcooked and slightly burned. The side of hashbrowns were under cooked. All in all this Denny's isn't what it used to be and the fact that the very few patrons present in the restaurant is a testament to that fact. read more

I love the food and here and everything, I think it's the most delicious and I always come, but today I went with a friend to eat, and we were attended by a brunette girl, not very young and apparently she was wearing blue contact lenses, she was rude, we were friendly and she was serious, normally to be a waitress one must go with energy, serve customers well and not be rude. read more

I ordered 2 breakfasts delivered today. I got bacon that was raw maybe cooked for 1 minute, barely cooked red skin potatoes. Im done, it seems that if you do a delivery order they barely cook it since you're not there to complain. If I was able to walk which I barely can I would have cooked my own. Food is gonna taste great but your order will consistently be wrong. If you use delivery keep it simple and be prepared for them to forget your extra side of eggs/turkey bacon/toast/etc. Then they tell you you have to contact a random customer service to get your money but they won't work. Just know you're going to lose that extra $2-$5 that you paid for the extra item. If you go pick it up yourself, be prepared to wait longer than promised and make sure you check your order. read more

We gave this Denny's another chance after having a bad experience the first time 7 months ago. Our waitress, Daniella, was the same waitress we had last time. Both times she was incredibly rude. We had our kids with us and as one of them was ordering his drink she literally spoke over him and asked me if they were all getting water, which they were not. When she brought out the drink order it was almost all wrong. I always order our kids' food, then let my husband order, then I go last. When my husband finished ordering his, this woman points at me and asked my husband "and what does she want?" To which he replied "I don't know, she can order for herself." It was the weirdest, rudest thing and we had a similar experience with her last time. I don't know if she has a problem with kids or large families or maybe just dislikes her job, but we will not be returning because we refuse to be treated so poorly. read more

I've lived in Royal Palm Beach 8 years, and never had a bad experience at Denny's. Tonite was exceptional and I must share it. My server was Laura and she was working the whole restaurant alone. She never stopped. All seats were taken in the main area. She kept me apprised on the status of my order, apologizing for how long it was taking. I told her not to worry, I don't have to cook tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner off the over 55 menu; salmon, mashed potatoes and salad. You must give this restaurant a try. Walked in and the hostess seemed annoyed to get off her phone and seat us, or rather tell us "go ahead" and motioned to the seating area. For a nearly empty restaurant there was a surprising amount of dirty tables that we had to walk past to find a clean one in the back. We walked past the kitchen (our 8-year old with us) and the cook dropped an F-bomb. Lovely. The hostess gave a pissy look because of the additional steps she had to take for us to find a decent table. (Note: there were a couple clean ones we walked past but the booths had cracking materials and looked gross to sit on). After seating is, the hostess said she would be right back (apparently she is the server too). If this is the person serving us food, that's a hard pass. We got up and left for another establishment. They have a "now hiring" sign in the door, and have had it for months. Clearly they need to clean house and probably pay decent wages to get staff that isn't unbearable. Poor management is likely the cause. We won't be back until then. It's a shame because we have had good experiences here in the past, but they have gone downhill a year ago and continue to stay at the bottom of the barrel. read more

The food was just how I ordered. My waiter was terrific. Lola, I believe the supervisor was great. She was walking through the dining room greeting people. The order for the couple was delayed. The gentleman was starting to get mad. Lola stopped by the table and spoke with the couple. She brought the waiter with her when she spoke with them.
