So let me start off by saying I live 20 miles from this location, it was a long day and it was midnight, I was with a friend and we were both craving Denny's. So we looked up the closest location which was the Norco location supposedly open 24 hours, it wasn't. But the craving was still there, so we went to the next closest which was this location on foothill blvd, upon arriving we were greeted by THEE best waiter I've ever had. His name was Yoshi, he seated us in seconds and was extremely attentive, he was also super accommodating, since our orders were very bizarre. We've gone for 3 months in a row every single Monday night at around 12:30 AM. We go for the great service from Yoshi, the great environment from staff, and the great food that comes within 5 minutes. 12/10 would recommend eating here! read more

When I walked in to pick up my order the lady was very rude and giving me attitude. When I came home my food was cold and my salad was warm, you can tell the food was left out/ old. And the fries weren't even cooked properly, they tasted microwaved and some weren't even cooked all the way. Also, the mashed potatoes were very sour. They tasted almost rotten. This was very disappointing. And I live right across the street so it wasn't the drive home that caused my food to lose temp. I live fairly close to this location and decided to order to go and walk there to pick it up. Ordering was simple and the man taking my order seemed to have gotten it all correct so i was quite satisfied, as soon as i walked in the door. it went all down hill. My order was: A Classic Burger w/ American Cheese and seasoned fries, Baja Quesadilla burger, Regular pancake puppies, a Vanilla iced Coffee and a side of ranch. Upon entering, the host, not even paying attention called me Sir.. The quesadilla burger was cold, the lettuce in the classic burger was browning. they gave me regular fries instead of seasoned, icing instead of ranch, and the pancake puppies were not only completely wrong (they gave me blueberry) but they were molding... This is the Denny's that is never busy at night, because it's not by any major freeway. So there's a tip. When you are driving home a bit buzzed and you happen to be in Riverside, head here for bright lights but less stares! I always get good service here, with my drinks refilled and condiments brought to me soon after I ask. The servers are always pleasant and despite getting slurred orders for oatmeal and ice cream at 2 in the morning, they even come off cheerful! Parking is good too since it shares a parking lot with Home Depot, Burger King (Pfffft!) and the local 99 Cent Store. And there's not usually a lot of people at any of those places. At least in my experience. Food is pretty standard. Don't get the steak. Get the eggs. Don't get the cheesecake. Get the apple pie, a la mode. Ask them to heat the pie up first, too! Strolled at 12:30pm on Sunday afternoon and the place was hopping. 30 minute wait at least. Luckily there were two seats at the bar, no waiting gor us. Betty was our girl and she was awesome. Very attentive and a hustler. They all are. They cleared their waiting list twice by the time we ordered until the time we paid. Food was made quickly piping hot, fresh, and delicious. Where do I start? I decided to head to the local Denny's for some Moons over my hammy and a strawberry lemonade. When I arrived I noticed it almost looked abandoned. I walked in after I saw people inside and there was only one table with customers. I asked for a strawberry lemonade and the server informed us that they had just switched out the strawberry and that customers were complaining about the taste, so I opted for a Coke instead. After looking through the menu I was set on the appetizer platter with chicken wings, mozzarella sticks and the server mentioned that they were out on both so I decided on another appetizer and she again warned me that several customers complained about the fully loaded tater tots. After placing our order we waited about 10 mins for the food then it came out. My food was not good at all, the eggs in my moons over my hammy were soggy. Not once did the server come back to check on our table even though we wanted refills. Terrible experience. Never coming to this location again. I'll wait for Norms to open up. read more

Once we came in, I could tell that the employees were running around like headless chickens, because they'd look at you, they'd go elsewhere, they'd come back, look at you, say hi, go elsewhere, come back, tell another waitress next to them to ask us how many there were in our party, etc...but the thing was, they were just running behind the bar, not doing much (well, that's a lie: a waitress and busboy were flirting deliriously, another waitress kept calling a cook by his name and flipping him off in front of the costumers, the manager was nose-deep in prom kids, and the one other guy working there was actually bussing...) From the get-go, there were huge lines to pay, and it seemed like everyone had a problem with their bill, so I hoped we wouldn't. When we were finally sat, I liked that our young waitress asked us for drinks right off the bat, so I thought we might be getting rushed service, but it's a lot better than no service...but I digress. We ordered a sandwich and a breakfast burrito. I like to order the burrito because it's tasty, so I wasn't expecting bad stuff...the food took a little while, normal, but the bf wanted coffee and we could not flag our girl to save our lives...hands raised, looking around, the manager was right there, nothing...she finally comes, get the coffee, gets our food, and because I have amazing luck, the inside of my burrito is frozen solid, while the tortilla and fries are burning. Great. We try flagging her down again, I tell her this, she apologizes and says she will get me a new one...2 minutes later, she brings it back, super microwaved to the point where the tortilla cannot be cut with a knife, the avocado is crumbly, and the egg is drier than toast. Yay. I tried eating it, as I was hungry, but there was a taste to it (besides the gross, crumbly avocado and egg) that I could not handle, because it tasted chemicall-y, so I didn't finish it. Took my sister here to celebrate her getting awards that day, and the breakfast was good, took them awhile to take our order and for the food to come out but our waitress made sure we were great. Everything was going good until it came time to pay the bill. There credit card machine was down for about 15 mins, so we sat at our table finishing our drinks until it was clear and as soon as we got up to pay the machine went down again, stood by the counter for 15/20 mins again. We sat down and realized that this is not the business that we should be supporting, so we left. The second I walked through the door I was greeted with judgment and bullying. Stopped by for breakfast. We had a great waitress by the name of Beatrice. She was great. Got order correct,order was placed & out quickly. The food was very good. There's been so many issues with this location. This is the 3rd time I've gone and there's an issue. I've gone and they've informed me all 3x that there's a 45+ minute wait because they're/or just the cook is on break. Yesterday I went with my brother to feed him after picking him up from a movie and when we arrived at 11:45pm they said they weren't serving for an hour and some. We said we would wait. We put our name down and waited the whole hour in the parking lot. We finally got down at 1:10AM only to be told from a lady that they weren't serving until 2AM because they're food was FROZEN. She apologized on the young mans behalf for giving false information and advised how he was new- she also said "we would have told you but I had to run home real quick. I know I should have been here. I would love to serve you guys but I don't have any food that's not frozen at the moment." Waiting a whole hour and a half just to be told at the end that they don't have unfrozen food is ridiculous. This is not the only time it's always something - we can legit be told "we're not seating until we can take the order of this big party we have" only to be seated and see that it's a party of 5 and they're the only customers in the whole restaurant. I've seen so many people leave this location because of the 'seating' wait time or yesterday's "frozen food" scenario. So much money being missed out because of lack of communication and short staff. read more

I hate writing bad reviews, but the service wasn't that great. We had about a 15min wait. When we were seated we got our drinks pretty fast, but after we ordered our food the wait was long. My husband ordered a burger with an over easy egg and a waffle on the side. When his meal came out, his burger has a scrambled egg and they forgot about his waffle. They brought his waffle out so late we had to take it to go because my kids were already done with their food. When they took our dishes my son still had a full drink of lemonade and wasn't done drinking it, but the guy ended up just taking it. I don't think they have enough waitresses because it wasn't even that busy and they couldn't get to all the people in a timely manner. If you are reading this, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT waste your time eating here. As I walked in I noticed people waiting while the restaurant had available tables. The host asked for my name to put me on a waiting list, while again having open tables. I asked him, what are you putting my name down for when you have tables? He replied oh there's a waiting list for booths, I addressed the fact that more than half the restaurant had open tables, so where are we sitting? He proceeded to sit my daughter and I down with menus but no eating utensils. When the food was brought out after taking our order I had to ask a couple times for a spoon and fork to eat so they provided plastic utensils because apparently they didn't have any clean silverware. Cleaning department needs retraining on cleaning efficiency because when I finished my coffee it was not a good thing to see how dirty the cup was and a piece of something floating around the bottom. I've had some pretty bad experiences here but not like today. Always giving another chance but this is it. No more. Especially when the Manager on duty comes out the back looking like he just woke up from a nap, looks around and went right back. Unbelievable and very unprofessional.
