The food was good, but the server made our experience horrible. He was disoriented, careless and unprofessional. We didn't get our drinks until 25 minutes after we were seated, and asked us if we wanted food like it was an afterthought. When we told him what we wanted, he didn't have a pen and paper and just rushed to the back right after we were done ordering. Two minutes later, he came back out and asked us to confirm how we wanted our eggs (he was wrong both times). While we were waiting, he sat down at a table behind us and started complaining to the guests seated there about how he hates his job, and that 'after a year of doing service, I still can't get used to talking to customers'. When we were done, another server cleared our table and he came by five minutes later to drop off the check without saying anything. If I were a hostess here and my sworn enemy came through the door, I'd send them to Shedquantae B.'s section read more

They keep the thermostat at 66°, yes i checked it's and it's 75° outside so I was dressed for summer. First went out to car and got a sweat shirt, then went back and got a blanket because we had already ordered food. kind complaints were met with no respon by manager. Last week I went to eat with my family and a young woman took our order, she was very friendly and was very helpful, we went there again to eat last Sunday and it was poorly staffed this time, the waitress seemed busy and didn't bother to ask if we needed refills. read more

Very poorly managed restaurant, it's a wonder they can keep employees especially when the 2025 holiday schedule was not posted and kept changing. It would be nice if employees could make plans with their families for the holiday! Hard working people who are not treated with respect. Underpaid and underappreciated. Sad Isn't there a labor law that an employee's schedule must be posted 2 weeks in advance? read more

Food was kinda gross and waiter forgot to give us a box also there was something green sticking to my plate.

Sarah is an excellent server. Always right there with our coffee. The food is amazing . The whole Denny's team is friendly and care about their jobs. Rory is funny and friendly it's always a pleasure Thanks. read more

Had lunch here with my son. Our waitress was wonderful. She greeted us with a smile, and was very attentive to us during our lunch. The burger and fries were so delicious, and fresh. The cook did a great job with the food. The Waitress name is Theresa H. We are definitely going to come back, and personally ask for her service again. read more

First time going back since pandemic. Food was delicious. Everything came out nice and hot. But could definitely tell understaffed.

The food was terrible and cold as a upcoming food critic I would not recommend this place have very little selection and staff was more busy watching the crowds then cooking or cleaning read more

Denny's - Pancakes or asscake ?!? U tell me - Diners Near Me - Racine, Wisconsin

It was a rainy Monday morning and went here for brunch. It's quite accessible and parking is ok. We were able to get a table right away. I liked the food, got myself a fit slam I think is what it's called: egg whites with spinach, fresh fruit, biscuits and turkey bacon. Our wait staff attentively checked on our coffee for refills. However towards the end the wait staff wasnt quite easy to locate, not sure if they were understaffed. We had to wait a few minutes to get water and our bill. read more

I come here very frequently, have for years. I repeatedly called for over 10min for a to go order. I googled, you were open. Drove here calling the entire time. Get here, your phone is on silent. I'm told there is no manager, no supervisor, nobody for me to talk to. I've been in the service industry for over 13 years. It is absolutely ridiculous that there is nobody to talk to me about your phone being on silent. I've never had a problem in the past where I needed to talk to somebody. I love you guys, so I'll give you a 5 anyways, since this is the first time. My food has never been messed up, service has always been great ecspecially considering how busy and under staffed you usually are. I think very highly of this Denny's, and this is such a great disappointment that there is nobody around to handle this situation. read more

The food mostly was good, the service was even better, but the hash browns where undercooked and raw.

If I could rate a zero I would. Do not order from this place, you will wait a long time, not get the order you want, or end up canceling the order because the bad customer service and lack of employees!! So disappointed, second time with bad service, gave a second chance to this restaurant and I am telling you don't waste your time or money. You will be disappointed. I don't know why I thought it would be any different a second time! Will never return to your chain of restaurants. read more

I'm not a big Denny's person, but considering there weren't many other options this was the place we choose. This is probably the best Denny's I've ever visited! The service was perfect, the food was actually really delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive when dealing with our table of 6. She refilled our coffees, gave everyone water, and brought a pot of cream when we asked for more. All of our orders came out correctly too! The food was actually really good. I say 'actually' because it's inexpensive food from a diner joint; it's not a fancy place. However, I ordered a turkey burger and it was really really good! Juicy and flavorful! I ordered fries with it and they were good, a different style of fry too. BTW- Denny's now serves a 'dark roast' coffee... it's really really good!! read more

The food was great and the service was outstanding and I was very pleased with the service and the food. My family and I went to this location last night at 9:47 pm after my nephew's graduation. We had a party of 18 people. After I told the waitress she asked the manager if they were able to accommodate our large group. The manager started yelling from the kitchen that they didn't prep enough food and they weren't even taking Uber Eats orders let alone serve us. Talk about unprofessional and disgraceful to turn away business. Who does that?! Not to mention they said they didn't have enough room for us when not even a quarter of the restaurant was full! Shame on this Denny's! I'll never visit this restaurant again. They need to fire the manager on duty for representing their establishment in such a negative way. read more

Excellent service starting with the hostess Kinya, who was very gracious. The server Jade gave us perfect service. The food was delicious- I got a chicken and mushrooms with Alfredo sauce and broccoli (substituted the rice for the mashed potatoes). Super yummy with the toasted dinner bread (garlic I think).. My husband had breakfast. Another Hispanic employee was sanitizing the walls by the booths. The restaurant was very clean. I was impressed. read more

This is a Denny's. It is just like most any other Denny's I have eaten at. It is just down the street from the hotel I stay in relation to my attendance at Great Lakes Brew Fest. I come here because I know I will get cheap, fast, breakfast. That is all I am looking for after a day of decadent beer consumption. Keep up the mediocre work and I will keep coming back when I am not motivated to look for something better. read more

Denny's - cars parked in front of a restaurant - Diners Near Me - Racine, Wisconsin

Like the roast beef and the Margherita chicken. Nice restaurant. Food overall good. Have come a long way from what it used to be years ago.

We went to this Dennys after our son's football game on Saturday, October 10th. Our server was Ashley. What a phenomenal server! I'm also in the service industry so I feel I know a good server when I see one. The food was good. The host accommodated us with a larger table as we ran into our family friends whom we wanted to sit with. The only downside was the entrance to the parking lot.(Corporate Issue rather then restaurant issue). We were not from the area and parked in another lot due to not locating the parking entrance. We weren't the only ones...our family friends were also not from the area and also parked in another lot. Overall great experience. Keep up the great service Ashley! read more

Showed up with a group of 18 at 9:45pm. Was rudely turned away by the some lady yelling from the back of the kitchen (assuming she was the manager). Unprofessional you ask me, telling her staff to tell us "uh uh, we can't serve that party, we aren't even accepting Uber Eats." As we sat in the waiting area trying to figure out where to go next, I can clearly hear the staff asking each other why our party was still there. Lady yelling from the back explained that they don't prepare enough food this late in the evening. Yet as we waited around I certain that I counted 24 customers seated after we showed. I'll be sure to report this to the corporate office! read more

I'm so tired of these rude jerks. I only TRY to order from here because my grandkids like one particular menu item. Often times they don't answer the phone. When they do, they try to deter you with how long it's going to take to get your order. Then put you hold, indefinitely, when you tell them it's fine. Have had to wait because of wrong order. I swear I'd NEVER spend money here if it wasn't for the grandkids. I'll forever try to steer them to somewhere else. read more

Came here for my birthday breakfast. At Dennys you can always expect good breakfast. Not great, but good. The service will cause the experience to either become better or worse. The server was great. I went to this Denny's on Washington Avenue and I had the Philadelphia cheese steak omelette it was one of the most phenomenal omelets I've eaten in years very tasty very tender steak very filling delicious and wheat pancakes are awesome and the toast was not saturated and spongy with butter, I am very surprised I don't ever remember Denny's being this good I will go back again and again for this omelet the only downside was the waitress was a bit sloppy and a tad slow read more

Nothing better in Racine at 2am than Denny's for breakfast. Ask for Tammy! She is the best!

I know, chains aren't the same as locally owned restaurants, but I want to give a lot of credit to the great waitresses at this Denny's. They're all like mother hens who want to make sure you have everything you want, and they're great about refills and extras. And the ultimate skillet is fresh and served so hot, you have to wait until it quits sizzling before you can eat it! I had a macho nacho burger once that was also very good and fresh! Who woulda thought? read more

I ended going with a party of 16 including myself and ordered the grand slamwich. Boy, was i slammed!!! Everything tasted great and I missed the clean plate club by one bite. The wait was a little while but given how many people were in our party, it was completely understandable. However, I've learned that this location doesn't live up to appropriate standards from a friend who lives in the area. As there are also some negative reviews for his location, it really is a tossup. That being said, when I went the food and service lived up to my expectations. read more

Server seemed out of it Don yell After ordering my meal which was a salad she can back to tell me they had no spring mix. She could replace it with romaine. She THAN Came BACK AND said they didn't have that either. Reordered asked for soup ahead of time she brought the wrong soup. I was on a lunch break. After Checking out the server was at the register with the manager said it was her fault she didn't order enough. Thanks but no thanks read more

I was there recently and I was about half way done with my burger and noticed the bun was bright blue with mold. The server was accommodating about taking it away quickly and comping the meal, but never saw a manager!! I will not ever go to that location again!! read more
