Also this spot is connected to a truckers spot. The dining area is HUGE! Loved the mural on the wall. My grand slam was great. My grandson ordered the largest dbl cheeseburger I've seen. It's a Denny's: Does that require more explanation? Our orders didn't take long and were accurate. However, the server delivered them and was gone so quickly she didn't hear a request for mustard for a hamburger. Afterward, I had to track her down for it and for extra dressing for a dry a salad. Visiting from about 3 hours away, we had a wonderful server her name was Tanya and she did a fantastic job but she was the only server so she was running around like crazy. The food was very very cold and the chicken was uncooked, my order was kinda messed up but i didn't wanna keep bothering her, i'm a server and i get it, it happens. Terrible service and food. First I ordered Philly cheese steak omelette and the meat was dry like an old shoe. I ordered another breakfast but kept pancakes so they don't have to remake them too (other order was with banana pancakes and these were plain-I was ok, because I don't like wasting food. Other breakfast order was two eggs hash browns and a sausage. They brought bacon instead of sausage. Waiting time for everything was long even though they were not that busy (about 30% capacity). I waited again for sausage, but couldn't eat it, because my appetite was just shot. Maybe they had an off day, but it was dissatisfying to me. Manager did take care of the meal, but I rather pay and have a good meal than have a screwed s****y free meal. Normally when I patron a Denny's I don't have high expectations. They were even lower when I read the sign before entering that stated "short staffed, expect a 10 - 15 minute wait." So I sat in the makeshift lobby and waited about 7 minutes when m, I assume, the manager walked in the restaurant and seated us. There weren't many customers in so I figured we had a chance of receiving good service. Boy was I wrong. Surprisingly, we had really, really good service. Our host was Melody and she was pleasant and efficient despite being the only host/waitress in the entire restaurant. Since she did so good I just knew the food would be crap. WRONG AGAIN!!! She brought the food as it was prepared so it was hot, it didn't taste like it was cooked in old oil, it wasn't burnt, I'd go as far to say it looked like a photo straight off the menu. It tasted pretty good as well. This isn't a four star restaurant but under the circumstances I had an overall wonderful experience. read more

My server, Lindsay, was terrific! She was very friendly and very helpful. However I was sitting close to the cash register and the other young lady working was having problem after problem after problem and kept calling Lindsay away to try to help her instead of helping her customers. My husband was at the truck stop this morning. He came in to order our son a kids french fry. While in line he engaged in a conversation with another driver. Michelle W (according to the receipt) approached the counter and complimented my son, as my husband was holding him in his arms. After ordering the french fries, the terminal asked my husband if he would like to include gratuity on his order. He selected 10%. Since his order was only $0.99, gratuity came out to $0.19. He finished his transaction and returned to his conversation at which time Michelle interrupted them and asked why he only included a $0.19 tip. He informed her that he didn't mean to offend her, he simply selected a percentage at the prompt, her response was "$0.19 next time you can just keep that shit. And then she walked away. I understand that it's not a huge tip but neither was our order. Never the less, there should still be a standard of professionalism expected from the employees. If I could give this particular location a 0 out of 5 stars, I would. My Father and myself are on a 18-wheeler almost 24/7/365, minus when we are at either our home or a friend/family's home. I would say it's months between when we have what most would see as a 'home cooked meal', due to how expensive truck stop restaurants are, and a lot of actual restaurants don't allow, or have room, for semi (18-wheeler) parking, so obviously, we are fairly often shoppers at Walmart and Sam's Club. As I said, it's rare we eat in a sit down restaurant, so today, my Father decided, he wanted Denny's, and wanted it to go. I even called this particular Denny's before we pulled into the parking lot, to see if it was possible to use our own to go dishes we had gotten extra from another Denny's. At first the lady I spoke to said yes, so I came inside to make the order. Once at the counter, after waiting roughly 10 minutes to even see a employee in there, someone finally asked what I needed. I told her, and she seemed hesitant about putting the food in the containers, but agreed. About a hour later, another woman came out and said her boss said the containers were 'dirty' and could not be used due to 'cross contamination'. I would've understood if they had said that because they were outside containers, technically, they couldn't use them, but saying the containers were dirty was uncalled for. The way the inside of Denny's was, now that was dirty. I'm overlooking the snow, but their attitudes need a very good cleaning. So for anyone thinking of coming here? Avoid this place like the plague. Only thing going good for them is their wifi, and Flying J has plenty of that to use. read more

This Denny,s was average. The hostess wasn't very pleasant. Apparently all she does is seat people, it is above her to offer help to the other staff. She kept trying to seat us in areas we did not want to be. We almost left for more congenial surroundings. While the table was clean; we had to wipe the water off the top of the table, so we wouldn't get our arms wet. They seemed to be short handed & had one section blocked off w/chairs. Once we got the waitress to smile, she was really nice & pleasant. She thanked us for cheering her up, apologized for her apparent lack of initial response & was more than adequate. We had the chorizo, egg, mushroom, & potato skillet w/avocado & the avocado omelet w/fruit cup, water w/lemon for both of us. They say half an avocado, but they skimp; we only got a quarter of an avocado. Otherwise the dishes were adequate, not spectacular. Average price. The crew could stand to make some attitude adjustments. However, the manager was trying to make some headway & was checking On customers, as well as offering samples of Mango smoothies to those who would accept them. read more

Ok yes it's a "chain restaurant" and your over it I get it.... it's also in a Truck Stop if truckers come here it's gotta be pretty good. The staff is friendly and they don't hover. The coffee is good and fresh and sure some of the food is weighed part of corporate whatever. But you know what your gonna get and the food is gonna taste like any other Denny's. They are bringing other seasonal things in the menu and lighter options like Chicken Sausage and Egg Whites and etc. Its a large space and it seems they get regulars and they are as nice to you as they are to them. It's simple, solid diner food no it's not like some old school place owned by a family but the menus are solid and the coffee is fresh and yes parking is plenty. I had the moon over my hammy (a breakfast sandwich) on sourdough bread, cheese, scrambled egg and ham with a side of red potatoes. The husband had a few eggs and chicken sausage and we had coffee and water. It was good, not anything that would weigh us down on the road. So there you go.. The seat in the booth I was assigned was completely worn out with torn covering and springs that had collapsed in certain areas.
