Last meal in Orlando We stopped at this Denny's location before heading to the airport for our flight back home, less than 2 miles from our resort. We dined here for breakfast... it was one of the cleanest Denny's I've dined in. No wait time, we were greeted and seated immediately. I chose the Build Your Own Grand Slam -- can't go wrong with a Denny's breakfast, good food, simple and satisfying. Service was quick and pleasant. The location is very close to hotels and Seaworld (Gate 3 entrance on Central Florida Pkwy). We only do Denny's on our travels. Environment is great and welcoming but service is a little un attentive yes I got my food fast but took a while to get me my coffee hasn't even asked for a refill. Heard staff call me sir when I'm ma'am I just do cross fit and am prior law enforcement and EMS/Fire Department. Just before I was ready to give up completely on chain restaurants, I'm greeted with a huge smile from the younger hostess and even a bigger smile and welcome from my server, Star. I'm trying to limit carbs in my diet and the restaurant was more than accommodating. Star was on point. Another server, Hanna (I think her name was Hanna) wins the day with an overly amazing smile. One could tell she's experienced in her craft. Efficient and pleasant. :-) All servers were busting their tails. I sat at the counter and never saw food taking over 30 seconds to get from expo to the table. This is a well oiled team. Kudos to management. Extra kudos to the entire team - including the cooks. We patronize many Denny's restaurants on our travels.This is a very nice one--clean, friendly and prompt service, food/fruit was fresh. Denny's used to have an extensive Senior Menu (over 55) but due to COVID that's been pared down. So, the three of us ordered off the regular offerings but the prices are not really high. We also used our AARP discount and that cut a good amount off the tab. We all enjoyed our selections. read more

(no yoke) and they brought her out an egg that looked like it was sitting for like 30 mins. My brother-in-law ordered a sampler and when he got his tenders they were dry and hard and they forgot to put the buffalo sauce on the tenders. when he said something to remake and correct the order, they took his old tenders put them in a to go box and put the sauce in the box shook them up put them back on the plate and then drizzled buffalo sauce on the top of the tenders. and the people that were on that shift looked like they just didn't give a care in the world that our order got messed up but wanted to complain and talk crap behind the counter about us. Denny's is always a hit or miss. This one was a good one for us. The food and service we got was really good. They do provide a military discount which is much appreciated. They did try adding $1.99 on to our bill for online games from the table tablet, we never agreed to that. They did take it off the bill. Always look at your bill. I checked into this location purely based on how close it is to where we are staying and had forgotten about how bad the coffee was during my last visit. Seems like things haven't improved. We ordered drinks and waited, and our dinner order was taken a few minutes after. This time I ordered unsweetened iced tea purely by chance. Hubby ordered a burger with onion rings, and I ordered the chicken fried steak, broccoli and Mac and cheese. Hubby received a refill on his lemonade quickly but I was never even asked if I wanted or needed a refill. I noticed our waiter chatting it up with two other tables for quite awhile before he brought out the food. Seemed like my food was not as warm as it should have been, and hubby received fries instead of his onion rings. Our waiter was nowhere to be found to ask for a correction, so I ended up flagging down a waitress nearby who asked who waited on us so that he could correct the mistake. Never saw the waiter, but the kind waitress appeared with the onion rings in a few minutes. My meal was fair - country gravy was bland and terrible. Another mistake was the missing milkshake that my husband ordered for the end of his meal - never received it only the check. Forget about the food the service Cristella (a/k/a Stella) provides is worth 10 Stars. In all my years I have never have had someone provide such exceptional Customer Service what a gem. She should be in charge of the entire staff even if 1% of her spirit can be taught the restaurant would have lines down International Drive. Just want to say we had just come from IHOP up the road after having a terrible experience. I may never visit another IHOP again. We left and went down the road and saw this restaurant and gave it another try. We weren't waiting long for a seat and even got a booth. Ilene came over and greeted us with the most wonderful personality and friendly smile and I told my daughter now that's what good customer service is all about.
