Nice enough person, but seemingly overworked at this tourist attraction Denny's in Orlando, Florida. 2 adults and 3 kids, each of us took advantage of the $5.99 Super Slam that included 2 pancakes, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, and hashbrowns. Adults ordered coffee, kids ordered apple juice, chocolate milk, and water. They ordered 10 double chocolate pups for the road. Food was decent and prepared to order. Biggest problem - almost 15 minutes to order, then another 40 minutes to be served. As I mentioned earlier, our server was above average, but seemingly overworked. I would like to give a shout out to this Denny's, as I went twice on my vacation, and aside from the variety in the menu and the good prices (as that's how Denny's rolls) I had great, attentive service and a waitress who asked if I wanted my coffee to go...which I did. For as much as I was spending on vacation, it's nice to have a solid option for at least one meal a day. read more

Didn't like the food but I'm giving 2 stars just for our amazing waitress. The food was overly salty and greasy and the crepe was too sweet. We wanted an alternative to our usually breakfast buffet served by our hotel but in the end it would probably have been a good idea to have eaten there instead. Our waitress however was so kind and sweet. Our food came quickly and she made sure we were all set and got everything. As for the place itself, it's really nothing fancy and the floor is sticky. read more

Don't waste your time. The service is slow and you are better off hailing a cab then getting attention from a server. Waited 20 min for a straw and spent over half the meal without coffee, creamer or sugar. Would not recommend. read more

My family and I stopped in to have dinner tonight and had such a pleasant experience. The food was tasty and came out promptly and the staff was very attentive. Our server Alonzo was knowledgeable about the menu and offered some entrée suggestions one of which we decided to try. Whenever we needed anything Alonzo was not to far away and my family and I truly appreciate that. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. read more

I wished I took pictures!!! It was good. At the moment my hunger took control. Therefore, I didn't care about the calories. T-bones Steak, 2 eggs omelette with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese . Then hash browns and Banana Foster Pancakes! ALL DELICIOUS!!! WE WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR BREAKFAST! We I would like to give our waiter, Sean, 5 stars because of his calm and warm demeanor. First of all, I'd like to give 5 stars to the Balloon guy - he was amazing and kept the adults and children a like entertained. Kudos to you!! As for the rest of our experience...it was sub-par, at best. I have many fond memories of Denny's from my childhood and this pretty much erased all of them. Our party of 9 was seated in a booth for 8 (probably a booth for 6, but we had a 3 y/o and a 5 y/o, so I'll call it 8). We had to ask for a seat to put at the end so my husband could join us. The restaurant wasn't busy yet, but it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks - my coffee was lukewarm (and I don't like hot coffee) and there were no refills for anyone on anything. We quickly placed our order....but that was the only part that was quick. Our order came out in pieces - a few dishes here, a few dishes there...but in the long run no one got toast. When we asked about it, our waiter seemed somewhat annoyed. And then three of the seven people who were due to get toast received it. No one else. I know it's a touristy area, and they're probably not looking for return customers, but this was a bit ridiculous. read more

Meghan saved the day! I had a huge issue when our hotel would not serve us breakfast. My group of 28 people walked to the area and we split up half and half. Half going to Dennys and the other half going to ihop across the street as we knew we were going to overwhelm the kitchen. The group that went to Dennys was served and given amazing & fast service while the other group was turned away at ihop and had to go eat elsewhere. The staff and specifically Meghan are fan-freaking-tastic getting my group in and out in less than an hour. My group most importantly loved the food! I would highly recommend this place. read more

Just average Denny's. There were five of us ordering breakfast. Three of us received our entree oh, and the other two had ordered pancakes. She said they were cooking them and they would be out momentarily. It was a good 10 minutes before she brought out the remainder of our order. My two children had to sit there with no food while the rest of us ate. The pancakes have been sitting up on the line but the waitress was too busy to go pick them up. The reason for missing two stars is because of the girl at the cash register when we went to pay. She was sitting on a personal phone call, and couldn't be bothered to put the phone down so we could pay for our order. She kept asking the person why they didn't come in. When we asked for change to give a tip to our waitress, she did not have a key and still kept talking on the phone to her personal friend. It was completely unprofessional and it was very ghetto ish. If she is going to work in a restaurant, she should not be allowed to be on her phone taking personal phone calls. read more
