Breakfast (food) here on Monday was decent, speedy, and good service. Today (wednesday) staff seems distracted, not interested and slow as possible. I also got salmon (over cooked), mac and cheese (okay) and mashed potatoes (but it is a weird grool like consistency... am i eating potatoes?!). I came in around 5pm and got the 5 pepper burger. I'm lactose intolerant, so I was pleasantly surprised when I learned the brioche bun is dairy free here! However, she refused to honor Denny's nationwide, all location promotion for their classic grand slam breakfast even after we showed her the details on Denny's website. We like this location a little better than most of the other very old outdated locations. Mother is 80+ and is very comfortable here, because it is familiar. Food is reliable. Prices are reasonable, with your AARP/AAA discount. Service is okay. Strange, so few servers clear empty plates these days. Some days we get good service, some times not so much. I'm so disappointed! I placed my order on the app and I also picked curbside pick up! I ended up waiting 15 minutes past the due time that my order was supposed to be ready. So I decide to go into the restaurant and ask to see if my order is ready and which I did. The girl was somewhat polite. She kind of rolled her eyes because once I said curbside pick up, she said that we don't do that anymore so, she said that she doesn't know why the app says that they only did that when we were going through the Covid. So I asked her like you guys don't check to see if there's anybody waiting for you guys out there and she said that the spaces are for DoorDash and I asked her. Why don't you guys take out those numbers and she said we use them for DoorDash. So I mentioned to her that would be a good idea to call corporate or to get somebody out here to take those numbers out and they need to go on their app and remove curbside pick up for at least this location if that's the case and she said there's nothing that they can do. Clearly you can tell that she's over the situation. I wish the company would update their software or system because by the time I got home, my food was cold and soggy. Very disappointing. On Saturday, 22!March 2024 we (6) arrived @!4:23 p.m. Seated after a few minutes as 2 employees counted/confirmed cash register contents(?). At 4:52, the only visible employee acknowledged our presence and said she would be with us in a few moments, then disappeared. After another half minute or so, she reappeared and asked if we were ready to order. Having studied the menu for over a half hour, we were certainly ready. As the waitress leaned on the back of the booth, we began to place or orders (meals, sides, drinks, etc) I ordered an appetizer as well. After a long 15 minutes, the drinks and 5 set of silverware was delivered. Asked for straws, which, while promised, never arrived. Another 5-10 minutes the appetizers arrived, followed in seconds by 2 of the meals (sandwiches), Waiter returned to confirm the desired side for one meal. (couldn't read her own scribble?) Finally, the other 4 meals came in pretty much timely succession, then the 2 salads ordered appeared. Note here:! Appetizers should be served well in advance of the meals, giving guests time to enjoy them. Drinks at same time would be desired. Salads typically are eaten as the first part in the entree- really puts a lot of dishes on the table at same time, and any hot food turns cool, while eating the cold salad. Now: The foods- Steak p, ordered medium rare, served s well done and m looked rather gray. The "country fried steak" ordered with onion rings and salad, came with onion rings and corn. As an aside, this order was from the regular menu, but was delivered as from their +55 menu. Assumed that was because this guest appeared to be well past that age. Just before we were finished, another person appeared, and began taking the orders for a couple that had just arrived. Late for work? Or on break for an hour? Only Denny's knows. The lack of sufficient staff is a recurring problem at this Denny's, and not noted at other Denny's we visit across the U.S. Pick the number of stars this review warrants. I came here for dinner. Denny's is short staffed, so it took a while for another customer and I to get seated as they were busy cleaning tables. I had the hamburger with onion rings. I had visited Marina Dennys this week with my family and it wasn't pleasant! I waited about 40 minutes for my food to come out, and the food was cold and on top of that the manager was being very unprofessional, yelling at her staff in Spanish, and wearing unprofessional clothing, thought this was a nice place to eat with my family but I was wrong. The staff are getting treated poorly and the manager should be FIRED she does not know how to run the restaurant. I will NOT be returning to this restaurant EVER. read more

The worst service I have ever encountered! I walked in and sat with my 2 yr old toddlers and I waited almost an hour for pancakes and eggs. I spoke with the manager and all they had to say was I'm sorry. I have no problem waiting if I know what's going on but I was never told and I never even received coffee refills. After the wrap up of a theater production a few of us parents took around 22 kids to eat. I had to write a review because most people don't bother to unless they get bad service but we got quite the opposite. Our server was Jovann. He was extremely patient and attentive considering I think he was the only one there. Joavann had to deal with 22 kids I'm positive not what any server wants to deal with but he did it with a smile and was so patient and helpful with the kids ordering. because of him I'm definitely taking my family back. 2 1/2 stars. Slow service and disappointing food. My daughter sent her meal back because they failed to prepare it to her specifications. Mine came with the wrong kind of toast and I didn't bother exc. Unfortunately our food was served cold and cold breakfast food isn't palatable. We saw our waitress three times, once when she dropped off our menus, then when she took our order and dropped off coffee. We had to search for someone to bring us a to go box and to have our server bring the check. The busboy seemed to be invested in making certain that folks were taken care of and was around bussing tables, refilling coffee and water.It will be a while before we return. If your trying to eat at there out door arrangement in the parking lot beware of yellow-jackets!! We ordered our food inside and proceeded to find seats . While waiting for our food we were greeted with only 2 yellow-jackets( not that bad) Once our food came out and we started to eat;roughly within3 minutes we had to leave the area due to how many yellow-jackets started to swarm our food. We ended up having to box up our food and had to leave. Staff didn't seem to really care when I brought the issue up to them. They didn't offer us an Apology or offered us another seating location.
