The food here is excellent and always worth coming back for. Our server, Lupe, was fantastic--definitely a 10 out of 10. The restaurant looks clean and in order, and the manager, Miriam, keeps things looking good. The only downside is the wait time. I waited over 15 minutes to place an order, and even saw another customer leave because of the slow service. The $5.99 special menu loses its purpose when it takes that long. Hopefully management takes a closer look, because the food is outstanding, but the service speed really needs improvement. read more

We had a big group of seniors. Each ordered from the 'Discounted' senior breakfast menu averaging $11 per meal. The waiter kept on offering other options such russet potatoes to replace hash browns not knowing it was going to cost extra $$. Don't put curbside pickup on the website if it's not actually an option. The first time I ordered curbside, one male employee said they don't offer it, while someone in the background said they do. And handed my order to me. I called again today, and the woman who answered was rude, said they don't do curbside, and dismissed me when I said I had used it before. The inconsistency and attitude are really frustrating. Don't put it on the website if it's not an option. Plain and simple. read more

After bring closed for so long and reopened I finally got to go. It's really nice and clean and the customer service is great very attentive. Very unfortunate I have to retract my previous review for this restaurant. Today's breakfast was an EPIC fail! Fruit was given to me in a DIRTY bowl! Unfortunately I didn't notice until I had already eaten some of the fruit. UNACCEPTABLE, NASTY, GROSS!! To make matters worse, the server tried to take the bowl from me when I asked to speak to the manager. The puppy dog eyes and expressing she would get in trouble should be the LEAST of your worries! So the menu pic is what I thought I was getting... the photo i took is what I got... the topping moved around like slimy snot... the apples were raw.. the pancakes weren't hot.... Did take a pic of The potatoes onions and bell peppers I got on the side. But it seemed like the peppers and onions were burnt and instead of them redoing it they scraped the pan and just thought I wouldn't notice the charred taste lol... I've been to Danny's in La Habra a few times now, and my recent visit was another reminder of why I usually go for the convenience, not the food. After dinner with my friends, we wanted to chat a bit more before saying goodbye, but Orange County cafes don't stay open late. Our limited options led us to Danny's. We all ordered coffee, but feeling a little guilty for just taking up a table, we added boneless Buffalo wings and an apple pie with ice cream to the order. Our server was friendly and attentive, but the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. When it did, the quality was about what you'd expect from air-fried frozen food you could grab at a grocery store. Not great, but not terrible. Just... there. I didn't have high expectations going in, but it still felt like a letdown. I'd come back if there were no other options and I needed a place to hang out, but for the food? Probably not. I have visited many Denny's restaurants, and even though this Denny's in the city of La Mirada and is quite a distance from where I reside their services is by far the best experience I've had. I grew up coming to Dennys and felt like over the last few years their service declined BUT we have been back here three times now and BOTH the service and food have been great. Olivia kept the coffee coming which is a big deal for me as I LOVE their coffee. We usually come in before 10AM and it's always super chill and nice. Definitely making a comeback! read more

We ordered buy one get in free is what we though I mean why would we put an order twice and get charged. Regardless if it was buy one get one free they would have gave us another meal. Food arrived cold. They wouldn't answer the phone for the 3 hours I kept trying, only to be told in person it's our fault, iv worked in the restaurant business for a long time and always made it right for the customer. I won't ever go there again, not just for the fact it was over priced, incorrect and cold you should have made it right. Denny's in La Habra is mine and my family's go to breakfast spot. Never a disappointment. Although the restaurant was great before the fire, the remodel added new life. We wanted some breakfast. We hadn't had Dennys in years and decided to get it. We placed a phone order for pick up. They said it would be ready by 7:05am (we called at 6:42). We got there and the food was ready. The person that was at the cashier was pleasant and cheerful. She brought out our food and reviewed the order. Everything we ordered was there. The only thing is that we also ordered an original sampler that comes with boneless wings, fries, cheese sticks and onion rings . The wings are placed with everything else so the sauce got on the cheese sticks, onion rings and fries. We wished they would have separated those so the sauce doesn't get on everything else. Especially since my bf doesn't eat any sauces and he was going to eat the cheese sticks and onion rings. There were a few ppl eating there. Looked peaceful. Other than the sauce being on everything the service was fast and our order was not missing anything. read more

Another positive experience at this Denny's! Today our server was Nicole M, and she was superb. She was extra friendly, accommodating, & checked on us frequent enough to make sure everything was fine but without over doing it. Our food came out hot and accurate. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail. Table side cocktail was a whole show and my friend really enjoyed it. We had a great lunch at Tempo Cantina. I can't wait to try more of their bar menu, maybe even at night when the restaurant is lively
