Recently had a family dinner here and our experience was fantastic. Our host AND server was Adam. That young man was amazing!! As soon as we entered to be seated he greeted us quickly and took us to a table promptly. Upon sitting down he asked for our drinks and those came out quickly after. He gave us another moment to order and once we were ready everything came out fast and delicious! Compliments to the cook as well. Adam checked on us multiple times and we never went without refills. Truly attentive to our table and others around us. He was the only server working and he never lacked. This is the kind of customer service that keeps us coming back. Thank you Adam for a great dine in experience.

This is a no frills type place. I had the General's Old Fashioned Ham. Three eggs cooked to your preference, hash browns or country style potatoes, one-pound of ham and your choice of toast, pancakes or biscuit. The ham piece is enormous and definitely enough for leftovers. 5/5 My friend ordered the tri-tip salad with Italian dressing. The meat was tender and greens consisting of chopped romaine lettuce. The salad was served with a side of garlic toast. 4/5 Service is always good and waitstaff come around frequently for beverage refills. The ambiance is very casual.

The wait time was not long and I really liked that they put us in a different private area since my mom is disabled and has to push her little cart that's a little bulky. The staff were super fast and friendly. At one point we had thought they forgot about us, but when I turned around here she comes from behind to ask if we were doing okay. Amazingly I was impressed with the food, It was served fresh and our food came straight from the kitchen because everything was piping hot just the way we like. The place could use some updated decor. I believe the decorations are the same ones from Fruit Tree and Perko days and that was some time ago. It looks super outdated and you can tell all the decorations, tables and chairs are super old, but the servers do wipe up after someone's finished eating, but the place would look nicer if they updated a little. Restrooms are not too friendly with people who have disabilities as my mom struggled a bit in there, so if you bring your elderly relatives then they will need help in the restroom.

The rooms themselves were great, my issue was with the bar. I'm supposed to be here for a few weeks for work but I will be going to the Marriott from here on while I'm in the area. My wife joined me this week for the travel, we decided to check the bar and restaurant out since we were both wanting to try it out. Our first order was their chocolate old fashion (regular od fashion with only chocolate bitters) and know creek. Bartender informed me they didn't have know creek and I made it 2 of the chocolate old fashions. When we got the drinks, it was basically makers mark with a splash of chocolate bitters over ice. I'm a bourbon fan and she made both those "old fashion drinks" in under a minute and they tasted like whiskey on the rocks. Wife hated it and I took her drink. I then ordered for her Titos and cranberry. Bartender said they were out of titos and she settled for Grey goose and cranberry. It was measured properly and very red, so can't complain but come on, you're going to charge us for Grey goose since you're out of titos but can't give it an extra splash? We looked at the menu and ordered the chicken Ceasars with NO chicken (there's a reason I'm making it clear that I said "no chicken") for the wife since shes vegetarian and I ordered their sampler platter. Bartender informed me that their fryer was broken and said I can order burgers and sandwiches, so I settled for chicken and bacon sandwich. A few minutes go by and the Bartender then said that they were out of lettuce and only had arugula salad. My wife then asked for the tomato soup since shes vegetarian and we were then told that the soup is no longer available and that it hasn't been removed from menus. So my wife settles for the arugula salad without chicken and a side cheese pizza. After bringing our food out, it was served in to go plates. I had chips for my side since the fries couldn't be made do to the fryer not working and my wife git her pizza and her chicken Ceasar arugula only salad....with chicken in it. So luckily she could pick the chicken out and we tried topnotch let it ruin our night. While eating, the Bartender was talking with a coworker who was off work and they were talking about how they hate customers who do this and who do that, very unprofessional since we weren't the only ones at the bar that night. During this time I asked for 2 waters and she brought out the 2 waters but didn't take my first empty old fashion glass or my wife's empty cranberry and vodka glass. She didn't even ask if we wanted another one. So we get the bill, $77.94 for the microwaved food, wrong order, bad drinks, etc. Terrible and has now made me cancel my booking for the remaining 2 weeks I'm here.

I'm not really the type of guy to hit casinos and/or bars so I will stick to what I know when it comes to this review. That means I'm sticking to how I feel about the food. I ordered a double cheeseburger (I think it was two 8oz patties) and I added avocado, bacon, and an over easy egg. At first I thought the runny egg would be too messy, but it wasn't bad at all. The meat was so hot and cooked perfectly. It was quality meat too, not too fatty. The bacon was delicious and gave the burger a nice crisp. I loved the cheese. I'm not sure how many slices it had, but it dripped on the side and I had a delicious time picking it off my plate and licking it off my fingers. The avocado needed about one more day to be fully ripe, but it wasn't a problem. The fries were a little too salty. The ketchup saved it though. This burger was definitely restaurant quality, but not for the price. I ended up paying about $22 for it. I guess that's somewhat reasonable for a pound of meat, but I don't feel like it was worth $22. There are times where I'll get a drive in burger for $16, and I'll feel it's worth it! This just didn't feel worth it. I can't really put my finger on it. Regardless, it was delicious. To touch on the atmosphere it's a Friday night and there are quite a bit of people here. I'm guessing this is the spot for the Delano night life crowd. There is a bald black guy telling some semi-funny jokes, the lighting is dim in the bar area, and everyone is socializing. There are also a number of tvs to keep you entertained with some pro sports. (Lakers are playing!) I don't gamble so I can't really give you any tips about the tables. I give the burger about 3 to 4 stars. The atmosphere is not bad and customer service is average. Therefore, 4 stars.

So I came out to the Aviator after swearing it off, and was pleasantly surprised. New security…read moreguards, and better service! I guess I'll be back for happy hour!

Thankfully Hole in One Cafe provided us with a place to not only gather and catch up but fill our bellies with DELICIOUS food. I am a chilaquiles snob and have actually stopped ordering because more often than not they disappoint. Thankfully my friend ordered the red chilaquiles and WOW!! Sauce was perfect and just the right amount was used to adequately cover the homemade chips but still leaving some chips slightly crispy. And the side of fried panela cheese was amazingly tasty! I ordered the most basic dish on the menu, beans, potatoes and eggs. Though simple, it was beyond satisfying and I especially appreciated that the honored my request to pop the yolk.
