It had chicken souvlaki, smokey BBQ ribs, pull pork, salt and pepper wings, coleslaw, fries etc. he loved it and so did everyone at the table! There is a constant buzz of conversations around us to provide a bit of intimacy and privacy to our conversations, while also allowing our toddler to be just a bit rowdy without feeling like we are disturbing the other guests. Of the food, I love the mushroom side with the truffle fondue. I wanted to dip everything in it as it was so flavourful and delicious. Complimentary bread with butter and blue cheese butter were offered to start. The brussel sprouts side was also unique with the added pistachios and a crisp for some crunch. The hearty mussels and clams starter were great for a rainy evening. Portion was enough as a meal by itself, too! There is a covered parking lot for those driving. We tried a mix of their special holiday menu as well as a few a-la-carte items from the regular menu and everything was top notch, from the perfectly spiced and scrumptious roasted eggplant/mushroom soup (with a dollop of chevre) to the fruit crumble for dessert and everything in between (we ordered the turkey dinner, halibut dinner, a burger for the kiddo, and a very hearty beet salad) ... perfection.
