    Dark burnt grease
    Sean T.

First let's just say that having your wife stared at by the large obese manager as if she was a food item from the menu should have been a clue to what was to come. The waitress was sweet but forgot numerous items that were asked for when placing the order. Then my wife's omelette came out and asked you can see drowning in dark burnt grease. At first we thought it was water from the vegetables but as she tilted the plate it became the dark brown grease that you see in the pictures. It took us having to flag down another waitress because ours was MIA. Ours came to the table, we sent the food back, was never offered a retire or anything. The waitress came back a couple minutes later and offered a retire, which we declined. The creepy obese manager never came to apologize either. Probably a good thing. My question is this, why didn't the creep not catch this as it came off the line? Why didnt the waitress not catch this bringing it to us? As you can see in the picture it was very evident. By the way there were only 3 other people in the entire place with 3 waitresses, a manager and whatever on the line. No EXCUSE.

Some of the worst service and dining experience in a long time. We arrived to this location shortly before noon. The parking lot was maybe 20% filled, so we didn't expect too long of a wait. There were two other tables ahead of us, with maybe 30% of the restaurant filled, and it took about 5 minutes to be seated. Once seated, Drinks came out quickly. Then we were ignored for a good 20 minutes. It took walking to the front counter to get a refill and ask to order before a waitress showed up. Once we ordered we were ignored for another 25-30 minutes. No checking on drinks, no checking in, nothing. Then all of our food arrived all at once. Both the Natcho appetizer as well our main meals. All of it slightly cold already. When we were ignored again. No check in if everything was good, no refills, nothing. I love the designs of the building and the interior is pretty cool. It looks like an updated version of a classic diner. The food is good most of the time. Unfortunately the service is horrific. There were tables that were seated after us, that had food before someone came to take our order. We have visited this location before, and service tends to be on the slow side, but today was the last time we will come here.

    Standard slam

Location Just off the 85-look for the shiny silver diner behind the brewery. Service Outstanding-friendly! Seating Tables or booths Food and beverage Standard Denny's menu- no alcohol. Wr had the standard and big slam. Grits were over-flowingly good-buttered. English muffin toasted perfectly-served buttered. Eggs-terrific, fresh! Pancakes so light and fluffy! ( did not serve with syrup but I don't eat them with-other table had sugar free syrup in the bottle). Bacon should receive extra merit-so very crispy! Yum!!! Summary Great service, outstanding food! Convenient location-Yum!

A hot cup of tea with the menu

This morning I woke up early for a hankering of something hot to drink because these nights are getting cold here at the beach! So I went to Denny's which is located on South Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach SC and they didn't disappoint. My waiter was very nice and all I had was a cup of hot tea which was perfect. I drank it while watching the sun rise and now I can start my day off right! The price was very reasonable for the cup of tea and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Plus the atmosphere was energetic for being 6:30 in the morning!! I recommend this place for anyone who loves diner food all day.

We waited foreverrrrrr to get our food. They were busy, but seemed to have plenty of workers. The tables surrounding us were complaining. Our food was good but we will just go elsewhere next time.

I travel between Greenville and Charlotte frequently and have found that this Denny's location is perfectly convenient for me to grab a meal no matter what time of day (or night) I am on the road. It is immediately off of an exit and has always been quick whether I am eating there or carrying out! This location appears to have been renovated in recent years because although it has a classic diner feel, it's definitely modern and updated as far as the booths and decor go. There are typical booths for 2 or 4 people, corner booths for larger groups, and one booth that seriously looked like 12+ people could be seated with plenty of elbow room. (I took a picture because I don't think I've ever seen a booth this big!) I'm always surprised by the variety of their menu and alternate between craving their breakfast foods or wanting a burger. This last trip I had a turkey club sandwich that will definitely be added to my rotation of favorites! I absolutely love their french fries- basically a mix between a crinkle fry and steak fry. I recently dined solo and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and attentive my waitress was. She was the perfect balance of checking in frequently without hovering or being overbearing. She even offered me a to-go cup of coffee when she realized I was on the road and insisted on bringing a fresh cup instead of me taking what was left in my mug!

Honestly, this beautiful spot probably needs a larger location to accommodate the demand. Come here for the Redneck Benedict. It's your standard Eggs Benedict except made with corned beef hash rather than Canadian bacon. Choose hash browns or grits as your side. I truly could just describe this dish and that'd be a great advertisement for the restaurant. It certainly was the deciding factor for me. Dining at The Skillet will be an extended experience. The fact is that they have a very small kitchen to serve their dining room. Make sure to be patient and factor in time for a wait and for cooking. This should especially be in the back of your mind during the all powerful Sunday brunch hours. Food was great. Service was great. I absolutely love this place and consider it one of the best restaurants in Spartanburg, and certainly the best overall that I've tried so far.

After waiting, the cashier said "Hi," so I thought she was speaking to me, but she was actually answering the phone and took a full order before helping me. I also had to ask for a menu because one wasn't offered. Anywho, the restaurant felt extremely crowded with very little space between tables and walkways. Someone stepped on my foot, and another customer asked if I could give up my seat so their group could sit. The biggest issue was the packaging. My containers were placed upside down in the bag, and the butter inside the box had no lid, so it spilled everywhere and was already a mess when I opened the bag in my car. When I went back to notify the waitresses at the counter and ask for napkins, I was told the boxes were always packed upside down "on purpose," but that explanation didn't make sense since it caused the food to flip over and the butter to spill all over everything. (I have photos showing this). The food tasted good, but after everything I experienced, I won't be returning. For those curious about the cost, my receipt was $19.33 and after a $5 tip I paid $24.33 total.

There is not an Eggs Up Grill in Atlanta, so this place is a treat for me. My family knows to plan at least meal at Eggs Up Grill when Q is in town. I'm big on service. The place is clean and bright. Now, I'm a chicken and waffles connoisseur. Their Belgium waffles are soft and malty inside while crispy on the edges. The chicken is seasoned well - not too salty but not bland. The sauce is sweet and spicy. They could sell it by the jar. In fact, the next time I'm up, I'm going to inquire about that.

Always clean, always friendly, and the food? Always top-notch. We make it our mission to try something new every week, and today's adventure was the Texas Farmhouse Omelet and the Baja Chicken Omelet. Let me just say--both were straight-up bussin'. The Texas Farmhouse was basically the breakfast version of a cowboy riding into the sunrise with flavor. The Baja Chicken? Think "beach vacation in an omelet." The staff is so cheerful and welcoming that I half-wonder if they pump extra oxygen into the air just to make us smile more. If laughter is the best medicine, Eggs Up Grill is the prescription you didn't know you needed (served with a side of hash browns). Bottom line: if you're not here yet, you're missing out. Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind.
