First time at this restaurant and found the Willie's shrimp tacos dry fried and over cooked . It would have been great as an option for grilled shrimp. The Birria taco was lackluster because it was hardly filled with anything plus the black beans were undercooked and kind of hard. The prices of pretty much everything is over priced. We asked our server a question and she completely blanked as if she didn't hear a single word. There wasn't too many people at the place and the building is pretty barebones basic. The biggest issue is they don't just offer chips and salsa for free. I had the lunch combo (1 Chili Willy Shrimp, 1 Mother Clucker, with a side of beans and rice) with a Diet Coke. The beans and rice were seasoned nicely. I decided to go to Willy Taco the other night, and it happened to be the same night as their Halloween event. My friend and I tried some of their tacos and their Tres amigos (chips with guacamole, cheese dip, and salsa). All the food was amazing and affordably priced, but that wasn't the highlight of the night. The entire restaurant was decorated for Halloween, and they had a donut food truck, a DJ, two bouncy houses, a maze for the kids, and even staff dressed as characters such as Batman, the Joker, and Strawberry Shortcake. We shared fried green tomatoes that were very good. For dinner we all order 2-3 tacos each. Each taco was unique and highly recommended. I had a Flock style that was so spicy and good.
