We were in town for business and stumbled on this gem. The atmosphere reminded us of a family owned taqueria in Texas. The food was amazing. The flavors were typical of home (Texas) and probably the best queso I have ever had. The service was top notch our glasses stayed full and so did the salsa. Food: always good, it's a Mexican restaurant so it's very similar cuisine to all the others around. If there's ever an issue with my food it's fixed promptly and well. Service: the service is pretty good, they get very busy at times and can be slow but for the most part that are average Ambiance: it's nice 2/3 restaurant 1/3 bar area like a normal restaurant. The salsa w/ a generous portion of warm chips was excellent and I had high hopes for my entree as a result. I was disappointed. The menu does not accurately describe what you get. For example, a bean tostada is not slathered with guacamole, that would be a bean & guacamole tostada. My fault for not intuitively understanding that I should have asked, "How is this prepared" for each menu offering. ‍ There was no detectable difference between the burrito and enchilada. Both had unseasoned hamburger meat rolled up in tortillas with what seemed like bland tomato juice spooned over them. I see by the reviews this is a popular place, just not for me. read more

This is definitely the best Mexican food we've had since we left California for South Carolina! I ordered beef tacos, rice, and beans. My husband ordered beef fajitas. Both plates came piping hot, sizzling with deliciousness; the rice and beans were so good I couldn't finish my tacos. The fajitas came with veggies, onions, and a side plate of avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, rice, and beans. Absolutely delicious! We were seated and sat at the booth with chips and salsa for 20 minutes and nobody came to ask us what we wanted to drink or if we were ready to order. Multiple workers walked by and looked us plenty of time but nobody stopped. A family came in 10-15 minutes after us and already had drinks and was placing their order before we just got up and left! At first glance wasn't too sure. Walked in lots of paper products blowing on the floor. We were seated quickly and they immediately started cleaning so I felt better. The chips came out warm with two types of salsa. Medium and mild both good. My daughter order two soft tacos one beef and one chicken with the rice. I order chicken chimichanga's. She loved her dish and I really enjoyed mine. Everything was freshly made. If I don't use the restroom I don't give a full 5 stars but we will be back I'm sure. While other restaurants were struggling during the pandemic, this one expanded and opened a second location and is thriving! They're that good. The menu is extensive and they offer great value for the money. They have a busy sit down and takeout lunch and dinner. The new bar is really nice and I love the Mexican artwork on the walls. I'm a huge fan of the Guacamole Mexicano and the fajitas but the burritos, taco salad and everything else I have tried are also delicious. I've always received friendly service. Their tortilla chips are really good and crispy. Only complaint is that their mild salsa is too mild (not a single jalapeño in sight) and I'd appreciate a pico de Gallo better but they'll always provide both sides of mild and spicy if you ask for it. read more

It literally taste like everything is made with canned or frozen food. I will never go here again. Me and my husband visted this restaurant trying to find a good mexi spot. I was expecting a lot of when I first waked in because of how crowded it was . First red play was that our starter came out after our food?! Idk what that was about which we didn't even eat because it was not cooked all the way. I ordered a chimichanga deep fried it was soggy and had little to no flavor. My husband ordered the fajita which came on a plate not a skillet,he asked for an extra tortilla which was under all the food and very greasy. The only good thing I received was my margarita. Los Mexicanos website has coupons on their "Specials" tab. I went in this Tuesday evening to initiate a "to-go" order, and brought it to the server's attention while placing my order. She stated that the coupons were "old", but she would let the man at the register know. Once my order was ready, I went to pay and showed the Manager their coupon for $2 off Fajitas on Tuesdays. He told me that they were old, and it wasn't "his" problem but he would honor it THIS time. I told him that as the manager of this business that it was "his problem" because that is what is advertised. He said he would not honor that coupon at anytime in the future because it was old. I told the Manger that as long as those coupons were up, they HAD to be honored otherwise he could be liable for false advertising. Poor customer service and potentially false advertising. read more

This was the WORST take out my family has ever had. It took 10 minutes to get my food. I came straight home (about 2 minutes) and opened a bunch of COLD containers of food. If you want vegetarian. Vegatarian Fajitas, corn tortillas (you may wanna get another tomatillo salsa. Thats it. If you order anything that starts with a number or combo here our deal is off -- back to one star land with you. Some other quick tips. Don't go a date here...not exactly the best ambiance (like a cross between a day care and the highway department). We came here when driving by from Georgia and I was impressed with the rating on yelp, the place from the moment we walked in was welcoming and warm. I was also glad with the level of cleanliness and authentic mexican decor. The enchilada was simply a rolled corn tortilla stuffed with a pile of ground beef and canned sauce poured over it....no no no, that is NOT an enchilada, it wasn't even cooked. The tamale was a pasty pile of masa stuffed with ground beef trying to pretend it's a tamale I would recommend a specialty plate like my quests ordered, they were a step above subpar or just don't go there because if you can't serve a traditional standard menu item that is good I vote for finding another place to give your money to.
