When you visit the taco grill if you can get them open, you'll find generous portions of food. The prude is prepared well and the service is friendly enough. Go here if you want an average experience dining at an average small local restaurant. read more

Wow I have been gone in Europe for a while and I missed Mexican food. This was the right choice ... birria tacos .... Fresh pico de Gallo and chips !! Wide variety of drinks , glass sodas ,and small Mexican style snacks / ice cream /candy . As authentic as it comes. Pleasant staff little boy helping his family work the counter was nice to see. It's cash only so come prepared. read more

I love that place! I have been several times since my first visit and the tacos are awesome! It's located right next to a gas station, with a Mexican grocery store and a tattoo shop on the other side. They also sell candy, snacks, and drinks up front. You can add & mix your meats in your order but please make sure you have cash on hand as they are a "cash only" restaurant. read more

We drove here on a Friday night. However, a sign on the door says "cash only" and we couldn't afford to go in.

The owner and his wife have ALWAYS been attentive, nice, and welcoming to my family. We never have a problem with the food and it is always fresh and hot and delicioso!!! Authentic Mexican Cuisine is so good! read more

Such a hidden gem! From the outside you don't expect much but the inside the food is always wonderful and the service is always great! I love the street style tacos the food tastes very authentic! Very reasonably priced! read more

The owner is a true gentleman. He works hard and it shows. Food is very good and well prepared. Tacos are amazing and chips are freshly prepared per the order. All of his salsas are fresh as well...be sure to try his tomatillo tomato salsa. Uniquely delicious! Unfortunately as nice as the owner is he is very inconsistent with his opening times and days. I've just driven 45 minutes to find the doors closed again on a Sunday... He will probably wander in around 4 o'clock, long after I have left the area I'll be in for a delicious lunch. Sad that he cannot get up out of bed to Keep the hours that he posted himself as "business hours " read more

Awesome freaking tacos the best takes a couple minutes to get them. You pack them up take them home and they're perfect. I've gone there like 10 times. It's where we go to get our tacos. They are incredible. They're very nice. They're super meaty fresh toppings. We love them. read more

Delicious! Don't let the sketchy gas station vibe throw you off....this place is delicious and authentic Mexican food. My husband lived in San Antonio for 10 years and he was 100% blown away. They only take cash...but it's VERY worth it. Give this family business a try! read more

10000% recommended. Service is slowest of any local business but ill gladly wait. I love Taco Grill.

We love to get tacos here! Very yummy! Don't let the size of the place fool ya! Give it a try!

If your looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the best place to be! The owners are nice and they are busy, the food is definitely well worth the wait. I come here at least 6x a month and has never been disappointed! read more

Best Mexican in Spartanburg hands down. Authentic, made from scratch, respectable food! The man who owns this place is the only one cooking so it is a bit of a wait, but good food doesn't come pre packaged and takes time. Food is extremely flavorful. This was my first time here, but will be back frequently (even though it is 20 minutes out of my way) read more

Don't let the humble exterior fool you this place is top tier. Authentic mexican food for a great price. Can't get much better than that.

They are amazing! I would give five stars but they DO NOT take cards (Cash Only). Food there is bomb Try it!!

Oh my goodness! This place is so BOMB! The food is all made fresh while you wait. This of course means you're going to wait, because these only one dude back there whipping up some of the best medical food I've had since we left California. The only thing is they don't do well if you would make any changes to the order. Example....and this steams my husband every time....they put that weird cheese on their burritos (I think it's a southern thing cause it happens everywhere here) so he asks for without queso every time and gets it with queso every time:( BUT....still! Fresh tortillas, yummy meats, this place it ligit for sure! read more

Good authentic Mexican food. Very reasonable prices. Good variety and always fresh and hot.

Best tacos around hands down ! Yes it takes a while to get your food , yes the hours are a bit odd , yes it's cash only but I assure you if your patient and go in expecting a little wait you will not be disappointed. The owner is a true gentleman and cares about taste , presentation, and food quality . He has been a chef in Mexico/US for nearly 40 years and it shows . Everything I repeat everything down to the chips are cooked fresh . read more

This restaurant is clean , and family friendly. Great food and real authentic Mexican for a good price. I absolutely love this place!

Best text place in boiling springs. Only cons is that they only take cash. Sometimes their store hours are not correct

This place is absurdly good. I strongly recommend checking this place out alone or with another person who doesn't mind meals being staggered. This is truly a one man show so meals come out one at a time. The owner is very kind and is happy to add/subtract things from items. The veggie burrito without cheese plus avocado and salsa is beyond delicious and the size of the plate. The pricing is very very reasonable here so I try to leave a generous tip. read more

I have eaten here with my Family many times. We have never been disappointed. You may have to wait a few minutes for your food but I can assure you that it is well worth the wait and the food is not expensive. They also have the best Lengua tacos I have had. read more

Great! Loved this place to eat and have fun. Friendly staff with a good selection!! Awesome

This place is a joke. Even pre covid they are NEVER opened during the times they have listed. I have tried to eat here 6 times now and EVERY single time they have been closed. I guess they decide to open when they feel like working or when they need money. read more

I used to live right behind the place and frequented often. I locked myself out of my apartment one day and the owner let me borrow his ladder to climb to my balcony to get back in. Even the O'Reilly Auto next door wouldn't let me use their ladder, that's how nice this owner is. He gets busy with orders so make sure to call your order in with 20 min advance and enjoy the best tacos in the Upstate. If you want authentic chorizo then this is your place for sure. read more

I used to like this place until I noticed that they discriminate against Hispanic customers. They offer chips and salsa for the dine in customers but only if you're not Hispanic. read more

Look no further for authentic and flavorful Mexican food. I live a mile from here and come at least once a week. A large assortment of Mexican drinks, tacos and popsicles that are so delicious. The prices are very reasonable and cash is preferred. You need to drive by to make sure they're open as it is ran by one man and his nice family! I love the casual "come as you are" atmosphere and the kind service I always receive from their family. Chicken, carnitas and steak Tacos are my go to and I like the chips with hot salsa. I only wish I had tried it sooner! read more

This is my second time today eating at Taco Grill. The first time was great and I even suggested for my family members to try it. In which they have become avid customers. Today, my cousins and I decided to eat here for dinner. I clearly ordered and stated that I wanted the fajitas and chips (my cousins can attest to this). They tried to give me some nachos and when I told her this is not what I ordered, she tried to argue with me. After sending the food back, the chef came from the back to "tell me" to be more specific when I order and that it will be awhile. It is not my job nor my fault your daughter did not take my order correctly. That was about 20 mins ago, I'm still waiting on my food. I should honestly cancel it but the food is great. However, it's obvious they need some training on how to be professional and not arguing with a customer. Bad customer service can easily close a business. If this was a corporation I'd call the higher ups, but I guess since they own it they think they can talk to anyone any way they please. I was in a good mood today so I did not go off as much as I could. If they could act like this with me, I'm sure they've done this to other people. read more

We love this place! Wish food took faster to make but it is worth the wait! We usually order to go. We really enjoy the beef tacos, chicken tacos, and chimichanga. The queso is so so good. Keep up the wonderful work! read more

This is real homemade mexican food right here! I had a steak taco mexican style and the steak was flavorful and delicious and the corn tortilla was fresh and warm. The green sauce was flavorful as well. I also go an al pastor taco that was out of this world! Loaded with meat and cheese. If im ever back in the Spartanburg area this place is a must vi read more

They are closed contrary to their posted hours, its 12:37 pm and closed. Ready to eat lunch and starving.

Great food! Great prices! You come in and order and take a seat.. You get a large amount of food for a great price. The food is grilled right then so there will be a little wait but really worth the wait. Really fresh. I am gluten sensitive, so I get corn shell tacos. read more

Great food!! Takes awhile after you order but Javier the owner prepares it and makes it right! He treats you extra special he goes above and beyond to take care of you! If you are close it's worth the drive! Highly recommend it. If you order a chimichanga it is huge! We split one and the alambra fajitas large helping actually you get lots of food no matter the order and it's fresh. read more
