I have been travelling across the country, and when I do so I like to avoid chains, instead sampling the local food of wherever I happen to be. However, sometimes there is just not the opportunity to do so. This was one of those times. I got into town late after crossing Death Valley, having narrowly avoided one of the wild donkeys that roam around this part of Nevada, particularly at night, and managed to get the last room available in the Stagecoach Hotel and Casino, the same place that houses this Denny's. Having just ridden through town on my motorcycle, I knew what was available. I was tired and needed to simply wind down without any extra riding for food, so Denny's was the place to be for me that night. Walking to the restaurant, you have to go through the main floor for the casino at the Stagecoach. Of course, it is laden with cigarette smoke, which is unfortunate, though it does appear that the casino is doing its best to filter out the smoke as quickly as possible... it is just impossible to keep it all suppressed. However, the restaurant is located down a small tunnel in the building, and they have done an excellent job of removing the smell of smoke from the restaurant. Really, I couldn't detect it again until I walked out of the restaurant, down the tunnel, and back into the casino where I got hit by the wall o' smoke that persists. I was seated at the bar (per my request) as it had the best light for me to read by. There was friendly banter going on between the wait staff and kitchen, which is always fun to watch. Laments about tables that tipped a pittance (really people... tip your wait staff properly!) were thrown around, not directly at me nor so that I could directly hear, but I have very good hearing and I pick up on these things. Not a negative in my book, as they were keeping it discreet... I just love to watch and listen to the flow of work that occurs in restaurants so these are things that I notice. I ordered the T-bone steak with mashed potatoes and corn. The steak was good, though perhaps a bit undercooked from a medium rare... it was more rare than I think medium rare should be. The mashed potatoes were tasty, as was the corn. No complaints at all about the food... it was standard Denny's fare that did not have any downsides to it. So... if you are in town or staying in the hotel and need a bite to eat, Denny's is not a bad place to go. read more

Came to dine in. 40 mins later no one has been sat down. There's 2 groups in front of us. No one has been greeted. I get it with covid things have changed so I tell my friend. They're probably full. It's 47 capacity. Friend tells me there are 22 people sitting down. At this stage there are about 11 people behind us now. Lady who was seated approaches the waitress and had to ask for her coffee. Seems even the people who were seated weren't getting helped either. At this stage I'm beyond annoyed and we cross over to the subway. The server there said this Denny's is notorious for having to hang around for ages to get service. read more

While the food is very good a this particular Denny's, I'm on here to compliment our server Fantana. We arrived at dinner time where the dinning room was nearly full. We were expecting to get slow service due to our server working alone. We were pleasantly surprised that we received excellent service! Fantana is an excellent server. We visited Death Valley National Park and stayed in Beatty mid December 2022 for 2 nights. Since there isn't much around, we had all our meals at Denny's which is located inside the casino. We had our breakfasts and dinners there. Service were wonderful. Our wait staff - Emily G, Carmen D, Katana R and Rubicelia S were all patient and polite. We ordered the usual breakfast with special request to have crispier hash brown and they delivered. I had salmon for dinner on both nights because it was so yummy and well done. Delicious and not over cooked like in most restaurant. Seriously didn't expect that but totally enjoyed all our delicious meals. I promised them that I will write a nice review and so here we are. Where else can you go with a party of ( 2) where you have to watch the other person eating while you're still waiting a half hour to get your food served. How can they fuck up something so simple. Whoever that chef is needs to be replaced immediately. They'll never get my business again. read more

Went to Denny's with a large party close to closing after a high school football game. They were the only place open. We were met with great service by Eddie our waiter and it was a great experience, food was good and service was great. Highly recommended. read more

Passing through Beatty and wanting a quick lunch, we figured that you can't go too wrong with Denny's. You also can't go too right, either. There's nothing particularly special about ANY Denny's, including this one. This particular restaurant is inside a tired looking casino on the north end of town. The food itself was what I expected -- the meatloaf wasn't bad and neither was my wife's grilled cheese sandwich and soup -- except that the only soup option was chicken noodle and a grilled cheese sandwich screams for some kind of tomato soup to go with it (although tomato soup was not on the menu ANY day of the week). Service was lethargic and we were seated in a booth even though I am a fairly large guy and there was little room between me and the table AND there were also actual tables available. The servers seemed disinterested in providing more than the actual minimum required for acceptable service and never checked on our needs for refills. As I prepared to write this review, I saw the were better options in Beatty. I wish I had chosen one of them instead. read more

We had 14 people at our table on Sunday Morning of Labor Day weekend and the waitress Rubicelia ROCKED IT! Food came in a timely manner and it was really good. Plus she had other tables to serve. She never missed a beat on refills for us or her other customers. She even gave eCh couple their own checks. Lots of diners must have just come in. Place is almost filled and Staff warned us the food was coming out in 40-45 minutes. The staff is hopping around and highly attentive to the diners tonight. Everything the many servers could do to help with anything short of going back and helping the two cooks get the food out faster. Mediterranean chicken with rice and mashed red potatoes was great. The food hot except for the cold cheese and tomato on top. My sister's sizzling bourbon steak platter was super hot but she loved the taste. BIG downside is that this diner is in the back of a SMOKE FILLED, NO Air Movement low end casino. Even my smoker sister hated that walk through to get to the diner. I don't smoke and it almost made me turn back. I left a good size tip as the servers were all cheery, helpful, and did everything to help the diners. read more

Terrible service. Slow, unfriendly. My toast came without butter, and when I told our server she looked puzzled and then said she would bring me some. She forgot. My husband had to go ask her for some. The food was good aside from butter not being able to melt on the toast. read more

" They Need to Look at the Details " My wife and I visited the Denny's Restaurant located in the Stage Coach Hotel and Casino in Beatty, Nevada three weeks ago, and did not have a good experience. First of all my wife had a cup of coffee and she noticed a 1/2 inch piece of old cheese stuck to the inside of the cup. It was gross. My wife almost through up ! Then my wife ordered the biscuits and gravy breakfast which came with a horrible tasting boxed gravy sauce, with no flavor. My wife did not eat anything ! I specifically ordered crispy bacon on my breakfast, and it came very soft. I would not recommend this location to eat a meal if you are in Beatty, Nevada. read more

I visited Beatty NV on business and ate at the dennys multiple times during that stay . One of the things that kept me coming back was the amazing service from the waitress... I believe her name was Yesenia . She's was an absolute doll . Service was outstanding food was good . All in all I would make this my "Go To Eatery " ! read more

The wait staff actively avoided us. No eye contact, nothing for 15 minutes waiting to be seated. Then 40 more minutes to have our order taken. There were very few people seated in the restaurant. When we did get our order taken, they were out of 1/2 the items on their very small menu. We tried to be polite, however this was seriously bad customer service and food menu preparation. The worst that we have ever experienced. We do not advise eating at this place. The manager on duty 7/10/2021 on the dinner shift needs to be dealt with. read more

We went there last night for dinner. Drove there from Amargosa, Nv. It's about 64 miles round trip. Very sorry now that we did. Food was not very good. It took over an hour to get our food after ordering. A few people walked out because they waited so long. I carry Lysol wipes in my purse. I always wipe down tables when we get somewhere. The table we sat in was no exception. The table was filthy. My mother ordered Country Fried Steak dinner. The oil they cooked it in was old and rancid tasting, smell was awful, potatoes were cold, gravy was cold. She couldn't even eat it. It was nasty. Father ordered Salmon, no taste, potatoes also cold. We told the waitress how bad food was. Whether she told anyone, we don't know. I can't believe as big a restaurant as Denny's is, that they don't have enough common sense to change their cooking habits and use fresh oil and ingredients to prepare meals. Denny's in Pahrump is no better. We won't go back to Denny's at all. It's sad because I have been eating at Dennys for 40 years or so. This Denny's is inside a casino, which, to my surprise, smelled very little of the smoke and cigarette. Food was pretty good - for the price and the atmosphere. Service was slow though. But considering the options in a casino, this one is probably the safest option. read more

Stagecoach is a strange place where you will lose money. However being in this small town that is pretty much void of many comforts, this Dennys is great. It has no windows, so the overall atmosphere is pretty bleak. But when you need food, and you don't have many options, this is a great option. The food was on point, and they welcomed me like a proper customer. We got some chicken tenders which were cooked perfectly, along with a side of honey mustard. My server Nick, whom I saw at Happy Burro, was very helpful, and made sure that my coffee was fresh and the food came quick. read more

We are traveling for a week through Nevada went in to get my family lunch at Denny's there was literally one cook one server and one hostess minus the clock the server and the postest IE the manager we're standing around and they told us it would be 20 minutes just to get seated and then additional 20 minutes to get food they had one table in front of us and I noticed that the only thing she managed to do and the time that we walked in the door was take their drink order she hadn't even taken their food order brought us back our drinks and then walked by your table 4 times so we ended up getting up and leaving and going to Subway because their service was so slow and when we got up to leave and say we were eating somewhere else the manager simply said oh I'm sorry no excuses you're the manager you need to be helping your team if you see that your service busy get up and take the customers order don't be lazy turd read more

Dear Lord. First off, when I decide to go to a Denny's, I accept that I am signing, unwrittenly, an understanding that I about to experience underwhelming food and service. It's meant to be cheap and convenient, not fine dining, and you get what you pay for. I respect this business model. However, THIS Denny's is pushing abomination status. As the only restaurant attached to this hotel/casino, you'd think these guys would recognize the potential market. Just push out mediocre dishes and polite service, and hotel guests who are too tired to drive anywhere else will come by default. This was the category we were in our first night in Beatty. Sadly, they couldn't even manage that. We began with nearly 45 minutes waiting for a table in a restaurant where maybe 25% of the tables were occupied. Excuses flew about how overworked they were, but we saw a lot of people just standing around or wiping empty, clean tables. Add another 35 minutes for the waitress to come by and take orders, including for water. The food sucked, but we didn't really care at that point. On a positive note, it was somewhat of a bonding experience for us and the other 4 tables that were occupied, since we collectively felt like refugees. read more
