I touched base with the shop to let them know I was working on finances. As I was trying to come up with the large sum of money I was able to find another shop to repair for almost 600 less. I called today to have it towed and they would not release my vehicle until I paid diagnostic fees that totaled $162. Despite multiple communications between Art and I not one time were any diagnostic fees talked about. I wasn't told when I called to let them know it was coming. It wasn't discussed when he provided me with estimates. It wasn't discussed or disclosed EVER. It was two separate fees. One to tell me my alternator died which I knew before I even had it towed there and told him that. The second was a fee to visually inspect my tire and joint. Please stay away from this shop. This is shady business. Be up front and professional with your potential customers when you provide them pricing. Listen to other peoples reviews also. I didn't agree to a fee. I didn't sign anything saying id pay a fee and it was never ever talked about. Had it been id completely understand. People do not work for free and I get that. But this was just wrong In response to the person below NEVER, NOT ONE time was a diagnostic fee disclosed or talked about and you're a liar if you say you told me that. The reason i am only giving 4 stars was because the person who took my call and gave me the wrong prices even after I clarified the vehicle 3 times and they repeated back to me all the correct vehicle info and still have wrong pricing setting unrealistic expectations. Even though their phone etiquette and professional service was great an issue like this tends to over shadow the positive. When I told them I think I could do better at my local credit union, thats when the finance manager/sales manager or whoever he was came out to meet me. He stared me in the eyes and asked me "what exactly are you trying to get here?" When I told him I thought I could do 1% better at my credit union, he said "I just got off the phone with your lender, they want to give you that extra percent off" Obviously I was skeptical, but it's what I wanted, so I took it. Then he sneers at me and says sarcastically, "Is there anything else you want? A hoodie, a couple t-shirts, some air fresheners?" That guy was furious and didn't hide it well. After driving 120 miles we arrived at the dealership and were informed the cars in question were now managers' demo vehicles with close to 5000 miles on both of them. They had not been cleaned or detailed. In addition, prior to arrival it had been communicated that there were $9500 incentives on the vehicles AND the Nissan 0%/60 months financing. At the dealership, we were told it was incentives OR 0%/60 months. We had phone calls and text messages indicating we could do both. When pressed about it, they said they could do it. After writing up the deal and presenting the final figures, the salesperson came back and said he had made a "drastic mistake" and that the incentives and special financing could not be used together. The general manager did apologize for the confusion and miscommunication, but no other accommodations were offered. We left extremely disappointed and jaded by the whole experience.
