Steven Dennington is a TERRIBLE communicator. I've used them for two years, was willing to put up with the poor communication for one more year because... If and when they finally get to you, it does look great. They are trying to really push the LEDs and push back on the traditional lighting. They tried to invoice me last year when they hadn't even put the lights up. We came from Dallas where the service was seamless and effortless. I may have to just get on FB and see if I can find someone who is more reliable and actually knows what going on with their business. If I ran a business like this one....I would of been fired. I've been literally trying to talk to them since August 2nd when I was going to add a substantial set of more lights on a garage apt and guest house. Sent pictures and everything and got radio silence. They sent me an email (Mid October) as if I hadn't already communicated (2) months ago in August saying I could have exactly what I had last year if I wanted and I said yes, but they said...but you can't have what you had the last two years. You'll have to go with LED lights. I said, what about the additional lights? They said send us some pictures. I replied I sent you those pictures 2 months ago? And.....No response! This is the third year I have used Dennington decor to decorate my roofline of my house. The service and quality of work seems to have steadily improved every year, and this year was the best yet. The guys who hung the lights were neat and meticulous about spacing and neatness. I have plugs on either side of the house, and they made sure no cords "showed" or were unsightly. Two of the bulbs immediately went out, and they came to fix them and left me some new bulbs in case they went out again in a place we could reach; however, no bulbs went out again. We have really enjoyed our lighting this year! The roofline lighting is so high that my husband and I wouldn't try it....plus we don't have a ladder that tall. They were great throughout the whole process. I have used them for the past 3 years and will continue to use them. I used a couple other companies in the past and they are by far the best I have used. My preference is using the old style Christmas light glow of traditional lights. My last company stopped using these lights so I changed to Dennington Decor. Their process was very simple. I called and left a message. They got back with me very quickly and were able to give me a quote by pulling up my house on Google. The installs go fairly well, on the first year they missed their original day they would come due to rain, but made it the next day. The lights shined great all season and they have always given us a time frame when they would be back to take them down. I wish more companies are as classy as Dennington Decor. read more

I think the service is a little pricey but the result is excellent. The crew that came out spoke with me before beginning work. I knew exactly what was going to be done and they knew how I wanted everything placed. The lights along our ridgelines and roof edges are spaced so evenly it looks like they used a ruler everywhere. There are no dangling wires or anything out of place. This is a beautiful effect. They cleaned up completely, leaving no debris or clips or anything behind. I may re-think my pricey comment since I was required to make zero investment in all of the bulbs, wires, extension cords and the like. Not to mention a huge beautiful wreath which hangs at the peak of our garage. Regardless, we are very happy with the result. Dennington did an excellent job with installing our lights. We are the envy of the neighborhood and have received so many compliments from neighbors. It also help us in meeting our neighbors showcasing a beautiful conversation piece. They explained how to use the app and download additional programs. They helped us trouble shoot problems and understand what to do in a power outage. We just love love the variety of programs for various light patterns. We can customize our own and there were youtube videos available to walk us through each program. We never have to put up or take down another string of holiday lights and we have a program for every holiday including birthdays. This is our 4th year using Dennington Decor and we have not had issues like some of the other reviewers. We tend to keep our Christmas Lights simple and show the installers pictures from previous years as to what we want. Are there clips left in the yard, sometimes. So big deal, pick them up. Do they use extension cords that might be visible during the day? Yes, but you cannot see them at night. They try to hide everything but during the day you will be able to see everything, not a big deal. Over the years we have had bulbs go out and Dennington Decor always sends somebody out to replace them. They are not the fastest with responding because I don't think this is a big company but if you are persistent, you will get an answer. We will keep using them. read more

They were kind, professional, respectful of our property and performed quality service in no time. Every year Steven contacts us early before Thanksgiving to schedule our service. Because of this I never have to worry about our outdoor holiday decorating. It's all done for us and one less thing I have to handle in time for the Christmas season. Dennington Decor did a fantastic job with our holiday decorations. They were able to give me a quote over the phone. In addition I asked for some additional decorations (a large wreath) which they were able to place just going off my description of the desired placement. They completed the installation in a day, and they really did a great job. They gave me notice when they were getting ready to come and take down all the decorations which they also finished in less than a day. They didn't leave one trace of the work they did. Steven and his team do a very good job with our house each year. They come early at our request and get the lights up quickly. They remove them later than normal also at our request due to January birthdays. Always accommodating. Whenever we have had lighting problems, they have come out immediately and dealt with them. This included restringing due to inadequate amperage in one of our circuits. No charge to us even though it wasn't Dennington's error. Definitely recommend Dennington, especially if you have a more complex lighting job (front and back of house, trees and lawns, etc.) read more

This is my first experience using Dennington Decor after using other reputable companies in the past. This year has gone on without a hitch. The office was nice and friendly and I got my quote within minutes. They said they were booked for over a week out, but still got to my house within 3 days! I was thrilled!
