Gossip and Gloss is know for their dry Russian manicures. These focus on cuticle work. They take extra care to always make sure your manicure turns out perfect. I found Vinci on Yelp and just so happen to know a few people that have left them great reviews. After confirming they offered the service I like, I made an appointment on their website. It was super easy and they had availability just a few days later, which was great because I tend to wait until the last minute. I arrived right on time and they were there waiting for me. I was getting a dip manicure with nail art and I also needed the dip that was already on my nails removed. When I showed them my nail art inspiration they were happy to figure it out. While that meant trying a new technique for them, they were all for it. I'm pleased to share that the results looked amazing and I'm super happy with them. I'll totally go back. I'm in dire need of a pedicure so I'm sure it won't be long before I return. A few things to know before you go... There's a parking lot out front with more parking on the street. They are happy to serve you alcoholic beverages if you'd like. It's rather large with plenty of chairs. They have another location in Upper Arlington. In my 15 years of having acrylic, dip, and gel nails, I have never had a set removed without soaking in acetone first. During the service, the mother was recording me from her pedicure chair after I noticed her repeatedly texting the daughter about me. As a result of improper removal, two of my nails now have exposed raw skin (see attached photo). She used a piece from a new set to pry off my old acrylics, severely damaging my natural nails. The experience was painful to the point that I was crying -- and I was still charged.
