If you go to Master Auto all you're going to get is empty pockets, they are charging $170 an hour…read morewhich they don't tell you when you drop off your vehicle by the way, I went in there to have three things done one of them being somewhat major my tea case needed split and a weak fixed. I told them it was because of a pinhole rubbing problem inside the t case that happens underneath the pump I told them exactly where it was going to be what the problem was everything the other two things were simply take a court of ATF out of my transmission and put a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer back in, and change my spark plugs and wires. When I dropped off my truck it had three quarters of a tank of gas, and I left them for 12 packs of soda for doing the complete job as a thank you now 2 Days later I get a call saying there's a hole in your TKS and there's nothing we can do about it, and do you realize how thick that Lucas oil stabilizer is his exact words were I am not going to sit here and watch it drain down the tube for 3 hours those were his exact words I'm sure he would have charged me for those 3 hours of sitting around too, so he denied to do that after accepting the job.. FYI you put the Lucas oil stuff next to something warm like in an engine bay and in 10 minutes, guess what it pours out just fine. They then told me I could come and pick up my truck it was ready to go and they had changed the spark plugs and wires. I got down there and he charged me just under $400 and in the end all that $400 got me was a plug in wire change out.. they put down 2.5 hours of Labor time just for the spark plugs and wires, and my truck went from three quarters of tank of gas to a quarter a tank of gas.. so what you guys do use my truck to run to the parts store all day? At $170 an hour none of this should have been an issue none of this should have taken place and I should have been able to go in pay what I was supposed to pay which would have been around 1,200 bucks and drive my truck home happy. Don't come to these guys unless you just need an oil change, battery change, oh and I guess we won't forget about spark plugs hahaha

I had an appointment for tire changeover this morning…read more I went to the Swanson Ave location. Driving along N. Tommy Moe Dr. an employee got out of his car from the parking lot and ran out into the street right in front of me so I had to hit my brakes pretty hard to avoid hitting him. He darted into the employee entrance door in the back of the building. This guy literally played frogger running into traffic. I went to the tire shop. There was a sign on the front door that said the tire changeover is to be checked in at the front desk of the other building. So I went to the other building. The skinny white woman at the counter mumbled when she spoke so I couldn't tell what she was saying. She also barely moves her lips when she speaks like a ventriloquist. She was very grouchy and rude. I was able to decipher that she was telling me that my appointment was at the other building and pointed to the building next door. So I walked over to the building next-door, which was the building I had initially went to with the sign telling me to go to another building. The ill tempered Burnett lady inside told me that I need to go back to the first building and pointed me towards the other building. I told her they had just sent me over here. She turned around and walked away. So I begin walking again across the parking lot towards the other building and this time a third employee with bad posture was walking out the door and met me in the parking lot. He told me that there was another location near Carrs where my appointment was. (He was also rude And grouchy as well, but at least he told me what I needed to know. This information would've been helpful at the very beginning).

Called on Thursday morning on 1/15 for an update, no service advisor available, message left with nice lady who answered the phone and someone would call me back. No call back. Called again on Monday morning 1/19 and again, no advisor available, message left and someone will call me back. Again, no call back. Called Tuesday morning 1/20, no one available and someone will call me back. Did get a call back and was advised that they just found out from my warranty company that the part is not covered. Asked when was the claim filed, last week I was told when the truck was looked at and the warranty company just got back to them today. I asked why not call me when you found out, busy was the response. Got off the phone with the warranty company and could not call the client right away to let me know. I called the warranty company and tracked the claim on line, the claim was not filed until today, 1/20 and response was almost immediate according to warranty company agent. So, no keeping the client up to date with what was going on, no returning calls and giving misguided information to when the claim was filed. Have my truck for almost 2 weeks with nothing being done to it. Their Customer Service needs some major help. Treat people the way you want to be treated when you are having something serviced. Be respectful of people.

Complete incompetence, from estimate through repairs... including the absolute worst customer…read moreservice that I have experienced from any business. Due to the subpar estimate of the damages, the correct parts weren't ordered. The vehicle was with them for a month for a single panel with a dent. When repairs were completed, one of their technicians drove over our car key shattering it. McKenzie told us that we needed to bring another key immediately because they couldn't move the car and continue to work on other cars. She called shattering our key "a little hiccup", and said that although they agreed to pay for the key replacement, that I would need to bring it to the Anchorage dealership to have a new key programmed. I called the Anchorage dealership to make an appointment, and they said they could not schedule an appointment until the replacement key was ordered and paid for. The Anchorage dealership also said that the car would need to be with them 'all day'. Because we live in Wasilla, this would be a huge inconvenience that required two people from our family to drive to Anchorage and take the time of two people and gas for two vehicles. I don't consider this "a little hiccup" as McKinzie joked about. THEN, the worst part... when I called her back to let her know I had to pay for the key in advance before scheduling the appointment and asked how to get reimbursed, she LITERALLY scolded me like I was a child saying "We can't reimburse you! I didn't tell you that you could pay for the key. I need to do it because they give us a corporate discount". In summary, I understand the delays in getting the bodywork done. This is Alaska and things take longer than expected sometimes. I also understand that they shattered our key. It was an accident, accidents happen. The only thing that made me furious beyond believe was how McKenzie joked about this whole ordeal, calling it a little hiccup, and then scolded me when I paid for the key so that we could make the appointment to repair what they damaged. Her complete lack of regard for the time and effort it looks that it was going to take from me to fix something that they damaged during repairs I'm so upset. Her complete lack of professionalism when she scolded me for trying to get the repair scheduled speak volumes about their inability for basic customer service. I don't think that McKenzie should have any job where she interacts with the public on a professional basis.
