I suppose that's not terribly surprising, considering the number of brilliant Belgian breweries. From the asparagus soup amuse-bouche to last spoonfuls of refreshing Kolonel (a traditional dessert featuring lemon sherbet and icy vodka), we couldn't have asked for a better meal. The scampi melon dish was precisely that: wedges of tender sweet cantaloupe and massive juicy prawns just lightly crisped. The boy's Dover sole came in a hugely generous portion of -three- fillets with a light side salad and heavy cream sauce in a gravy boat. My own Flemish stew was rich and hearty - a good bolster to the cool night air into which we departed. Our server fellow (and possibly the restaurant's proprietor?) spoke reasonably fine English. Prices weren't cheap, but I found them utterly reasonable for the quality of our experience: four beers, a starter, two mains, and a dessert for just ~€75 was a bargain for all the food and drink we consumed. If you're only going to be in Brugge for a night or two, be sure to make a booking at Resto Mojo. It'd be a shame to miss out on such a superb local gem.
