Goodluck finding it open. Been coming here for over 20 years, favorite place as a kid when visiting my grandparents. However, it seems now it's open whenever they choose to be?? I'm from Leavenworth wa which is a destination down and even our prices don't compare with this place. Paying $24.50 before tip for a double with onion rings is pretty steep especially when you get 6 small sized onion rings and a small burger. This is the most expensive "fast food" place I've ever been too. From older reviewers their prices have gone up a bunch with no improvement and even with inflation there is no way I'd even pay this in the city unless you got 1.5x the portions. read more

My recent trip to BL was on a motorcycle. Hadn't been there for about 3 years. My simple order for a Cheeseburger and fries was placed. My $20 bill netted me 1 penny in change. What one assumes to be a roadside burger joint (it is) is now pretends to be a high end, no frills boutique. Even the old picnic tables are gone. The burger was not as I ordered (no sauce) and wasn't as good as they had been over the many years I've been visiting there (Bloomers Landing anyone?) We've ordered from Burger Landing many times and always had a great experience and tasty food. Today was a HUGE disappointment. My boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian burger but was given a Hawaiian chicken burger. The chicken was super dried out and grizzled- parts were inedible. I ordered a cheeseburger, no bun. The burger patty ( if you can call it that ) was as tough as leather... it was so dried out and over cooked that I chose to give it to my dog. We were really looking forward to a good meal and instead were charged for inedible slop that should not have been served to anyone. Burger Landing has lost our business. Firstly know that it is like two steps of walking in then order. It is not a dine in. They have no tables or anything to sit on outside or inside. They have no bathroom or even a portapotty. The food was average at best. I ordered my burger then had to go find a bathroom somewhere else. Was told to go to another restaurant to use their bathroom. When I returned and my husband ordered his food (we ordered separately because of having the dog with us on a hot day) my Husband is asked if he is sure i did not get my meal because they don't have it. They apologize and "remake" my burger. When I go in to collect it, it is not the burger I ordered. I can not eat jalapeños while pregnant because of my terrible acid reflux. I tell them this and they ask "are you sure it's not what you ordered? Your husband's receipt showed you ordered this. Or maybe it's your husband's?" Hubby ordered chicken strips! The receipt had no mention of what was ordered. She may have typed in the wrong order number or receipt number. All in all I waited 45mins for an OK burger it may have been more delicious if we had not felt we were being treated like liars. Will not be returning thank you Amyiah. read more

This place is so good, it's become my gold standard for burgers in Jefferson County. Everything here is delicious. Milkshakes? On point. Burgers? Greasy, delicious pockets of meaty cheesy heaven. There were 3 half gallon cartons of Dari-gold shake mix on the counter that are what goes into the award winning shakes. I ordered one anyways, and it was nothing to write home (or yelp) about. The burger was fantastic for the most part. Bacon had a good savory crunch to it that complimented the burger and cheese perfectly. My only complaint about it was the secret sauce. First of all, 80% of it was on 50% of the sandwich. Second, it was a little too ketchup derivative for my taste. Finally, I like burgers with names... all they have are burgers/cheeseburgers/bacon cheeseburgers, no names with any flare. Our other family members, who grabbed food across the street, were fine. Unfortunately, this is the second time I've gotten ill after eating there, and I cannot recommend them at this time. His burger was carbroiled black burgers and bun. I took him back to get a new one. When I got home to eat mine. It was the same way. Not even my dogs would eat it. Love the onion rings and fries and my favorite is the patty melt. Nothing fancy here. Just good eats and fast service from this funky joint in Port Hadlock.
