Demo's grille appeared at the Dublin Coffman for food truck Wednesday last week and I can honestly say that I have never had such an amazing lamb gyro. The pita was warm and fluffy, the meat was seasoned to perfection, and the toppings were more than you could ask for. Let me not forget to mention the proportion of tzatziki sauce in the gyro was PERFECT. Every bite was filled with the perfect amount of each ingredient and the presentation was attractive. I ordered a side of fries with my meal and those were quite delicious as well with a special blend of seasonings covering the outer crust of each fry. All in all, I will 100% go back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great gyro. read more

I've had this food truck twice and I ordered the Gyro both times. Both times that I received the food, the Gyro was cold/room temperature. I want a Gyro to taste like it just came off the grille. Because of the lack of temperature in the food, it seemed like the Gyro had very little flavor which was big let down. Especially when you are really hungry and looking forward to lunch. read more

I stumbled upon this food truck because my apartment complex hosted it one evening. I am a big fan of Mediterranean food so I was excited to try it out. The menu is straight forward, which is always nice and prices are reasonable. While looking over the menu, I asked what the difference was between the regular chicken and spicy chicken gyros and was told the spicy one comes with sriracha mixed in. I opted for a regular gyro (lamb) and greek fries. The greek fries came with some seasoning, feta cheese and greek sauce on them. The man working cooked all the food fresh, including dropping a single serving of fries in the fryer. It was ready after just a few minutes. Honestly, I was surprised at how good the gyro was. The pita bread was extremely soft and had some butter on it which added to the deliciousness. My only quarrel is I wish I would've gotten extra greek sauce on the gyro. The fries were delicious as well. Like I said, this food truck was surprisingly really good and I would definitely get it again if I see it out and about. read more

I ordered a gyro from the food truck. There was a bit of a wait but considering that one guy was doing everything, it was not bad at all. He was busy! My gyro was very good tasting and had a lot of meat. I wish it had had more vegetables and sauce but that's probably the opposite of what most people want. He gave me fries with my gyro and when I told him that I hadn't ordered fries, he told me to keep them at no charge so that was nice. Made my husband happy. read more

When I heard the Greek accent; I knew the food would be good. Got the lamb gyro and it was delicious. I stood there and watched him carve it off the food truck size rotating shawarma (always wondered how they make that hunk of rotating meat). Fresh ingredients. What surprised me was the sauce on the fries. It turned them into a fork-only meal onto itself. I'm craving them now. Good people. This food truck was at my complex today (Albany Landings) and I was honestly just desperate for food and didn't want to do delivery/pick-up or cook. I just finished a run and was NOT feeling picky, so my expectations were little to none for whatever I ended up grabbing. Little did I know, I lucked upon the best Greek/Mediterranean food ever. I got the lamb and beef gyro and it looked AMAZING as the gentleman prepared it and somehow tasted better. Great size for the price. I got a piece of baklava and THAT was also better than it looked (and it looked wonderful). I was tempted to go back for seconds just to enjoy it all over again. Sometimes I get a little bummed with takeaway food because it always feel heavy with sodium or grease, which hides flavor (or subpar ingredients) but not this food truck. I felt great after eating this. I hope this food truck comes back to my complex, but I would and will go hunt for it in the future! read more

This is in regard to the food truck - quickest I've ever gotten a spicy chicken filly. Just one guy handling multiple orders in perfect multitasking. Just took my order while cooking and said 'I have a good memory.' Anyway the spicy chicken Philly cheesesteak was fantastic. Gooey flavorful cheese, tender chicken, roasted onions and peppers, and some heat. My wife raved about her regular philly. Fries were delicious, tender steak fries. I know this will seem petty, but a lot of food trucks forget the Mayo and ketchup. The food truck one man show reminded me that they exist. Wife was super happy - she loves her 'fancy' sauce which is just Mayo And ketchup. read more

Just tried Demo's food truck. I was a bit hesitant to try Mediterranean food (the lamb especially) from a food truck. Guess what? I was happy that I got over myself really quickly. I've only had a couple of food trucks that didn't pass the mark...this one wasn't it. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and tender. The Tzatziki was the perfect consistency and not too garlicky like it can sometimes be. He was in our neighborhood...made a last second dinner decision and gave him a try. Wow, very surprised...honestly the best gyro I've ever had. My wife and son opted for the chicken teriyaki gyro. Just as good...reminded me of Street Treats when I was a student at the University of Akron. Generous portion, fair price. Perfectly seasoned lamb, I think he did some magic crisping it up a little before serving. The lettuce and tomato were legit garden fresh. My only regret was not grabbing some baklava. This gyro centric food truck spends most of the week in the Lowe's lot off Fishinger, but can also can be found on South High and on Lane Avenue during football games Saturdays. I go here sometimes for lunch because the preparation is fast and the food is good for a low price. It offers basic grille stables; Philly sandwiches, gyros, hot dogs, coneys, brats, and Italian sausages. I think they will grill a burger too though I have never ordered it. As said, when not busy the time from order to serving is short, saving time on a break. Their hot dogs are nice whole beef franks cooked completely. Brats and Italian are serviceble but don't make my top 10 list-- tOSU games collect the best in the city for those wondering. Gyros are the hit here. The regular lamb, chicken, and steak are all good. My favorite is the teriyaki ( yes teriyaki not tzatziki) chicken gyro. Based on a thick fresh pita with flavorful feta and well kept veggies, this treat meets the mouth with Mediterranean juiciness and Chinese zest. Fries here are thick and acceptable. It is not athunitic of coarse being a grille, they don't tender meat on that upside down cone thingy, but for the price of a fast food meal this food truck can fill the stomach with higher quality. read more
