They were both delicious but I would want to try different flavors in future trips. The creamy cilantro sauce is a staple of any legit Venezuelan food spot & this one did not disappoint. Aside from empanadas they don't carry a whole lot more. Just those, taqueños, smoothies & drinks. I appreciate their main deal is empanadas instead of those just being part of the menu, but maybe some small sides or snacky items would make it feel like more of a meal. The empanadas are made to order & you are given a buzzer, which is nice so you don't have to wait in the heat or cold. Don't worry, the wait isn't more than 5-10 minutes depending on what you get. The service is friendly as well. As someone from a country w/ a deep empanada culture (Argentina), I am always looking for authentic places in Columbus that carry them, even if the fillings, doughs & cooking preparations are so different from country to country. Limited menu, just empanadas, as you'd expect, but a wide variety of those. Different kinds of beef, sausage, chicken, pork, shrimp, cheese, etc. A few drinks. I got a ground beef, a sausage, and a pabellon, which is shredded beef with black beans and plantains. Served up piping hot in a box; those three pretty well filled it. Open it up and there are napkins and sauce, plus each empanada is in a paper sleeve with the flavor printed on it, a nice touch. And they were amazing. The dough is thin but sturdy, and flaky, and tasty on its own. The fillings are lightly seasoned, and there is plenty of meat (and beans and plantains in the one.) Just excellent. I wasn't starving so I ate about half of each; two would probably be a solid lunch for me. They'll keep well, I expect, so I'll finish them for supper. Service was super friendly. Took about 10 minutes to come up; they give you a pager. Careful going in and out; the lot is tight and the streets can be busy. I will definitely be back.

Today, I finally gave it a shot--and I'm so glad I did. Everything we ordered was AMAZING. The food? Incredible. The atmosphere? Warm and welcoming. Our server was fast, funny, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Even the manager came out to check on us, which says a lot. This place is seriously a hidden gem. The prices are right in that perfect middle--not too high, not too low--and the portions? HUGE. Even the desserts don't play around. I would absolutely recommend this place again and again and again. I walked up, got a warm welcome and ordered the 614 Arepa with fries. I have seen all the buzz and pictures about it so I had to try it. They gave me a buzzer to pick up my order.
