I was told they could do what I was asking for. Then was told they could not do it halfway through the appointment. The shape is uneven, and not symmetrical. The acrylic was placed so low, it looks like I need a fill immediately upon leaving the salon. I felt like I was rushed along even though I made an appointment for multiple services. I have never had worse nails done and a worse experience at a nail salon. I made an appointment and was then told I will have to wait a little when I got there. I ended up waiting for 2 hours to get a quick dip change. My nails are naturally long and I've never had a problem with them breaking at any other salon. It took another 2 hours to get my nails actually done - ending up being there for a total of 4 hours. Within a day after I left my nails had already broken and chipped. Terrible read more

Second of all, I asked to take off my gel x and instead of soaking off then going in with the drill, he just drilled down on my nails until they were left brittle and broken. I am extremely picky and critical when it comes to my nails. I'm a huge texture person and if they don't feel smooth and even I hate them and I pick at them until I've ruined them. If any part of them chip or lift I end up ripping the whole nail off. The last set of dip nails I got done lasted five days. I got a dip manicure done here today and I could not be happier. They are symmetrical and smooth and shiny and even. They were done very very well. The staff was friendly and approachable and even the other customers were friendly. I had a GREAT experience. I will come back and add an edit to this if they don't last at least two weeks. So no news is good news. read more

Left my nails broken and terrible with one bleeding. I went in for a full set of acrylics and showed the lady exactly what I wanted. But at the end, you could see my real nail and all the glue she used through the nail. I asked her to fix it and she gave me every excuse for her not fix it and said she couldn't. It seemed like they had all the materials to fix my nails and even give me what I wanted originally, but I guess she just didn't want to, so she glued a whole nail on top of mine. she should have specified that it would not look like what I wanted RIGHT AFTER I showed her the reference pics. The end of the nail was even messy and did not look good. None of my cuticles or any other surface was done on the nail. I asked to put a darker color on and she couldn't because it was "too thick." In the end, she gave me the ultimatum: leave, or take them off completely which she said would take an hour. But I knew she only said that to get me to pay and leave without getting my nails fixed. Of course I asked her to take them off, but she completely ruined my nails while taking them off. She chipped them and even made one bleed!! This could have been avoided and she definitely knew from the beginning it was going to turn out like this, but still said nothing. She didn't care and neither did the shop and it shows. Worst nail salon I've ever been to, and I will never be back. I was the only person in there the day before Mother's Day and there was no wonder why every other salon in Mashpee was fully booked for the day. Because everyone knows to avoid this place. Charged me $65 for a set of gel nails with one simple color polish and short length no special additions at all. On their sign it says $50. He cut my fingers multiple times with his electric file which hurts and even as I was trying to pull away he held my hand there. Wish I could rate this a zero! Please don't waste your time and money! I came for a simple v tip gel manicure and was treated like garbage. I showed a picture and explained the colors over and over. It was really basic and not only did they do it wrong, but they "fixed it" by filing off the color, then painted over it leaving all the bumps from the filed off paint. Then they tried just repainting over it and still wrong. It looked horrible and believe me I am not a high maintenance Karen. They looked like a toddler did them. Got a mani pedi by the two owners husband and wife. Wife did my pedicure and it was great. Husband did my fill and it was terrible. Not only did it literally hurt when he was trying to take off my acrylic (never has it hurt before) but I felt so rushed out of the salon and my gel nails don't even feel dry. I asked for a fill and he insisted I needed a full set. Then stopped half way through and charged me for the full!!! Not to mention the polish is all over my skin not just my nails and my acrylic isn't smooth, there are clearly air pockets. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a nail salon (I get my nails done every other week) I was visiting from out of town and requested SNS. The owner was beyond rude and brusque on the phone, and was similarly so on arrival. He ordered me around very rudely. I had to soak my nails off before the service and asked for a ten minute massage while I soaked. He laughed at me, said "no" and walked away. Once he began the service, he used a different color on my pinky nail, decided it wasn't what i asked for, and rather than removing it, he just dipped over it (I had requested a basic shear pink). The pinky nail is a different color. When I mentioned this to him, prior to him completing the service, he grunted at me and proceeded to keep dipping my nails. When the service was completed, I told him the pinky nail was a different color again...he stared at me and told me it looked the same. He was also extraordinarily rough and aggressive when filing, so not only are my nails a different color, but my cuticles are ripped up so badly that they burned when I washed the dishes later on that evening. I have never experienced an experience like this before at any nail salon I have ever been do. I will never be back, and will have to go to my own salon to have the color changed so that all ten of my nails are the same. read more

I've gotten great powder dip manicures at Deluxe Nails many times in the past. I just got a gel manicure which I've never gotten here and my nails look AWFUL. My cuticles were roughly snipped off (which was painful) and my nails were filed unevenly. I asked to have them cut a little shorter and my manicurist who is also the owner went ahead and cut them all way too short and again uneven without asking me about a good length. The polish was applied all over my cuticles which I pointed out. The manicurist then took a nail file and the mechanical drill to my cuticles/nails to remove the polish that looked jagged only to further destroy my painful inflamed cuticles. Upon getting home, I called and said I was unhappy and was wondering if I could come in to have them fixed to which my manicurist replied "we're full today. Not my fault that your cuticles grow over your nails, were busy now call later" and hung up on me. What a waste of $30. Very disappointed because I've known Steve and Jolie for years and I'm really upset with how this situation was handled. Will not be back. read more

I went there for a pedicure and I was the only customer there and thought the owner was extremely rude. The pedicure was just OK. I decided to give them a second chance and went for a gel manicure. Again I was the only one there and the same person was extremely rude. Additionally it was the worst manicure I had ever received. He was very hard on my nails even when I asked him to lighten up. He was filing my nails and skin at the same time, never asked my preference about shape. Very rushed very sloppy and he charged me extra to remove the gel. He has a sign posted for gel manicures at $35 yet he charged me $40 and said five dollars for removing my gel. Perhaps he knew I would not tip him. My mani and pedi were beyond terrible - not only were the technicians extremely rough with my nails (I winced several times during the pedicure because it was legitimately painful), but the end result was awful. There is so much polish pooled up around my cuticles, stray polish all over my toes (I had to ask several times before leaving if someone could please at least remove the polish that was all over my skin), super uneven nail shape, - as soon as I left I had to make an appointment somewhere else to get my nails redone. When I tried to say something I was immediately interrupted. Also, I watched them "clean" a few tools after another customer had left, and that consisted of a very brief rinse with cold water and throwing the tools right back into a drawer - so unsanitary! read more

I booked a mani/pedi Thursday. The pedi went well but when the technician began my manicure she proceeded to pressure me to upgrade to gel or quick dry product. I politely declined. I have very thin and damaged nails from gel manicures and I avoid this product. She persisted to the point that she was literally belittling me for wanting a simple manicure. She basically called me an idiot for not upgrading. I left the salon nearly in tears. She was so mean and nasty. I called the salon to talk to the owner. He hung up on me TWICE. I went in less than 5 days ago for a full set and a manicure with gel polish as well as a pedicure with gel polish. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I went to this salon as I needed them done ASAP as I had an event and my usual place was booked (my fault for waiting til last minute). My pedicure was at best 15 minutes including gel polish and she did very little around cuticles of my toes, and no removing of dead skin/small callouses from feet. She applied polish and sent me to the chair for manicure and full set. Absolutely no manicure at all!!! Put on full set after I asked about manicure, he said not needed. Jump ahead until Sunday, I look down at my feet as I was putting shoes on and almost all of polish is gone, remember it was gel polish and light was used. I called this morning (Tuesday) only day I could possibly go, to ask to have polished replaced as I know especially gel polish is supposed to last longer, and asked what time I could come in, he asked what do I want, I replied 1:00pm as I had my grandson until 12:30. I arrived at 1:00pm sharp, he tells me I was down for 12:30 to come back later. I told him I couldn't as I had moved other appt around so I could get everything done today. He then said "can't help you" I said really ? You told me 1 now you can't accommodate? Not to mention I now have an infected finger since going there and wasn't going to say anything because I can not prove it's from him even tho I know it is. I will show picture. I did notice halfway through my appt that they were using instruments and files that he pulled from his draw leading me to believe they don't sterilize anything. It cost me $100.00 for this terrible experience and now have to go to my original salon and pay again for wedding next week as well. I would not recommend this salon at all. Very disappointe. the first visit consisted of me walking in to interrupting the owners nap. Then after I chose my color (from the color options) the woman brought over a different color. I told her that was not it, but they did not have mine so we went a different route. Then I asked for a matte top coat and while having my nails done, I hear the two women going back and forth using the word "matte" repetitively. So just as she was about to do the topcoat, I asked if everything was okay with it. She proceeded to tell me that it was $5 extra, for a top coat... that they do one your nails anyways... and she was not going to inform me? So I did not get it because well, principal. then in 3 days my acry mail came off completely. I went back and was helped by a different person. He cut my skin and didnt even ask if I was okay, shaped my nail horrendously, had to ask for him to try again and it still looks awful. Will not be back. read more

Just walked in to get a manicure/pedicure. They wouldnt even stop to say hello or greet me THE CUSTOMER! So I stood there-they argued in Vietnamese and finally asked how I could be helped. I have to say I was speechless, I have had pedicures before, but this was amazing! I was in the chair (which is wonderful) for 20 min each leg, getting the the most amazing massage and soak. This is my go-to nail salon in Mashpee. I live here year-round and love seeing the familiar faces of Steve and Jolie every time I visit.
