A day after $60 pedicure, my toes were chipping. The owner has a problem, not keeping her opinion to herself, has what she thinks a smart response for everything. Compared to other places I have been in the metro West I was expecting more for the nail bar that is ranked us the number one in Hyannis. Not sure if I'll come back. Not sure what my choices are. The nail art leaves a lot to be desired. I really wanted to love it. That said, the nail tech was nice. And they all try to be approachable. The owner is cute but just has a "think she's so smart" attitude. Pat her on the head. The salon is comfortable and they keep it clean. Handled a power shortage well, but no wifi meant pay cash. A friend suggested I try, but was not able to do a walk-in. The Manager was RUDE and indifferent. I made an appointment, then decided to cancel and go elsewhere. Went with a friend to try again. The same manager - same passive aggressive behavior. He pulled a girl out of the back room to do my nails. She hurt me on the first two tries. The manager was disgusted with me and threw up his hands and said, 'too sensitive'. He basically kicked me out. They couldn't be bothered to take a less forceful approach. BEWARE. I walked into this salon expecting to enjoy my first mani & pedicure there. The salon was almost empty (first red flag). A man sauntered over. I told him I had an appointment and asked whether they could apply acrylic to a damaged nail. He huffed and said, "We can't do that.". I said, "Okay, we can work around it," at which point he said: "We don't want you here. Please leave.". I was flabbergasted, as was the customer listening to the conversation. I'm a year round cape cod resident. I have been coming to this nail bar for years. They do a great job!! It is clean and relaxing place to get your Pedi or nails done. Make a appointment and know what you want done. Don't forget your flip flops if your getting your toes done!! They don't rush you in and out ... like other nails places on the Cape. It's always scary going to a new nail salon. But I've found myself staying in the cape more often and needed my nails done urgently. I took a risk at this location and got a dip manicure. It was done VERY well. Felt that my cuticles were taken out a good amount and were as thin as I like it. The photo I posted was a couple days in. The owner was very helpful in finding my color and making sure everyone was doing things correctly. He did seem stern but I don't know why people took that in a mean or rude way. I think that's just how some people are. I felt he was very professional. And at the end of the day my nails came out beautifully Very happy this will be my go to spot when I am in the cape. read more

I've been going to Fresh Nail Bar for 2 years now. For the first year only requested dip manicure. Salon is the cleanest I have ever been to and the nicest people. I always hated having a pedicure (only had one prior in my life - my feet are very sensitive). Had hip replacement surgery last fall and had to get a pedicure. I was excited to check out a new nail salon as I'm really picky and always have to look at pictures and reviews when trying out a new nail place (I normally go to the same one because every time I try a new place I seem to regret spending my money there) we'll I didn't get to try this salon today because they are closed. They left a paper note on the door saying they will be closed for Easter even tho it's now 5 days past.... This wouldn't be SO upsetting if it weren't for the fact that the only warning of their closing is posted on their front door. I checked their website after to see if they updated their website with their closed hours .... They did not. Finally! A good nail salon on Cape! It's a bit of a hike from where I live in Brewster, but totally worth it. It's a new place and I saw it advertised on Facebook so my mom and I decided to give it a shot. We didn't have a reservation so when we walked in they asked if we would make an appointment and come back in a bit. We ended up waiting a little longer than our appointment but the owners were fantastic and accommodated us. The owners and staff are all very friendly and very professional. The place itself is beautiful. So clean and welcoming. Very light, bright, and modernly decorated - very spa-like. It's organized really well with the mani stations in the front and a separate pedi room in the back. The chairs are new and comfy with the option for the chair massage. They have tvs in the pedi room, but they are muted and there is nice relaxing spa music playing throughout. They have cute little menus describing their services and packages. Linh was my nail technician and did a wonderful job. I opted for the eucamint spa pedicure which is a soak, scrub, mask, hot towels, lotion, and leg massage. Amazing and totally worth the extra few bucks. They really do a great job and take their time making sure you're having a great experience. I'll definitely be telling all my girlfriends to come here! having gone to Fresh Nail Bar for over three years with great satisfaction , giving recommendations to many friends was shocked when my request for appointment was told none available for several weeks with no explanation I waited several weeks tried once again no call back after leaving a message Tried again and was told by Andy he had a cancellation and come to salon in 15min. when i arrived was rudely told i was late and he couldn't take me. Went there three times. First time gel manicure was terrific. The woman, Kim, did a great job. Second time the woman, whose name I don't know, was rough, and cut me with the cuticle cutter. I asked her to be more gentle and she acted like she didn't understand what I was saying. The third time I went to this shop was for a pedicure. The woman did a great job and was lovely. The shop itself is state of the art and uses very good products. I found it awkward/rude that all the employees were speaking to each other in a language that wasn't English. read more

I've been seeing Tammy for months now. She's amazing. I was getting gel manicures for quite a while but I could never find someone who was as meticulous nor as adventurous as I was about trying new colors, colored French manicures, trying new styles, etc. I began doing gel manicures for myself and my daughters (and had been for the past several years.) I decided to treat myself to a powder manicure at the Fresh Nail Bar after hearing about this newer product and am so very grateful that Tammy was able to fit me in all those months ago. I was planning on going to get a pedi at my usual spot today and had stopped in this plaza to go to the grocery store. I was walking by and saw that Fresh Nail Bar was having a grand opening special of 20% off. I was not sure if I wanted to try a new place out but decided to look anyways. Wow. I am so glad I did. Here is the scoop.... Environment They opened for business earlier that morning and I was their 3rd customer. The place was immaculate, although it should be as it has just opened. Soothing music was playing. The decor was grays, whites and greens and very well done. There were no flashy nail posters, just flat screen televisions on mute with subtitles running. Personnel The staff was ready and eager to please. They explained their menu of services. What impressed me the most is that after the pedi, they throw away the file, buffer and scrubby thing and everything else after a single use.They use tub liners and sterilize tools after use. They even offered me a bottle of water. Fanny did my pedi and she was lovely. She gave a good massage too. It did not feel rushed and the entire pedi was made even better by their massaging chairs. Management obviously went all out on good chairs. This chair was like a THRONE! In total, I believe they had 12 pedi chairs! All sparkling and brand new. One side note... their debit card machine was not hooked up and they insisted that I do my my pedi and that I could then come back after I hit up an ATM and give them cash as I did not have enough on hand. Cost A basic pedi is $32. This is $7 more than I typically pay. In the end, I would definitely come back again. The extra $7 is worth it for the cleanliness, kindness and the CHAIR. The only con I could find (and I looked) was that the bathroom, although clean, it needed to have the trim painted and the baseboard heat was looking pretty tired. Although they do good work, I will NEVER bring my business to Fresh Nail bar again. Time and time again, the owner is completely rude, talks down to you, and completely insults you to your face. After multiple frustrating interactions with terrible customer service, this evening he went way too far. He referred to a female as a male multiple times because she had short hair, and then insulted her straight to her face about her appearance. After explaining to him that what he was saying was insulting, he could have cared less. Was in town for a wedding and stopped here based on reviews. It was a good experience. She took her time on my nails and the gel polish lasted over 2 weeks. My only con was that when I handed my card to them to pay I asked if I had to add the tip before or after and they said they don't take card tips. Apparently they are short staffed. Got powder dip, apparently from a new tech. She applied 3-4 coats powder, resulting in an thick, curved, unnatural appearance. I have been a few times and had ok experiences. Today I made a last min apt and they said they could take me. They didn't even touch my legs it was not a normal pedicures that I have received several times before. Barley touched my feet. Did not take any of the dead skin off. I paid 34 dollars to essentially have my toe nails painted. I would have much rather them told me they didn't have time to take me then to rush and skip a service and charge me full price. Andy, Tammy and the rest of his team have extremely high standards to make sure you are completely thrilled with your experience and that your nails are beautiful. The Salon is spotless, and relaxing unlike the crazyness of there Salons that try to accommodate to many people at once. I always try to make an appointment even though they will take walks in. I prefer an actual Spa experience rather then an over crowded shop. I have been going to the Salon for about eight months now and I would not go anywhere else. Personally I don't recommend coming here to get your nails done. Yes it's cheap and they do nails fairly decent but the manager and staff are so rude and treat customers very poorly.
