Mixed feelings about this place. I came here with my Mom, so we obviously had 2 different nail techs and why there is mixed feelings. I had a female tech who did a good job, was very attentive, and gave a perfectly good pedicure. It wasn't great, wasn't one of the best I've had, but nonetheless, I can't complain overall. My mom had a male tech, whom gave a pedicure of the complete opposite service. He wasn't attentive at all, was extremely rough and hurtful with the nail trimming, filing and especially with the cuticle tool and his own long finger nails. He gouged her a few times with his own nails and jabbed her a few times with the cuticle tool. She kindly said something, and he did apologize, but then continued on in the same force, where she had to say something again. In the end, we won't be back. read more

I felt as though I was bothering the staff when I walked in, even though I had made a reservation. No one greeted me, even though they made eye contact and definitely saw me. The man who did my gel manicure started to remove the old gel polish before the acetone could really do its job. He started scraping off the polish with his really long, dirty, ragged thumb nail! So gross, and he was causing me a lot of pain. He acted very annoyed and put out when I requested that he use an actual cuticle pusher because it was hurting me. I gave him a good tip despite the crappy service. I have never returned, why would anyone give that a second chance? Not me! read more

Me and my buddies all agree, this place probably gives some of the best pedicures/massages all on cape cod! Definitely would recommend this place and would be coming back again. We came in with 4 people and made reservations few weeks in advance and when we arrived we were greeted and set up fairly quickly. I walked in and they were fully committed for the day, I was offered an appt the following day and happily took it. While driving home I received a call asking if I could turn around and appt had cancelled so I went back and got a great pedicure The atmosphere is very zen, quiet and peaceful Can't say enough about that alone being a huge bonus. I love this place. Drove down from Brewster because no one else had availability for my daughter and I and I'm so glad we did. From the outside I was a bit unsure but do not judge a book by its cover!! The inside is bright and clean, the choices are infinite and the technicians did a great job. Best of all though was the owner. The owner is very professional yet super friendly and genuine. He is a translator as well so it was extremely easy to communicate with the technicians. He also walked me through different options noting the pros and cons. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Oh and there's an adorable dog too. Go here! You're welcome :) read more

Went for the Express Pedi, made an appointment on the phone. Arrived and was asked if I wanted to upgrade to the basic, I said no, the Express please. I sat in the chair and had my feet in the water and the nail tech asked, Basic? And I answered no thank you, the Express, like I said on the phone, and like I said when I arrived. The technicians all talked to each other during the Pedi, often loudly across the shop, which was both annoying and unprofessional in my opinion. My tech aggressively buffed my toenails AND cuticles, actually causing my cuticle to bleed on one toe. (See pic, still scabbed 10 days later) Instruments brought over to me were on a paper towel, so I don't know if they were sanitized. After she was done with them, she swished them in my used water, and put them back on a paper towel so I'm guessing that's all the cleaning they got. After cutting and buffing, she asked if I'd like lotion, and I said sure. Lotion applied and took maybe 30 seconds. Once my nails were being painted, the owner told me from across the shop, You got a basic not express. I replied, I denied you 3 times for that upgrade, I wanted express. She said, Well, she ask you for lotion, you said yes. I said, She never said it was extra, or I would have said no; and I'm only paying for the Express, like I've told you 4 times now. My grade for this shop is a C-. One star for the polish which is still unchipped 10 days later. Negative points for attitude, deception, cleanliness and ambiance (no music, no TV) Express Pedi $25. Basic Pedi $35 must include the 30 seconds of lotion. I won't be returning. read more

The salon has amazing color choices for your nails where the dip and regular polish match. The first time I went the technician pulled the incorrect bottle of dip and my toes and fingers did not match in color (they apologized). I wasn't offered any financial consideration. I decided to try them again as I really liked their color selection. The second time it was great until the employee's dog ran over my pedicure and my smudged nails were "fixed". Which was a blob of color and no topcoat. I laughingly told my husband that the third time would be the charm and I booked another appointment. Sadly, I was halfway there and they called to tell me that my nail tech had a flat tire. I had somewhere to go (which is why I wanted my nails done) in the afternoon and they said they couldn't accommodate me until the next day. Three strikes and you are out. We were able to do a walk in on Thursday. The host was very courteous and was able to fit us in for one manicure and one pedicure. Our technicians were amazing. Their attention to detail is amazing. My pedicure was very therapeutic and I asked her for some free hand art and it turned out amazing. My friend was very pleased with her manicure. Her almond shaped French tip looked really nice. The business is fairly organized and clean, they were very flexible and worked with us even though we were on a time crunch. Made us feel really welcomed and comfortable. The shop may be modern and clean and the staff may be nice, but the product is very uneven. The pedecure was ok-- just ok. The quality of the nail service was mediocre at best. I had them do a full set with dipping powder. I'd never tried the product. Ten days later i was back after losing two nails and having several others lift. They explained that dipping poŵder was not as strong as acrylic. The implication was that i'd been too hard on my nails. I opted for a full set of acrylic. One week later, i am back because one nail popped off while i was folding laundry and others are lifting. I am only having them replave the one. The tech doing the replacement repeatedly looked at the other nine nails that look terrible-- most lifting around the edges and glops of acrylic material on the under side. I am on the cape to care for a dear friend who passed after a difficult few months of illness. Several of us were rotating responsibility. I usually come to the cape with hands and feet already done. This time i had to rely on reviews . If i am here for another week, i will be keeping an eye out for nice looking nails on service staff and emplotees where ever i go. I suggest you do the same and be willing to travel to another town if that's what you learn. I could not post with zero stars, but would have if it were an option read more

Based on a recommendation I saw on another website, we made an appointment at Yolo. The results were far above our expectations. Tee is incredibly talented.
