After moving to the Mashpee area 5 years ago I have tried a few nail salons with great disappointment. On a recommendation I tried Beauty Nails recently and I am just thrilled ! It is clean, and they use fresh liners for every pedicure! They don't have a big staff so I would suggest calling to make an appointment (Note- I have been there twice now and I was able to get in same day both times, although Summer months may be tougher) They also have a great selection of Polishes. I feel the prices are very reasonable. The standard Pedicure is $ 35. and the Luxury Pedicure is $47. I felt the standard pedicure was great. It is my belief that most people that go to a nail salon are there to relax, get pampered, and get their mani/pedi done.If the owner/ manager would smile , at all, it might make it a pleasant experience. I've been here a few times because of the convenient location. While my mani/pedis were good, there were a few drawbacks. It seems like they do not replenish their nail polish often enough, as a lot of the polishes available seem pretty old. I also would enjoy my pedicures more if the staff didn't rush it, a sugar/salt scrub for my legs and feet was included, ending with a foot and leg massage. Ugh, big fat nothing! If I could give NO stars I would. I'm on vacation and just wanted something quick and easy while my party got their quick haircuts next door. After waiting 15 minutes, I was told it would be another 5 minute wait. Had to leave. Also, pricing was absurd!! I'm from California so it's not like I'm not used to high salon prices but really, an $11 polish change?!? NO. Shellac manicure would have been $30, ok normal I guess. Extra $5 for French, ok. I have been coming to Beauty Nails for three years. I like to have Hang do my pedicure and manicure. She is friendly and skillful. I have had other technicians who are also good. I did have a previous problem with an ingrown toenail so I now have Phat check because he has given me good advice to prevent them. The salon is very clean and orderly. Unfortunately this seems is the most convenient spot for me, so I have been here at least a half dozen times. Not sure why I keep making the same mistake! Most recent pedicure was 3 weeks ago. My pedicurist didn't speak English, which is usually not a problem for me, but she put an ugly pink coat on top of my french pedi polish. I was in a hurry to get home for my wedding shower, so I didn't have time to stay and have them fix it. I did make a comment about it, in front of the other employees, but I didn't pursue it and no one offered to help. In the past, the polish I have gotten just hasn't lasted as long as other places. I have also been charged something like $18 for a shellac removal. Worth going a little further to find a better place! read more

I walked in for a pedicure last month. I can honestly say I will Not be back. Price point was great however this proves you get what you pay for. Pedicure was over in 15-20 minutes. He clipped my toenails. Never filed to shape and never pushed back my cuticle. It was a Sunday afternoon and 4-5 more people tried to come in and they actually said "we can't take you. We are closing early". I hope they see this review and learn from it to improve their customer service. read more

Awful, the manicure was only 15 minutes long. He didn't clean or clip my nails. He did however cut me and cause my cuticle to bleed. I asked for them short and he filed a couple of my nails, they are all different sizes. The polish was sloppy and instead of removing it, he just kept putting more coats on. I left because they started closing early. Went back today and the guy started to just put more coats on, in a different color! I finally convinced him to redo the polish and unfortunately it's just as sloppy and uneven as it was before. I thought they were playing a joke on me... It's all fun and games until somebody loses a toe. Beauty Nails and I had a good run. Then I got Edward Scissorhands. He dug at my toenails so hard they bled, and he cut them so short and rounded the edges so much that I have been having recurring infections on two toes for two months. I don't know why this place gets a bad rap! Went here recently with my mother in law. I made appointments in the morning for the afternoon around 4:30. My mother in law was running late and the staff was super flexible! It was busy with people constantly in and out. I didn't feel like my appointment was rushed and the nail tech Aini, did a beautiful job (gel mani and regular pedi). I went here to have acrylics put on for my wedding. What ended up happening is that the man kept going over the same spot on my finger nail with his buffer and caused it to break completely through my real finger nail. As you can imagine this was extremely painful, but when I said something he said "too late". I brought my mother and daughter here for mother's day pedicures, and they were so awful that I should've walked out and not paid. My mother's toe nails did not get cut or even FILED after she repeatedly asked for them to be. Though her paint job looked great. I, on the other hand, left there looking like I hadn't had a pedicure all winter! My feet were still dry and peeling, and my paint job looked like a 5 year old did it. And my pedicure took a VERY long time. I feel like the young man that performed my service had NO idea what he was doing and just faked it. The staff was quiet, unfriendly, and noticeably different than I was used to in past visits. I wanted to not pay and not tip, but that's just not in my character. I felt like complaining would have gotten us nothing but an inexperienced redo and they had already sucked up so much of our day doing nothing.
