I have been getting my nails done for six years now and I have been to more nail techs than I can count. I can confidently say that the male nail tech at this salon is hands down the best I have ever had. From the moment you sit down, you can tell that this man genuinely cares about his craft and takes pride in every single nail he works on. The level of attention to detail he brings to every appointment is unlike anything I have experienced anywhere else. I get super long nails, which I know is not easy to work with. Most techs I have been to in the past will rush through the process, cut corners, or just clearly want to get it over with. Not him. He takes his time with every single nail and makes sure everything is smooth, even, and flawless. There are never any lumps, bumps, or imperfections. Every time I leave, my nails look like they belong in a magazine. He clearly has a deep understanding of his craft and it shows in the finished product every single time without fail. What also sets him apart from every other tech I have been to is his attitude. He is genuinely kind, patient, and welcoming. I have been to salons where the techs make comments about the length I get or give me looks like I am being difficult for wanting what I want. He has never once made me feel judged or rushed. He treats every client with respect and makes you feel comfortable the entire time you are there. He actually pays attention to YOUR nails specifically and what works best for you rather than just doing the same cookie cutter set on everyone. That kind of personalized care is so rare and I appreciate it more than words can express. I will never go to another nail tech again. The owner is super sweet! She seems to be pretty booked, and well loved. I was booked with the younger man and I'm sorry but he did an absolute horrible job. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years and he's been the worst. They were too think, the shape was inconsistent with each nail, acrylic was applied too thick. I really wanted to like this place. I went someone else after a week and a half and after removing the shellac we noticed air underneath the acrylic and discoloration. NEVER had this happen before. It looks like the other employees do good jobs, but I cannot recommend the younger man that did mine. read more

Friday July 1, 2022 @ 11am This was my first time at Nail Spot. Toni the male nail technician was pleasant and friendly. Toni did my pedicure and he gave me such a great foot massage that I could of fallen asleep . Toni clipped my toe nails to my liking and I got a french pedicure on my toe nails as I love this look. Toni did such a beautiful job on the french pedicure. The price was cheaper here than at other places I've been and the foot massage was better too. Overall I had a wonderful experience at Nail Spot. Which isn't a bad thing but a hello would be nice. He shaped my nails and once he finished on hand I saw they weren't what I wanted or liked so I asked if he could file them more. Not only did they handle a 7 person wedding party like champs, Claudia took one look at a picture I showed her and did the design better than the picture. Actually less than 1 star. Called ahead for a Pedi. Hanna said come right down. Got there she said 5 minutes. On my phone not realizing the time, 45 minutes later still nothing and took a woman that came in while I was waiting but I didn't realize it until I was walking out. It didn't matter appointment or not, last time I went there I had an appointment for 4:30 and left after they closed.at 7. My bad for staying but when your nails are 1/2 done not much choice. I love Hanah! I drive all the way from Boston (45 mins to and hour) just to have her do my gel acrylic overlay. They last over 3 weeks which let's me know she does a fabulous job! The nail spot used to be awesome I used to go to them years ago when they were in Walmart and I even went to them when they were in their new salon on Tyler Ave I guess it's not so new anymore but the last time I tried to go there they told me they can't do what I want and so I tried to give them another chance today and they said the same thing I asked him for a design and Hannah says, no only one of these two men can do your nails not me. Terrible experience here I walked in hoping to get my nails looking nice for a wedding I was in the next day. I went in asking for a French manicure and painted pedicure. The lady I had was aggressive and rude, continued to pull my arm towards her and made rude comments. She would not do a French manicure because my nails are too short but made no effort to recommend acrylics. I don't get my nails done often and wanted some advice but got constant attitude instead. She ended up just painting my nails and barely touched my cuticles and I could've done a better job at home than what she did Then it was time for my pedicure. She cut my cuticles too short and I now have open cuts around my toes and even almost a week later my feet still hurt. I'm not one to give reviews but do yourself a favor and find a different place. I love the place and the people here . The place is very nice and cute. I however did get a allergic reaction to the product they used for my acrylics. It could just be me but I have been to a lot of nail salons and this has never happened before. I had gone for My first pedicure. When I left I was so very pleased toes looked so pretty. Couple weeks later I removed Polish. To my surprise my toe nails now have a fungus. I'm new to the area and trying to find a new nail on for pedicure and gel manicure. The Nail Spot is Very small and definitely need an appointment. My initial reaction when I got there was it looked dirty and i wasn't sure i was going to be happy. I had an appointment and had to wait about 45 minutes past my appointment time to get started. In the end all tools are clean and i was pleased with the pedicure and gel manicure. Reasonable process.
