This place is awful. I'm not sure what had happened since the last time I was here a year ago, but it's a complete disaster. 1 1/2 for a gel manicure after booking an appointment for a pedicure and manicure. As it turned out, I waited so long that I only had time for the manicure. Painful and just over all dirty and altogether terrible. Never again. read more

I would give Sky Nails zero stars is if possible. Just finished receiving possibly the worst gel manicure I have ever received (see attached photos). I was rushed through my manicure, even though I called ahead and scheduled and appointment. The manicurist slapped on the polish and shoved my hands in the gel nail dryer, not allowing them to fully dry. The nail polish bubbled, was streaky, and wouldn't stay on my nail. But apparently it was my fault because I didn't put my hands in the dryer all the way inside (trust me, they were fully inside the dryer). The salon is dirty - covered in dust. The tools used were unsanitary- covered in black and brown gunk. The staff was so unfriendly, barely greeted us when we walked it or said goodbye to other patrons. Also, unless you like bright pink, orange, blue, or brown color on your nails, bring your own color nail polish. Despite having a wall full of nail polish, the color selection is beyond disappointing. PLEASE be warned by this post and do not go here. I live in the Boston area with a home in Falmouth. I know how a good manicure is supposed to turn out, and this is not it. read more

I am writing for two reasons - one this is not a shop that is proud of its work. The owners are far more interested in making money than in quality service. As the owner asked if I had cash! Two new customers who will not be repeats due to shoddy work, terrible customer service - in my manicure I was cut twice and because the technician was far more interested in the incoming customers - forgot to file one hand! This is just two or many reasons not to choose this nail salon. My second reason for writing is to the salon owners - be more aware, clean your tools, use good product NOT old. There are far too many nail salons out there not to be one that stands out for good not BAD! read more

I went for a pedicure yesterday morning. I get gel polish on my feet every time and know how it should look. I am also a licensed cosmetologist and know what and what is not sanitary. The tools they were using were very unsanitary and used the same toenail clippers that they had previously used on my friends fingers. My cuticles are not pushed back on some toes and the polish is not distributed evenly all around. There's some spots where it is clear to the nail and all over my skin. The second thing is that I have MULTIPLE cuts on my toes. The technician saw a hair on my toe and tried to pull it out with cuticle nippers and ended up grabbing onto my skin when he did so he laughed about it and said "oops" when he saw blood. You are never supposed to cut someone's living skin with any implements and he did the complete opposite. read more

Staff was very friendly. Family owned and operated. Did a great job on the acrylic fill. Clean environment. Plenty of parking.

I almost felt that I was imposing on them to give me a pedicure. Every so often the tech would ask "How is the pedicure"? The stone massage was nice but the cuticle care was haphazard. There is a plastic spoon in one of the creams that the tech uses to spoon some out but she touches the spoon with her gloved hand that has been all over my feet and drops the spoon back into the cream receptacle. I never feel the love when the techs talk among themselves in their dialect....are they talking about me? Before I return, I will check out other places in Falmouth. read more
