I'm writing this follow-up because Drew's defensive response to our original review on August 26th…read morewas both disappointing and unprofessional. Instead of addressing our concerns, he chose to deflect them. I want to be clear about why we left the review in the first place: to share our experience honestly and to warn potential customers about what they may encounter if they choose to hire Just Installed Now. We recently hired Just Installed Now to install a mini split. However, the unit never cooled properly--it only blew warm air. Drew's "solution" was to suggest I call a contact of his to add refrigerant. When I brought in a separate licensed technician, the issue was obvious: the valves had never been opened during installation. Cost of original work: $1,050. At the same time, Drew was also hired to install two ceiling fans (one ordered from Amazon, one from Decorprice). Both shook and wobbled immediately after they were wired. I had to point this out to Drew, who seemed unaware of the problem. He blamed the manufacturers and offered to return once new fans were ordered. After repeated delays and difficulty getting him back, I replaced them myself--only to discover the original fans had been installed incorrectly. Cost of original work: $775. And although the work was completed nearly a year ago, we only recently discovered serious safety concerns with the two subpanels Drew claimed to have "replaced." Instead of properly installing new panel boxes as invoiced, he only swapped out the internals--likely because the new boxes didn't fit between the existing studs. Rather than doing the job correctly by opening up the wall and making space, he took the easiest shortcut and left us with sloppy, unsafe work. On top of that, he wrapped multiple grounding wires together under a single terminal and reused mismatched breakers--including some not compatible with the "new" Eaton panel. The result was not only misleading and overpriced, but a clear safety hazard. Cost of this poor work: $2,100. It's also worth noting that Drew became increasingly unreliable with scheduling--often arriving late or not showing up at all. This wasn't an issue early on, but by the end it became a consistent and frustrating pattern. I don't normally leave reviews, but this pattern was impossible to ignore. What we experienced was overpriced, careless, and unsafe work. For anyone considering hiring Just Installed Now, be warned: there are far better, more reliable, and safer options available.

After a couple of weeks we had an appointment for them to come fix the issues with the service and they cancelled only after we texted to see where they were today, literally no communication - super hard to get a response from in order to have a follow up in the first place. Now we have to pay another company to redo the work we already paid for to fix improperly installed AC , over $1800 wasted.

I felt very comfortable having him in my space and was impressed by how he even neatly labeled all the breakers for us. He found the outlet to be defective (20 years after installation) and then checked the remaining kitchen outlets. At our request, he replace all three outlets. We also had Adam examine a porch outlet which would switch off when our Weber electric grill was plugged in. Had that replaced as well. We had purchased a new smoke alarm from Home Depot, and we Adam replace the old one since he had time available before his next appointment. I was delighted with Adam's willingness to deal with all of the items on my electrical "to do" list. While we have had a home warranty service since we purchased for our home, we have not always found the service people sent out for repairs to be the highest quality. We have been searching for an electrician that we could call to handle non-warranty repairs and home improvements. Adam has become our new go-to electrician and we have already talked with him about upgrading our under-counter kitchen lighting to LED units. We found Adam very professional, explained things in simple terms, and found the cost of the service call reasonable given all of the work done. I intend to keep Castle Electric on my speed dial for future electrical needs.

As a first-time homeowner without a trusted electrician recommendation, I was starting from…read morescratch--and I'm so grateful I found Sal & Son's! During the inspection process, my real estate agent contacted Sal to evaluate the electrical wiring and panel in my 1975 home, including the aluminum wiring and needed outlet updates. Sal came out and provided three quote options upfront, clearly outlining the proposed work and estimated cost for each. My realtor and I greatly appreciated his proactive approach, which helped me understand my options before moving forward. After I moved in, I hired Sal, and he has been a stand-up person from the start. He takes the time to explain what I need to know as a new homeowner and walked me through the breakers in my electrical panel. Beyond the electrical updates, he installed a light fixture and recessed lighting in my living room--which I absolutely LOVE! I've since had him back for a third visit to install new ceiling fans. Sal and his assistant, Juan, are hardworking, communicative, respectful, and kind. They listen to their clients' needs and are a pleasure to work with. Finding someone reliable makes such a difference as a new homeowner, and I'm thankful to now have Sal & Son's as my go-to electrician. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship, clear communication, and dependable service!

I also needed an outlet installed in the hallway where there were no outlets near by (also with own dedicated circuit) John was quick to call me and schedule an electrician to take a look at what i needed. Robert came within hours of the call and gave us a fair quote for the work. We got 3 other quotes and they all seemed in the same ball park - $1200 to $1400, based on the work (i don't have an attic, so a lot of cutting) but Green Electric gave the most competitive pricing and the work is insured. We received a first time customer discount as well. We decided on Robert because of his professionalism and amount of knowledge he had on the work and the input he gave us. Robert did a great job. Worked on saturday for about five hours and gave us a drywall recommendation. The weekend worked perfectly for us as we both work from home. Would definitely work with Robert and Green electric again.

Update: since my last post we discovered issues with the wiring done for a tv mount and…read moreinstallation of media box. We had someone else come out to mount another tv in the house and he took a look at what was done and was shocked because he said most of it was not up to code. He showed us the several things that were done incorrectly and could pose a risk which included: wire casing missing towards the end where it implants into media box, circuit was extended by 6 ft so code is that it should've been made AFCI but it was not, the electrical box for the outlet the power was extended from was just cracked and broken to make room for wires instead of using the correct punch out areas (see picture). So we had to have that all completely redone and wasted almost $500 having it done incorrectly the first time. I still think they did a good job on our lights, which they seemed much more confident doing, but if they were unsure of how to properly do the wiring for the TV they should've told us so instead of proceeding to do it incorrectly and leaving a safety hazard. I don't like to be overly negative in reviews of local businesses, but because these things were not up to code and a potential fire hazard I felt the need to update this review.
