When we needed to fill up our three large tanks of propane for our RV, my wife and I called every place imaginable in the area. After a few calls to local gas stations that spoke no English and hung up on us, we found this business. I didn't know if they would fill small containers since they are a larger industrial place, but they certainly did, and they were the lowest price of any place we contacted. I loaded our tanks in the trunk and hurried over there (closing time of 4:30 pm is a bit strange) but made it with 10 minutes to spare. The receptionist alerted someone to come assist us, and a young man had our tanks filled in no time at all. I will say that he didn't seem to happy to have to help us so close to closing time, and was not that talkative. But I won't way he was unfriendly at all. The worst thing about the experiences is driving back home with that kind of propane fueled bomb in the trunk. I found it hard to believe that I couldn't find a propane facility that would repair the valves and recertify the horizontal tanks in my Lance camper that wasn't a minimum of an hour's drive from La Crescenta, LA area. I chose Santa Paula knowing it was a nice drive out Hwy 126, but still, an hour. They were lovely, efficient, well-priced, turned the job over in a day. Also, I found a great place to stop to get my tanks topped up on the way to Ventura ( an often destination) that didn't require a minimum fill-up. I'll see them soon! Overall a great company to get service from. Customers are their priority and they offer a Dump station at the facility. Highly recommend stopping by to get your tanks filled up. However the reason for the 2 star rating is because, if your seeking employment with the Santa Paula office, as I was a delivery driver for many years. Be really careful on what you say or do around the salesman. He seems to be caring and helpful, but doesn't think twice about calling upper management for any little problem. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars I would! My house was burned down in the Woolsey fire. I called and asked them to remove the Propane tank as soon as possible. Not only that the tank is still there today, 3 months after the fire, they are still charging my credit card a $75 service fee. Really? Shame on them! This place is a hidden golden gem! The people are friendly and very helpful. Well worth our drive from ventura! They fill your propane tanks all the way, not like the ones you get for exchange that only have like half the gas. They only charge for what you get. Delta Liquid Energy is a Fantastic place to stop if you have an RV or just needed to fill a propane tank. Right off the 126 in Santa Paula, California, they have propane and an RV dump station with very reasonable prices. For $20.00 you can empty and wash your holding tanks in a safe, clean and friendly environment. If you purchase propane, Delta Liquid Energy will take $5.00 off you dump fee, with no minimum purchase, this is a real bargain. The day we were there, Daniel was working, before I could get out of my coach he was ready with keys for the dump and offering propane if needed. There is no pressure to hurry up and get done. Extremely disappointed with Delta Liquid Energy. We rented a property for two years, which they serviced. Moved out middle of June 2016, informed them by phone and letter and learned only a couple of weeks later - by calling them on Aug 2nd (no, they did not contact us at all) - that they owed us $878.64. The person on their (805) 525 3311 told us then that we could expect the check in the coming days, as it would usually be processed in a four to six weeks window after moving out (which had already expired). Now, four other weeks later, still no news. Called them this morning, spoke to Theresa on the same number, who told me "ah yes, this will come any day now, I have seen things processed." When I tried to express how unsatisfied I am and how it always works the same way : when you subscribe, you pay immediately, when you try to get your money back, it's another story. She interrupted me in a very unpolite manner and told me that she is not in charge, that I have to call "corporate". Took her three minutes to find the "corporate" number (1-800-325-8326), which leads you to an automated system and if you don't know "your parties extension", that was it. Soooo frustrated. C'me on, $878 makes a difference to anyone, no? read more

Where do I start? They've come into my yard through my locked gate without my permission. They installed a tank that never worked, then when they came to replace it they forced me to sign a new contract adding a fee I never had to pay before. Their idiot salesman that I have to deal with is extremely rude, condescending and sexist. If I wasn't forced into this situation I would never deal with them again. read more

My tenant found DLE, who were both much more friendly and flexible, and also cheaper than the competition for home propane services. Mike at the Santa Paula office is very helpful, but everyone who answers the phone seems to have a good attitude. They were also very flexible when my tenant moved out and I sold the house...we needed to leave gas in the tank so that home inspectors could run the furnace, and Mike helped make it all work out without too much complication. They're good to work with, and provide a good price. Who could ask for more? read more
