I purchased a 1970 CT70 - paid top dollar. Tracy is a nice enough guy but have to say I haven't…read morebeen pleased with the end result. First off, Ike was delivered with a flimsily repaired gas tank that immediately leaked. They sent a new one - strike one, no one's perfect. Second, the carburetor never has work correctly and after speaking with Tracy he seemed to think it was no big deal. It only ran correctly when the choke was open, opposite of how it should run. Last, the odometer never worked and when I asked Tracy he said "that's how we deliver them so you don't have to show mileage whenever you sell". I trusted his answer but it was BS as it was broken and I don't think he wanted to deal with it. So I ride the bike occasionally but it was just taking room in my garage and I really fell out of love with the bike so I listed it for sale. A nice gentlemen came to look at it last week and really wants to buy it but pointed a few things out. This guy owns a bunch of refurbished Hondas so he knows his stuff. He said the carburetor needs to be rebuilt, the odometer was broken and it was leaking oil pretty badly. When I told him how much I paid he said for that kind of money the bike shouldn't have been delivered without those issues. Tried to call Tracy and his new partner and no response after a couple of texts and voicemails. Really has left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I don't think they really care. Too bad as it seems like I was taken advantage of. Wouldn't recommend this place.

There a quite a few talented garage mechanics and people whom can restore Honda Mini Trails…read moreunfortunately, I am not one of them. I set out to find a restored 1968 Honda Mini Trail 50 to add to my restored 1969 Honda Mini Trail 50 silver tag and made a call to Lil Bikes. I spoke with the owner Tracy Schooler who was extremely informative but more importantly passionate in regards to restorations. After reviewing some of his online videos it became apparent that his restorations were far more than painting and gathering up some reproduction parts. Even though I reside in Southern California, I went with Lil Bikes to acquire and restore a 1968 Honda Mini 50. Tracey located a 1968 Honda Mini 50 "Slant Guard" which was in pieces and had most of the vital pieces. One of the advantages of going with a business such as Lil Bikes was the fact that they were able to acquire OEM parts due to their years of networking. Kellie his wife kept me up to date on various aspects of the build and the whole experience was ultra positive. Lil Bikes upon completion hooked me up with a very reasonable transporter who just delivered my restored Mini today. Extremely positive experience with a true craftsman who happens to run a professional restoration business. Nice to do business with a couple who goes beyond expectations.
