We have been in Fort Lauderdale and I am from Atlanta and the service and the pedi is best ever! If you are a man or have a man that is reluctant to get a mani pedi! I am not an expert at getting pedicure, but this experience was very disappointing, compared to…read moreothers I did in the past at other stores. The lady who performed my pedicure was very nice, but unfortunately she could neither understand nor speak English well enough for us to communicate about the service. As a result, she cut the toenails on my right foot extremely short, to the point that they are now painful already. I have attached a couple of photos. Luckily, I somehow managed to communicate to her not to do the same on my left foot. I guess I was just unlucky with the person assigned to me, because I could hear all the other employees communicating well with their customers. She also kept pushing me to upgrade to the pedicure that included a massage, but the massage itself was practically pointless and added no value at all. It makes me upset because I watched other customer getting the massage and I could tell that the workers were really good at it. Mine was putting no effort at all. I honestly didn't care for the massage, but if you charge me for it, then at least give one. My experience was not good. Spent $65 + $10 tips. And I still gave the tip because I felt bad that she was standing there while I was paying, waiting for it.

I love this Venetian location! I've had the pleasure of getting my nails done by several of the…read morenail techs here, and I've had great experiences with all of them. I should mention that I always get gel polish on both my hands and feet, so I can't speak to acrylics or other services. My favorite is Eva. She's fast and does beautiful work. Connie is also amazing, and I recently had Ivy do my nails, and she's fantastic as well. For me, what makes a nail tech great is how my nails look as they grow out. Does the base of the polish grow out in a nice, even semi-circle? If so, that's a win in my book. Second, does the polish chip? If not, I'm happy! With these techs, I can often go three weeks with no chipping. Sure, my nails look grown out by then, but thanks to how evenly the polish was applied, they still look... polished! (See what I did there? ) My husband recently got into having his nails buffed and shined with a manicure and pedicure, and he really liked Lynne. So there are quite a few techs here that I highly recommend. My advice is to always call and make an appointment, even if it's for the same day. You'll be seen on time. Also, arrive a little early because they have so many polish colors to choose from that you'll want time to browse. Free parking is available, and there are lots of great places nearby to shop and grab a bite to eat. I drive all the way from Boynton Beach to this location because, in my opinion, it's the best!

I had a manicure appointment with Michelle today, followed by a pedicure appointment with Rio…read more Throughout my entire manicure, Michelle seemed irritated with me. She kept speaking to me very quickly and expected me to understand everything she was saying, even though she has a strong accent herself. Whenever I politely asked her to repeat something because I couldn't understand her, she became visibly annoyed instead of being patient. She also got irritated because I took some time choosing my nail polish color, and she seemed unhappy with the nail shape I selected. Overall, she had a very unpleasant attitude during the entire appointment. When we finished and I mentioned that my pedicure appointment was with Rio, she became extremely upset. She said, "Next time, go to Rio for your hands too if you're so happy with him." I calmly replied, "I'm happy with you for my manicure." But she kept saying, "No, next time go to him." After that, she didn't even apply the hand cream or cuticle oil that is normally part of the service. She simply rushed me out of her station as if she wanted me gone as quickly as possible. I asked her, "Is there a rule that I have to book both services with the same person?" She answered, "Yes." After that, I went to the lady at the front desk to explain what had happened. At that point, Michelle suddenly started saying, "No, I didn't say that." But I am 100% certain that she did. I have lived in the United States for years and hold a TOEFL certificate, so I had no trouble understanding what she said. Then she turned around, walked away, and continued complaining in her own language. I found that incredibly disrespectful. I came to this salon in the middle of my day to relax, enjoy myself, and feel refreshed. Instead, my entire day was ruined. I left feeling incredibly stressed and upset, and I'm writing this review while I'm still trying not to cry. This was a very disappointing experience. No customer deserves to be treated this way. For reference, both of my appointments were booked under the name Olivia.

She began my nails and I saw that the dip was wrinkling, due to lack of drying time in-between coats. I mentioned this to her and she acknowledged me. At the end of the appointment, she started putting on a gel polish to complete the service. I then told the nail tech, they were very lumpy and I had never had dip nails turn out this way. She also left dip powder all over my skin, causing it not to wash off because she had activated it. I wanted to cry because my engagement photos are tonight. I am posting pictures of how she left my nails, even after I politely complained. She also charged me 115 dollars for a dip manicure and gel pedicure. For this price and it taking almost 3 hours, I expected much better service, especially because I told her that I was having my nails photographed. The nail tech lacked knowledge and experience with dip, I have been getting my nails done for a long time and have never seen it done this way or be so lumpy after completion.

I haven't made an…read moreappointment and I always go at lunch time and while the place has been fairly busy, I haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes. There's a large selection of colors to choose from. I usually get the step up from the basic pedi (might be named deluxe, but can't remember). This pedi is about an hour long and involves longer leg and food massage which is always great! It also includes a mask and lotion in which you get to pick your scent/benefits. I've done the olive oil twice and the grapefruit once. I love the smell of the grapefruit! The pedi chairs are very comfortable with a good massaging system as well. The last time I was in, I opted for a gel mani as well with Kati. She did a great job and a week later my nails still look super fresh and pretty! She was gentle on my nails and cuticles and took her time to ensure the finished look was perfect. I deducted one star because two of the times I got a pedi, I realized a couple nails were filed crooked. I need to get better at inspecting before I leave so they can fix any issues. So my recommendation is just to give your file job a quick look over before you leave.
