I had the worst service ever. The lady who cut my hair wasn't attentive to my requests, telling me that it is always how she does it while I was asking her to do what I wanted for my hair. She even kept cutting although I asked her to stop cutting ! Then insulted me at the end saying I should have not come angry .... Well I wasn't when I first came in! Next morning, I am also realizing they charged me $130 for a service advertised on their website for $95. When I walked out to pay, saw some left over McDonald burger in the bar counter; overall cleanliness of the space is to reconsider. I would never go back and wouldn't advise anyone to go there for any service. No wonder why they were empty yesterday and the only place I could get in for a same day hair cut! read more

Fuming after today's situation!!! I always see keu and sometimes jade. They are both awesome at Japanese gel. I have been a regular client for a year now. I am always on time to my appointments and have a tight schedule. I recently had a baby and my time is very limited as an exclusively breastfeeding mom. I make sure to mention that when booking my appointments. I schedule both nails and toes at the same time. My two favorites were out today so tu scheduled me with Ty. I got a call that Ty would be running late from the front desk. I reminded them that my time is limited and I schedule my appointments together and around my babies naps. They assured me my appointment would go as planned but that it would just be delayed 15 minutes. For some reason the previous nail appointment asked for some elaborate design, however that client didn't mention that during there booking. Rather than telling that client they had another appointment they told me I would have to wait until they were done with the design. Meanwhile I specifically asked for both to be at the same time given my circumstances and already had to be pushed back 15 minutes. They did not take me for nails until 1:06!!!! My appointment was for 12. This is beyond unprofessional. Why would you screw over a regular client that you've had for over a year? This is 100% not how the situation should have been handled, especially for a regular client who booked appropriately and triple checked with the girl at the front that both services were at the same time. The girl doing my pedicure felt so bad she kept making up excuses as to why they were so behind because they were shortstaffed and because they didn't wanna say no to the client who was in the wrong. At that point, I said I would go with anyone else who could do Japanese gel well. But no one else was available to take me and I watched other clients get double services simultaneously and circle in and out. This was the opposite of a relaxing mom day outing. I don't recommend tipsy anymore as they are VERY unreliable!!! And don't have courtesy for long term clients. read more

i usually make an appointment but walked in this time 'off the street.' I was immediately attended to & fortunate that, with just a short wait (5 minutes), I was setup with someone to do a Dazzle manicure. The friendliness & competency of the staff are, & have always been, top-of-the-line! Additionally, I asked for a design, like a flower, on one of my nails, & I got a butterfly meticulously, beautifully drawn. This is a fabulous place to go for a manicure, pedicure, the whole range of nail care hand & foot - even a massage! And, if you'd like, you'll get served a glass of wine! I have been going to this Tipsy for well over a year. Its very nicely decorated and super big. As any place you start to see who does the best work and start to stick with them. I've booked with Frankie a few times and she is amazing!! She did a clear dip to protect my nails for a cruise, wonderful work. Taking them off however, another story. I booked an appt to take them off, left the nail tech option open because hey! Who can't just take off dip. Lena was my tech. She started by cutting them super short without confirming the lenght first. Well fine, they can just grow back, i'll live. After soaking them she starts to file them with the dremel, when the dip was already almost gone. She then files them again with a regular file and then buffs off. I had to tell her to please stuff buffing because i was feeling my nail bed get hot. As i saw my nail bed, it was pink. Impossible that she filed them so thin. She wanted to buff again and I said to not buff anymore. She started to say how taking off this dip can make nails look ugly. She showed me her own saying she had to cut them all down. That its ok as they grow back. She painted them red, i wanted to cry as i felt my nails paper thin. I got home and just cried in bed. I couldnt even scratch without feeling them go back. I had the appt on April 22nd. Today is May 2nd and I took off the color. I didnt want to see them. You can see where she over filed. Please avoid Lena for nails, dont go through the same thing. First time was with B and he was really nice and did a good job adding a floral design to my nails. He was conversational and he was so nice! I recommend him. However, my second was with Lena and I do not recommend her. She seemed like she was in a bad mood and short with me. Her gel removal process was extremely painful. She damaged my cuticles, was extremely harsh when scraping the gel off my nails, used the drill on my skin and even broke skin. The next few days my nails were incredibly sore and I couldn't use some of my fingers. The manager was very nice when I brought it up. I also was unhappy with how long my nails lasted. For the price, my gels shouldn't be cracking and peeling off one week later. read more

Another thing to note is for GelX they use very high quality materials and you can tell the difference from other salons. Finally, after 7 long months I have found a nail salon that I truly enjoy going to! The girl who answered the phone was so professional, and able to help me make a same day appointment on a Friday. I met with Inna. She helped me pick a color for my gel mani and a matching color for my pedi. The vibe in the salon was peaceful, the music wasn't too loud. I love that it smelled fresh and not like your typical nail salon of polish and acetone. My service started with a classic pedi, and ended with a gel mani. My tech took her time, I never felt rushed out the door to get to the next person and it showed in the perfection of my nails. The price was comparable to your typical salons. I had a really bad experience here. First off my hairdresser was almost 30 minutes late to my appointment. The receptionist told me she was in traffic and when she got there she told me she thought the appointment was at two. the blowout was fine. It wasn't perfect but it wasn't terrible. Now the haircut was laughable. I asked for a trim and layers. She botched my hair. I'm so upset. She asked if I wanted my hair curled and I said yes she never needed to charge me $30 for it for the most awful hairstyle I've ever experience I quickly when I got in my car and realized brushed out. My part was crooked and I'm just really not happy about the experience and how much money I just dropped for a terrible terrible experience. I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

Oh my gosh, this was quite possibly the best pedicure experience I've ever had. Tu was AMAZING. He was so attentive and detail oriented. I opted for the berry bliss pedicure which came with a callus treatment. I swear, half the time you ask for that, it doesn't get done. But not here, it was incredible. He even helped with this callus on the ball of my foot that has been annoying me for months (that other salons didn't bother with). I went in for a gel mani/pedi. I was up-sold for a "special " Japanese gel. I was told. "It would last longer". While I was getting my manicure the nail tech kept getting up from doing my nails to cash people out at the register. Not acceptable when one is there to get a one/one focused service. A few days after I had my nails done I saw some inflamed areas like hangnails around several nails. Fast forward the gel mani lasted less than two weeks and several nails broke.
