This is a very nice park. Amenities galore. Lot of thing to do and nice people to boot. Space are very well spaced and great foliage. Nice bath house. I would have given it five stars easy but, it is rather expensive at $57 a day (weekdays) and $61 on the weekend. That starts to add up. read more

Amazing family owned campground. Very quiet and clean. The gift shop is adorable with great espresso drinks and ice cream. They offered a non-denominational outdoor church service on Sunday morning with coffee and donuts. The fellowship was a great experience. Will definitely be back. read more

There is lots to do at this camp. Large clean pool and ,my favorite, pickleball! The sites are large and shady, it is very, very quiet.

Dell Boo Campground is a pretty little campground tucked away in the woods between the Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo. The good: +It's not near a heavily trafficked road like so many campgrounds in the area. So, there's not the threat of constant road noise regardless of which site you're placed in. +The sites are all pretty amazing. We took the time to walk around the entire campground in order to see if there's any sites that we wouldn't want to get stuck in. They were all awesome--not a stinker in the bunch. +The bathrooms are clean and have complimentary showers (ie: not coin op). +The kiddo had a great time riding through the grounds on one of their rent-by-the-hour recumbent (or nearly recumbent, anyway) bikes. +It's a short drive to the Wisconsin Dells if your goal is to enjoy all the entertainment the Dells has to offer. +They allow dogs on leash and even have a large tree lined field for running them off leash (though it's not fenced, so if your dog's recall isn't spot on I'd skip it) +The pool! They have a camp pool for a little water fun on hot days (full of kiddos, definitely not a great spot for adults wanting to get in some laps--but great for kids). +We didn't really check it out, but they do have a little arcade area for the kiddos as well +Each campsite is equipped with water & electricity. We didn't expect this (as we tent camp) but you could definitely bring phone chargers or anything else that may need electricity--even if tent camping. We even saw a tent with a room air-conditioner going in it! While we were there, they were also doing a "Christmas in July" celebration and so many had their sites completely bedecked with Christmas lights. +The spacing between camp sites is, in my opinion, just right. You're definitely not right on top of each other, nor could we even really hear our neighbors. +We noticed they had some cute camp cabins available as well, which were pretty reasonably priced for the area ($75/night). The not so great: +Given each site is equipped with electricity, there's no true "tent sites," which makes camping there for tent campers a little higher than average. That said, it's still less expensive (and more quiet!) than some of the campgrounds directly in the Dells. +Beyond walking around the campground, there's no hiking trails or anything. All in all, a solid spot to enjoy the outdoors, sleep under the stars, and do a little s'more making on a trip to the WI Dells! Get to it! read more

Im on the negativity side of this. The owners a pompous prick & ripped me off of over $200. He started with noise, which I was compliant, even though it was noon & I asked my neighbors if they minded me practicing my bass for an audition I had in three days. My small amp wasn't even at 2 for volume & my nearest neighbor was three campsites down! It was a paying gig with a professional band & he tucked that up for me too. My neighbors actually said, after the fact that they enjoyed my playing because Im good. Then he went around nit picking for any violation he could. Said i was over the line when I wasn't & said I couldn't have a second tent. I had my kids & I have severe sleep apnea so I require separate quarters. Im a 100% disabled Iraq Veteran & his bad attitude sparked mine & without even being there a day he kicked me out. Im on a fixed income & he stole food off my family's table! Even called the cops like a little bitch because I called him an asshole for refusing to refund my money for the two days I paid for. I was supposed to be in Leavenworth, KS but that trip fell through due to a rental car fiasco so I chose to go there for our vacation. He wrecked my experience with my daughters and Ill never forgive him. I should've just went Muir Lake, I didn't know it was free to disabled veterans. Live and learn but avoid The Dell Pines Camp Ground. Muir Lake is cheaper & you'll have more privacy to do what you want. Im going to keep on this place until they're out of business. Nice family campground. Good value close to Dells area. Pros: most sites are large, grassy areas with plenty of room. New bath house is terrific. Has a nice open grassy area by the pool and playground, so lots for kids to enjoy. Plenty of roadway for kids to ride bikes around the grounds. Cons: No outdoor speakers or music allowed. A rude neighbor angrily informed me of this when I attempted to play a movie on my outdoor TV. Pool is NOT heated and pretty cold unless its a sunny day. Playground equipment is old and some pieces are broken. Old bath house needs updating. Some sites are just sand and bare pine trees, so make sure you know what you are getting. We camped in a fifth wheel and would stay here again. read more

If I could review in the negatives I would give this campground a -10 stars review. The pricing is inconsistent and if you plan on saying here with more that 2 adults, four kids and more than one vehicle you might as well pay for an extra site to sleep in your vehicle. Absolutely no room to even park a camper along with your vehicle on the site. Our group was harassed by security guard, dale, multiple times and had over exaggerated our noise level before and after quite hours while neighboring campers levels were louder. We were forced by owner Rob, at 12:30am to pack up in 45minutes in the dark to vacate the property after the majority of our group had been drinking and went to bed. The children in the group were woken up in the middle of the night and couldn't understand why we were leaving the campground and they were devastated. I would not call this campground family friendly more retirement camping location. Very few activities offered especially on a holiday weekend. I will say that the bathroom/shower house was very nice and when checking in the two young adults had great customer service. Myself and anyone who personally asks me about this campground I will say avoid at all cost. read more

Due to the pandemic situation we decided to try out a private campground. This brought us to Dell Pines. We could not have been more pleased. Upon our arrival we were greeted by an amazing family who runs this campground. They answered all of our questions and were more than happy to help with anything we needed. By the end of our three night stay we decided to stay for an additional four nights. What an amazing week at a gorgeous place. Unfortunately our stay did have to come to an end but we were able to book a full additional week for the near future. Can't wait to be back at our new home away from home. read more

Horrible place. The owners made My husband and I pack up with our two small children and leave the premises at 1:00 a.m. because we had a TV playing softly on the outside of our camper. The owner pulled out his pamphlet and stated that their campground has a quiet time at 11: 00 pm And we could no longer have our TV or the lights turned on. We recorded the whole thing! We were very disappointed in this campground. We called last minute to check if there were any sites available on a holiday weekend. He said there were a "few". When we arrived, half the campground was empty. Now we know why. The dirt road was soft sand. We rented bikes for the kids but they couldn't even ride in that stuff. Our son lives in Baraboo so everytime he and his family came to visit, they paid $3 per person for a day pass. That was normal and we had no problem with that. On the last day there, we had breakfast in Baraboo with our son and family. Our son followed us back to the campground just for a few minutes to help us hitch up the camper. No sooner had we got parked at our site, the owner came speeding over on his golf cart. He was so angry he was shaking! Seems our son didn't stop at the office and pay the $3 per person day fee. He tried to explain that he was just going to be there for a few minutes to help his dad. The owner kept saying our son was trying to pull one over on him and pretty called him a thief. He just muttered some other stuff and sped off in his golf cart. Again, on the first big holiday weekend of the summer, now we know why this campground was so empty. Also, they have a rule of not leaving your pets unattended at any time. This must not pertain to the seasonal campers because they always left their dogs locked up in their campers for hours barking the whole time they were gone!! Needless to say, we will not be going back there. read more
