One of the ladies here always smiles and is very patient with customers! She even made sure my fries were still warm when I came back to pick them up after placing an order! The place itself isn't bad as there's places to sit and study. I will say that after it's busy you need to wait a bit for tables to be cleaned otherwise it's a bit oily after others use it. But other than that, the place is pretty nice. To the owner: please add a trashcan for people to place their trash. It would honestly keep the place cleaner and I can see how it can help staff. For those who come, if you don't want to leave your trash on a table, I typically take it outside on my own and toss it in a trashcan outside. (It's quite inconvenient though)

The price was decent for this combo and a total of eight wings. The service was also quick and the wings were made fresh. The fries were crunchy and had good seasoning. My personal favorite were the Lemon Pepper wings, and I loved the salty-citrus kick and it was overall well-seasoned. The Garlic Parmesan wings were also delicious, butter and savory.

On the recommendation of the counter staff, I ordered the Chicken Breast Classic sandwich, and I ordered fries with no salt (that's a dietary thing, and a secret way to get fries straight out of the fryer). OMG - the sandwich was almost perfect and the fries were perfect. If I were serving that sandwich to guests, I'd ask if they wanted the chicken breast cold or warmed slightly. As noted from other reviewers, the "sourdough" roll is shaped as a round bun which is not as I thought it would arrive. It also didn't have a traditional sourdough tang or texture. It was good, but not very sourdough. Expectations vs. reality. The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was clean, parking was easy, and I feel like my meal was priced appropriately. No pics, I was HUNGRY when I landed there - so, props again for really quick service from the time I walked in until I had hot fries in front of me.

My wife used the restroom while I waited near the entrance. Once we both walked in the manager (around 6'2", beard), from behind the counter told us very abruptly: "If you want to order anything it has to be to go, because we close in 10 minutes. If you want fries, order them now because they take 10 minutes to make." The way this was communicated was not professional or welcoming--it came across as rude and dismissive. There was no greeting, just a sharp directive. Despite this, we went ahead and placed a to‑go order for a tri‑tip sandwich and a Greek salad and paid. I completely understand that businesses have closing times and need to clean and wrap up for the night. That's reasonable. What's not reasonable is speaking to long‑time customers, or any customer, in such an unkind, abrupt manner. A little courtesy goes a long way. Because of this experience, we won't be returning. There are plenty of other local options in Davis that will take our money, while valueing and respecting their customers, regardless of when they walk through the door.

Can't believe it took me this long to write a review for My Burma. Long overdue. The food is excellent and I keep coming back. A few dishes worth calling out specifically: the Tea Leaf Salad, Sesame Chicken, Coconut Rice, and the Pad Thai. Haven't been able to get to anything else on return trips. One note if you're a heat seeker -- the Pad Thai doesn't get very spicy, even when requested. I like extreme heat, so factor that in accordingly. Most people will find it perfectly seasoned. On my last visit I tried the black rice pudding with ice cream. Don't skip it if dessert is on your radar. Dogs are welcome on the patio, which is a great perk. One thing to be aware of: the gate can be a little tricky to navigate -- something to keep in mind if you or anyone in your group has mobility challenges. My Burma has my business. Highly recommend.

We had the seafood tofu hotpot, shrimp wonton, garlic green bean, mongolian beef, half hainan chicken, and ny steak spaghetti to-go. Was a little busy at 7 on a holiday so we waited like ten minutes to get our order in, the guy memorized our order right as I said it lol. He confirmed and we got our soup in ten mins, ten mins for green beans and mongolian beef, another ten minutes for our chicken, then like seven for hotpot. Most disappointing was chicken, it's not hainan at all and just standard hong kong white chicken. Taste is fine and fresh but was sad. Best was the seafood hotpot AND the wonton soup. Both had great flavor and saltiness and was just sooo good. Wontons were very tasty and had a lot of meat, definitely both pork and shrimp, and soup even had little shrimp in it ifkyk. The seafood hotpot had great variety and flavor, my parents were pleased with the fish bits in it, the tofu was yummy bc it's fried tofu, the crab texture was not great maybe overcooked and I didn't like the soft cucumber but otherwise the broccoli scallop shrimp tofu fish bok choy was all great. Green beans and mongolian beef SERIOUSLY needed some wok flavor and wish the beef had black pepper because the seasoning was a bit lacking (wok flavor would be great here) and overall the vegetables were a little undercooked. They were addictive though I definitely kept going back for more. Hot tea is jasmine tea. Service was a bit lackluster but totally understandable and even though I was in a rush we were in and out by an hour and like ten minutes which worked. Ambiance wise, I didn't like how the lights are half brighter and whiter than the sun and half nicely softly lit. Tables are nice wood and a bit sticky but okay. There's random Chinese TV on the walls, very traditional lol and I think no music. Overall very pleased! Will definitely come back as much as possible to support, and highly highly recommend. I went harsh on Tim's because I was expecting perfect dishes, and even though some stuff didn't hit, everything was way beyond average.

Since, I live in Los Angeles, it's best to leave it to the locals who know the good spots. I let her do the ordering, since I am not too picky and wiling to try new things. The pizza was fully loaded with toppings, they do not skimp! One slice was hearty and good enough for me, along with the salad and wings. The restaurant has a dozen TVs for watching all the sports. There's an upper level loft with additional tables for groups, and celebrations. This was a great choice for the location, tasty food and good value for the price. Sincerely, Rosemary

As we were enjoying our food, the restaurant became noticeable more busy. A waitress came up and asked us if we were planning on leaving within the next hour because there was a reservation coming in. My parents were completely shocked that they would even come up to ask us. It came off as really rude and as if they were trying to get us to leave. My friends and I made a reservation for Saturday at 7pm, and the restaurant had some patrons but it wasn't too packed. Majority of the tables were booths that would fit 4-6, but if you're there for ayce, I wouldn't suggest more than 4 at each booth since the grills are small. The service team was friendly, but I think they're still working on the most efficient system. The ayce menu had a limited selection (in comparison to other kbbqs) for $32, but there were some highlights that my group enjoyed- salt and pepper wings, scallop and vermicelli, garlic noodles, sesame balls, and cheese corn. The meats were okay, but nothing to write home about. The bulgogi sauces were lighter, so that was nice, but I thought the marinade was off. I requested for the salt and sesame oil sauce, but that didn't taste right either. I hope they consider reworking the sauces and marinades because it would truly enhance the food.

The brisket, galbi, and pork belly were just okay. They have multiple different sauce options, be sure to ask to help flavor your meats. Service was doing the best they could considering they just opened recently. I feel like we had to proactively seek their attention at least a dozen times. For $32 this is a very good value, so I recommend trying it out if you feel like pigging out!
