We stopped in while traveling. I started off really not liking the place. It's hard to find. The seating is outside under a tent. When we were there the wind was howling. Sounded like the tent was going to blow away. I wanted a beer. They don't have any. I needed to wash my hands and asked about a bathroom. I had to go in a dark side building that made you think you were in a scary movie. I was very unimpressed. Voiced my complaints to my travel partner. Then the food came. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Perfectly cooked. Melted in your mouth and full of flavor. Andrea got a garlic shrimp dish that was amazing and indescribable. The place can make food. Every menu item we have tried has been delicious. They have regular year round items and seasonal choices as well. The food is all scratch cooked with their own recipes. The teriyaki chicken is the best in town (better than most in foodie-vile Portland too), served with a traditional Hawaiian Mac Salad. It's really so good. As much as i would really love to give a grand rating for my friends at delish, i just cant at this point in time. We waited 2 hours after ordering and still had not received our starters. As we got up to finally leave, the waitress was bringing out our entrees, which we asked to be boxed as we were ready to leave at that point. She offered to take the starter off the ticket (we never got it, so that shouldn't have been a second thought) but were not offered anything beyond that other than an honest apology from maybe the manager and a parting offer of a free cupcake for our $65 takeout dinner. Now, i completely understand that this was their new opening night but i think we gave plenty of grace sitting patiently for two hours for any part of our meal. We plan to give delish another shot for sure and i will happily update my review at that time if things change as i really, honestly, hope that they do because i do want to see them succeed! read more

Really tasty! Wonderful flavor and textures in every meal! We had the Korean Tacos with sweet potato fries, and I would be tempted to order this again, every time even, it was so good. The taco shell was a crispy, fried cannoli-style shell, with slaw, meat, and greens, all complimenting each other very well. The sweet potato fries were also very very good, not too thickly cut, and awesomely crunchy. The name is pretty hard to argue with right? Every time we came into town for a business trip, the local guys keep telling us that we have to try it. The last couple of times we were in town, they were closed or moving into their new location. FINALLY, we were able to get the opportunity to try Delish. Not once, but twice. That's right. We hit Delish up for lunch two days in a row! That says something about a place. Great food, great flavor. The sweets were also, well... Delish. This place certainly lived up to the legend we kept hearing it was. The nice lady behind the counter was super friendly and all of the staff were very accommodating. Hands down the best customer experience I've ever had! I planned a get together for family and friends in their meeting room. And I was shocked when I was offered to have our own menu made up for the event. What a added touch! Then the service was over the top exceptional! We didn't have to ask for anything! Amazing food, probably the best in town. Their pulled pork is delicious. Service on the other had is mediocre at best. I'm not sure if they don't have enough staff or they are just unorganized but it is painfully difficult to place an order (in person or on the phone) anytime they are slightly busy. They will forget about you at the counter, place you on hold and forget about you, or just not even answer their phone at all. Customer service goes a long way and they are lacking drastically in this area. When they were new we gave them a little grace for this but they aren't new anymore. What triggered me to write this review is I just spent the last 10 minutes on phone and finally hung up because I had obviously been forgotten about. read more

The grilled cheese and the grilled vegetable sandwich are DELISH! I am happy to finally see a high-quality restaurant in Hermiston in addition to Walker's Farm Kitchen, with great hours to boot! Wonderful customer service, as well. If I had one suggestion, though, it would be that an inexpensive side be included with the sandwiches. Something like a handful of sunchips or baked french fries would round out the meal, along with make the prices definitely worth it. One could then upgrade to a premium side for an extra charge, for instance. read more

My wife and I were traveling thru eastern Washington on our way to Pendleton Oregon. It was lunchtime and we were hungry so I decided to check out Yelp reviews for restaurants near Hermiston Oregon. We noticed all of the good reviews online for the "Delish Bistro" so we thought we would try it out. HUGE MISTAKE. My wife and I ordered a burger and the Chinese salad. This is a cafeteria style setup so customers order their food at the cashier then sit down and have their orders brought to their table. One hour and seven minutes later one of the employees came to our table and asked if we could tell her what we ordered so they could get the order in. The employee stated that they lost the order. We spoke with a few other patrons near us and they all stated that they waited an hour for their food. The sad part for the restaurant was that they weren't even busy. Would have loved the opportunity to find out if the food was any good but we were starving so we had to ask for a refund and then leave. Staff was not accommodating in any way. The staff made no apologies and offered us nothing for our inconvenience. When we asked to speak to the owner or manager, the server stated that the owners were unavailable. The service was bad enough but the worst part was that the staff had no clue how to respond to the situation. Stay away from this establishment. read more

Hard to even imagine in the PNW. Until I stumbled in desperation on Delish. Folksy, unique, a little unpolished in some ways, and an utter delight. A great chalkboard menu of real food full of surprisingly varied and tempting fare. A bona fide bakery and gelato lineup. Staff who care what that kitchen is putting down. Go there. Eat in that tent. This place is so delicious, for a little hole in the wall place the Food was AMAZING!!! I give the food 5 stars!!! The flavors where so good. I'm the type of person when I get a burger I usually add or take things away to make it good. The Spicy Gouda Burger, was Awesome!! Perfect in my opinion. Customer service was great!! We had to ask what was on some of the food and they knew their menu very well. I am giving a 4 star review due to size of the facility it can be a little cramped when ordering or trying to come inside to place orders. This probably the most unique restaurant in Hermiston. I ordered Khao Soi to go, but I have eaten here a couple of times. I generally stick to the teriyaki chicken with mac salad (you can't go wrong with it!). Delish Bistro switches up their food seasonally. I will be posting the menu that they have for Fall. The dining area is inconvenient since it's outside and probably inconvenient for the employees as well. Overall, their food and drink selection is amazing and the gelato is a must-try. read more
