Natasha (our overly awesome event planner at High Point) was so helpful, and SO right! She recommended a different type of menu completely to include heavy appetizers that everyone could easily grab that were filling and delicious. We got SO many compliments on the food. Crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops,chicken egg-rolls, and a cheese plate that was to die for were just a few items that impressed people of all ages that were there. Old people are picky! I had so many people ask who catered the event. Besides the food (which was not only a good quality but was served at peak temps to perfection) the service was worth every penny. Ashley and Dan came about an hour and a half EARLY to setup. Totally put us at ease and took care of any anxiety I had. They setup and replenished food throughout the entire party so it was fresh and never ever empty! They were even nice enough to help pass out champagne for toasts and get people things when they needed them. Second, their staff was incredibly helpful, accommodating and patient with the numerous changes we made to guest count and the menu. (thank you to Jessica for putting up with all the emails!). Let's be honest, bulk cooked food for 100+ people is never going to taste as good as what you get at a tasting, but this was close as you could ask for! The Texas beef brisket was still so tender, flavorful and juicy, and the Peruvian chicken was similarly juicy and not over cooked (and chicken is so easy to and so often overcooked). All the desserts were also excellent but the bread pudding especially was amazing. We heard praise from numerous guests about the food especially about the brisket and bread pudding! And throughout, the bartenders and serving staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. On top of all that, the price was very very competitive. He clearly explained all the available options, answered our questions, and offered helpful suggestions throughout the planning process. Ariana was also extremely helpful. She assisted us with the room layout, open-bar arrangements, and room discounts for our guests. Her recommendations helped us use the space effectively and made the entire celebration run smoothly. The venue manager gave us Claudete's information and shared some pictures of events that she did at the golf club. Throughout the planning process she was very easy to work with, professional and had so many amazing ideas that we did not even think of prior to meeting her. For my brother's party Claudete's team did the full service: décor (tables, photobooth, entry, backdrop, wall of fame), set up, clean up, catering (passed and stationary food) and bartending. Everything looked spectacular at the party. The food was so good. The drinks were delish and the vibes were GREAT! Her staff was so hands on and on top of everything. My parents and my brother were so happy with the service that they got. It pays handsomely to have a full service team like MK Catering. They take all the stress away and wow you! For my baby shower MK Catering did décor: tables, entryway, bartending and provided the food display, dessert bar display, serving-ware, full set up and clean up staff. The even coordinated my vendors so that this mama did not have to lift a finger or stress at all. My theme was gender neutral safari soiree and THEY DELIVERED! We went back and forth on the design to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and Claudete made it even more spectacular than my expectation.
