The staff was helpful, courteous, and always had a smile. They were very attentive to our needs. When someone spilled a drink all over the floor and they cleaned it up very quickly. Also the quality of the food was great as we had fish and chicken which were cooked perfectly. They were up front with all of the billing and exactly what services they would provide. They followed our instructions to the letter. We also had some people at our event with allergies and they made sure they were helped out by making sure their food was safe. The event flow was great too. Also when we were out taking pictures in the hot sun, they offered us water and appetizers which was very thoughtful (we didn't ask them to do this). We had a great wedding day and it couldn't have happened without The Prime Choice. Thanks so much for such a great event!

I was a nervous bride, but from the onset Dave reassured me and did his best in calming my nervous. He dealt with all the issues that arose at the venue, and on the wedding day he and his staff were attentive and very professional. The food (we had a sit down meal consisting of salmon and sirloin steak) was good and beautifully presented. We purchased their package deal which included the cake (Clara's Cakes) and photography (Lidia Miller's Photography). They both far exceed my exception. Our theme was love birds, so Clara designed a cake with shimmery silhouettes of kissing birds around the three tiers and big blossoms of sugar flowers as the topper. It was beautiful! Lidia (the photography) was a godsend! She handled the chaos of the day with a grace and calm. Initially my husband was a irritated because Lidia took so many pictures and had us pose very specifically for each one. At the end, however, we both agree that it was worth it, as we now have a beautiful documentation of our special day. So, if you are looking for a worry-free beautiful reception, this company will not disappoint you. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

I felt like I was at a black tie event at the White House the service was that good, I'm not even exaggerating. I wish I could post pics of the food, but I forgot. The brunch consisted of made to order omelettes, French toast that was out of this world, fresh bacon and sausage, these amazing has browns that were absolutely divine and the presentation was killer! They also served GUACAMOLE DEVILED EGGS that were just pure absolutely delicious! There was an amazing watermelon salad, shrimp salad, and a few other amazing dishes! Just when I didn't think things could get any better, out came trays of some of the most tender and well marinated steaks you could imagine. I'm a garlic lover, and they were drenched in delicious garlic and herbs! That's about all I got for the review. Please believe me when I tell you that I've traveled the world in the gourmet food business and I know when something is very special such as Pure Kitchen (PK). I didn't want to post this review, because I kind of wanted to keep the secret about how amazing they are!!! The staff was 5 stars. The food was 5 stars. The service was 5 stars.

I was looking for a caterer for my organization's Board of Directors meeting. I used Thumbtack to…read moreget some quotes and came across Chef Serge. He was the first one to reply to the RFP. He was very easy to work with--he shared his thoughts for a menu: Appetizers -Red wine poached pear blue cheese salad -caprese basil salad Entrees -chicken Milanese -red onion jam salmon Sides - french ratatouille - grilled sweet potatoes and cranberries Dessert -assorted of cookies, cupcakes and fruits Everything sounded so yummy but I wanted one of the salads to be vegan. Chef Serge told me that he can swap the caprese salad with green beans cherry tomato and grapefruit salad (I wanted the red wine poached pear blue cheese salad!). I approved that change however, there was some confusion. I later asked if rice comes with the entree and he said that it's extra and asked if I wanted it, I said to keep the menu as is without rice but he thought that I meant to keep his original menu. When he came with the food, it was too late to get the vegan salad. I should have ask for a confirmed menu. Chef Serge and his assistant came on time to setup and offered to stay for the entire lunch but we just want buffet style and members serve themselves. My favorites were the red wine poached pear blue cheese salad and the red onion jam salmon. It was the first time that I've ordered salmon from a caterer where they've kept the skin on. I love the skin on my salmon but caterers don't keep it on. The ratatouille was tasty but some people didn't know quite what to make of it. One of my colleagues said that it has some Caribbean spices--I mentioned it to Chef and he said that he's from Guadeloupe, go figure. The desserts were okay, some mistook it for Entenmann's. He told me that he works with local bakery for desserts. Personally, I don't care too much about the desserts, my main focus is the food. I recommend Chef Serge but I think he's best for private parties. I've referred him to someone who was looking for a caterer for a holiday party. He was very flexible, positive and reliable. If you go with Chef Serge, you won't be disappointed.

I would like to start off saying I would NEVER recommend or book with Rendezvous by Maria (Mitzie)…read moreReich LLC (also known as Reich World Events Services) business' again. This business has demonstrated a consistent lack of professionalism, honesty, and communication. The issues began when Maria double booked the venue we contracted through her. Instead of contacting me to discuss the error, she sent an email on a Friday evening confirming a different venue she had already booked without my approval. We approved a decoration mockup created by her assistant; however, the day-of execution did not match what was agreed upon. The tablecloths provided were wrinkled and visibly damaged, including holes and mold. Although Maria stated replacements were on the way, the issue was not properly resolved. Additionally, the table runners were the wrong color and there was not enough inventory, resulting in mismatched runners, which was not part of the agreement. Maria was not present for setup, leaving the work to her assistant and others, which contributed to poor coordination. After the event, I communicated my dissatisfaction with both the planning and execution. Maria stated she would provide compensation in writing, which never occurred. Our contract also included a $200 refundable deposit, which she acknowledged would be returned. It has now been nearly three months, with repeated follow-ups and no resolution or refund issued. While personal circumstances were cited as the reason for delays, failure to return a contractual deposit and follow through on written commitments is unacceptable. This business did not meet contractual obligations, and I would strongly advise against booking with this business!

A Golden Celebration to Remember! If I could give Rendezvous…read moremore than five stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. We recently celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg and I was naturally a bit anxious about making such a massive milestone feel special. From the moment we sat down with the Rendezvous team, specifically Mitzi and her daughter-in-law, Abby, all that stress just evaporated. They listened to every detail that I specified and gave me suggestions and other choices to choose from. Right from the start, Mitzi and Abby made me feel comfortable about my decision to hire them. The decorations were beautiful. They managed to strike that perfect balance between "Golden Anniversary" opulence and warm, inviting intimacy. The floral arrangements, all fresh flowers, were spectacularly elegant. The tables were set up as I specified, with gold table cloth, napkins and place settings. They transformed the Holiday Inn ballroom into something that felt both nostalgic and sophisticated. Our guests haven't stopped talking about how beautiful the room looked! Now, let's talk about the food. Prior to our event, Mitzi and Abby invited us to a food tasting event where there were about a dozen dishes that I could choose from. And they delivered! The appetizers were creative and flavorful, and the main courses and desserts were cooked to absolute perfection. As for the service, the Rendezvous servers were well trained, attentive and professional. In conclusion, Rendezvous treated our very special celebration with the respect and care it deserved. They didn't just "cater" a party; they hosted an experience. To the entire team: Thank you for making our golden year shine so brightly. If you are looking for a caterer who actually listens and delivers beyond your expectations, look no further than Rendezvous! ________________________________________

It was a pre-set menu: peach salad, choice of seafood or veggie cannelloni, and choice of strawberry pretzel pie or chocolate ganache cake for $22.
