Visited Nan Xiang on a busy Saturday early afternoon…read more Once you enter, you can scan the QR code to enter your name and phone number and they will assign you a number. Luckily, there was only a short wait for our party of two at around 12pm...but I suspect the wait can be much longer later in the afternoon or during peak dinner times. Once your number is called, you go up some stairs to the eating/tabled area. There are tables and chairs for 2, 4 and more guests throughout the large space. The pace of the restaurant is very fast...as soon as you are seated, you are given tea and your waiter comes over right away to take any order you are ready to give. Its helpful to ask for a menu while you are waiting for a table so you know what to order when asked. We had some soup dumplings as well as a (large) soup. Everything was very good and out in about 15 minutes...very fast. The soup dumplings were great...but as expected are filled with piping hot broth so be careful when eating. They have some other appetizers and dishes available. There are also some drink options including cold teas, soft drinks and beer. Overall a great experience...despite visiting on a busy Saturday, we were in and out in about 40-45 minutes. Street parking can be tough in the area but there are a few garages around...one of the more reasonable options is the garage at the Skyview shops which currently charge about $6 for up to three (3) hours and is a short 5 minute walk away.

Another great pickup, another awesome packaging job…read more Driving 15 mins home and food still arrives hot and crispy. Udon noodles are delicious, rolls are crispy, xiao long bao are the best in Flushing, IMO. Ordering online from their website is best, plan to allow 30 minutes for your order to be ready. They'll email you when it's ready. Until the next great meal!!!!

I ate in the enclosed patio which only had two tables, and the inside didn't seem much bigger. There is no bathroom for customers so don't bank on bio breaks here. It's efficient in that I was seated promptly, was able to place my order when I was ready, and the food came out lickety-split. Carry cash for a discount. I ordered the Wonton, Dumpling, & Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($14.75) under the "Popular Items" section of the menu since it seemed sampler-esque. The wontons and dumplings were similar since they both contained shrimp and pork but I leaned towards the dumplings since they also included mushroom, bamboo, wood ear, and chives. The duck egg noodles, beef, and broth rounded out the awesomeness. Can't wait to return with others!

Walked in on a Saturday around 6pm and managed to get the last two top. Don't be surprised if you need to wait a bit on a Saturday or Sunday around lunch. At any rate, get the wonton noodle soup. Or the combo that includes dumpling and dace fish ball if you want to get wild. All the toppings are fat(!!) from the wontons to the dumplings and fish balls. It's great. But for me the real star of the show is those bouncy duck egg noodles. They have a bounce that really puts it at the top of the list for me when it comes to duck egg noodle/wonton noodles. A perfect comfort meal on a cold day. Throw in some vinegar or chili oil between bites and you're in for a treat. Also ordered the (imitation) shark fin soup. It was solid. Texture might not be for everyone, but nice thing to snack on while you wait for your food, but not necessary. Service is quick. The space as I mentioned is small and can feel a little cramped, but they offer takeout if you wanted to just bring it back home. I'd still recommend just dining in though. Overall, great spot. Also there's a decent discount if you pay with cash.

I ordered the sogogi gukbap (beef and rice soup), cheese tteokgalbi (deep fried beef/pork meatballs stuffed with cheese), and Jeju Tangerine Fizz drink, which I added some Saero soju to. Everything was SO delicious! I loved the cheese tteokgalbi, which were even better with the rosemary lime aioli dipping sauce. The gukbap had a strong, savory broth and rice came on the side, so I enjoyed dipping it into the soup. The beef was cooked perfectly. Our meals also came with plenty of banchan, and the baechu kimchi had a slightly sweet flavor that I enjoyed quite a bit. Woodam advertises as "Korean comfort food," and that's exactly what you'll find here. Korean soups are so comforting, and everything we had was 5/5 perfection!

Rating not related to temperature There were literal pieces of metal Brillo or something in my partners rice bowl. Most of the rating is related. But it happened. The appetizers and fizz drink were nice additions but not enough to hold up the rest of the experience.
