Installed two iron metal gates and a section in one day. Final product was amazing and prices were reasonable. Would highly recommend.

The folks at Delgado Welding were highly responsive. In contrast to other providers, they reached out immediately and I had an estimate in just a day or two. I ended up getting custom metal fencing for small areas of my backyard and I'm extremely happy with the quality of the work and the communication throughout the project. read more

Mr Delagado did the work, see the photo, attached, in a smooth and timely way. Great quality and attention to detail.

I would highly recommend Delgado. I received a couple quotes on Friday and his was a little higher than some but the pictures of his work was better in addition to having good reviews. Im glad a chose his guys to do the work. I agreed Monday and my fence was done Wednesdays. Painted not spray painted, with a lock and key installed. There where also small details that you can tell thought was given. Like a guide to make sure it aligns to the lock hole. read more

Great communication and quality of work! My gate door was colliding with the fence at the bottom. Not only did they fix that issue but also replaced the door knob hardware to ensure that everything was in working order. They also ground out the rust on my front stair case and repainted it. read more

Andres installed a steel monogram on my gate and it looks absolutely beautiful. He did an excellent job of removing an old monogram and replacing it with a new one. He completed the work in very little time for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Andres and his team and I look forward to doing more business with him in the future. He will be my first choice. read more

Definitely will recommend them, he hasn't even started my project but so far I have great experience with his communication. Always very responsive to my questions and has been very patient to work with my unexpected schedule. Out so many companies that I try to contacted, Andres was the only one that responded right away and came to gave us an estimate the next day. I'll definitely be posting an updated review with pictures after he completes my project. Highly recommend . read more

Andres was VERY fast in not on communication but getting the work done as well. His team did a wonderful job cleaning, sanding, and repainting both of our deck railings. Was able to complete both the same day, and it looks fabulous. I had reached out to a few different quotes, and Delgado Welding was the best value. The work was fantastic and I would definitely recommend him for any jobs as well as hire again. read more

I've hired Andres and his team for two jobs. Both were excellent work and pricing was competitive. He repaired a wooden fence for me which was done well and he redid my wooden patio. Both jobs were 5/5. His team is reliable and responsive. I will definitely hire them again and would recommend their work to family and friends. They also got the jobs done fast. read more

I have one of those old black-painted iron fences with the little "fleur de lys" points on top, with 2 entry gates on the front of a standard Chicago lot. It was very neglected. It had 17 of those points missing, it was fully rusted through in 2 spots and rusty all over, and both gates closed poorly. One stuck in its frame and both had bad "rod and catch" type latches. A week after I first contacted Delgado Welding for an estimate, the work was already completed and done well. The replacement sections are almost indistinguishable from the rest of the iron bars, the replacement "fleur de lys" points match the old points very well, and the gates open and close smoothly and even have replaced springs. I gave the 5 stars for promptness in responding, setting a date and completing the work, as well as doing a great job and being easy to communicate with. I'm not an expert on pricing this but I felt the price was very fair, and it was much lower than the other estimate I got -- and that competitor would have taken 3 weeks longer to even start the work. read more

I had a small job to repair a porch railing. Andres replied quickly and came out to do the work on the next day. Great communication, quick turnaround, and the final result looks good. I didn't get other quotes since it was a smaller job. His quote seemed fair and I was comfortable agreeing to it. I appreciate someone who communicates and is reliable, so I'll call Andres next time I need something. Highly recommended. read more

Quick appointment for a quote, and they were able to schedule me the next week to complete the work (two gate fixes). I thought it was a very good price for a half day of work, and the work was high quality. read more

Highly recommend Juan and his team. He responded quickly and fixed my issue immediately. Excellent business and would work with them again!

Once again, Andres and his guys did a fantastic job. I had them come out to replace the falling apart fence back by the alley and also need a railing solution for our garage stairs. His estimate for the complete package was what other places were quoting us just for the fence. He was able to come out and do the job in one day. It looks great, feels very solid and secure. Couldn't be happier. And Andres is a genuinely nice man. He really cares that you are happy with his work. Thank you, sir and thank your crew for their good work, too. read more

Andres is a welding artist! We wanted a keyed alley gate that would look like the pattern of our storm doors. Andres did a beautifully crafted job, with installation...all in one day. On top of that, he is responsive to inquiries in a timely manner, shows up when he says he will, and is reasonably priced. Call him for any welding job and we think you will be very happy that you did. We highly recommend Delgado Welding. read more

Based on the prior reviews, I called Andres to see if he could fix our metal front gate, which hadn't been closing since about 2 weeks after another guy came out to fix it several years ago. Andres simply cut a small section out of the adjoining fence, used a strap to pull the fence over about 3/8 of an inch and re-weld it back together, which allowed enough space for the gate to latch again. He even bought the correct spray paint to touch up afterward. All done quickly and efficiently for $300. Money well spent. read more

Delgado Welding did a great job working to give me what I requested. Andres is professional. The turn around time is fast. I tried them out for the gate first, before moving forward with the motorized gate and garage detail which is custom fabricated work. The value is good, and Andres sticks with you to ensure you are happy with what you purchased. Andres is nice to work with and fair and will work with provided designs. He takes time to measure and to show you photos to make sure you are on the same page. read more

My Roth iron gate swelled during the summer days from the heat. It was extremely difficult to open. After setting up an appointment with this guy. He quoted me a ridiculous amount to repair. I told him it was to much and not to fix it. About a month later I was still having issues and really needed to get this resolved. Plus I started to have issues with the lock due to the gate been forced when opening. I called Delgado back and pleaded with him to repair. I told him I would pay the ridiculous amount of $150.00 he quoted me. Then he told me the price went up to $200.00. I just wanted to get it repaired so I said ok. I asked him to fix the lock too. The issue started from forcing the gated open. He was then saying that would be another $50 to look at, and another $100.00 if he had to change the lock. I didn't respond back after this. A couple days later I found another contractor who charge me $20 for the gate repair. All that was needed was to shave the Roth iron down a little. It took him 5 mins. As for the lock. The tumbler just needed to be changed. Thank goodness I found some one else who was honest. read more

We hired Delgado Welding to build a new gangway and back/alley gates. They did a fantastic job. Andre did his best to build the gates exactly to our specifications. When we pointed something out we did not like, he made the necessary adjustments. They were very efficient in building the gates and worked around difficult weather to complete the job in a couple of days. Will be hiring them again in the future and recommend anyone to do the same. read more
